I can be wrong, but maybe what put a distance between Fiore and her parents was the fact that they only wanted their daughter being perfect and normal like the other kids around her age. But Fiore don't want that. She just wants to be herself. I wouldn't call her a villain, but just someone who thinks is better than everyone else. Even if she has this personality, she should consider herself lucky to not be alone in the world by having Alec who never insisted her to change and manage to get over everything that went rough between them.
These Fiore greetings are getting really sad. She seems pretty smug and content for someone who: 1. Has shitty patents who see her as a monster. 2. Had her phone taken away. 3. Was sabotaged in Season 1's finale, and was LIVID about it. 4. Was sent to a Catholic school, in South Europe! 5. Is callously snubbed and burned in DCAS, specifically Jake, Ashley, and *Alec* . 6. Is physically and vertically outclassed by everyone at the camp. 7. Was predictably eliminated early. 8. Is stuck at a motel, where internet access is forbidden, just for the standard and forced cast cameo/"helper" role in the season finale. 9. Will probably be dragged back on the show long after personal interest, like many of the McLean family's puppets (Duncan, Ezekiel, etc.). 10. Has zero interest in any of the contestants as a potential older sibling figure/legitimate friend, something that many if the contestants fall back on after the season ends (Jake/Miriam, Rosa Maria/Lake, Will/Ashley, Maggy/Kai, etc.). This smug front ain't working for her. It feels artificial and alien, like the writers forgot how children work, even the really bratty ones.
