      I’ve lived in LA my entire life and this was actually the scariest quake I’ve ever experienced. I was in a movie theatre, and it started shaking so everyone ran out of the theaters into the lobby area. There were people running and kids screaming. The scary part was that it was a long quake. Like usually an earthquake lasts just a couple seconds.

      Well, if you’re not the one in the quake, it’s hard to be worried I’d think. Plus, they’re streaming and don’t want to panic/go quiet live. Once I lived through my first quake, my perspective totally changed. It’s horrifying.

    • @paintycup
      @paintycup 5 лет назад +71

      They had their own streams to entertain, AND weren't affected by the earthquake, AND they wouldn't know Bunny needed comfort (or how concerned J&J looked) because it's not always possible to watch streams while streaming yourself.
      So it was pretty standard for people who were vamping for their streams and suddenly had teammembers go off mic.

      I experienced my first earthquake when I was about 11 and I thought it was cool. It was super low level considering I live in Illinois, but it woke me up. I grew up in an old trailer and it just felt like the spin cycle was going on the washer because it would shake the trailer a little. Then, I felt the aftershock later that morning at school while we were learning about storms and watching stormwatching videos. My more recent earthquake experience was last weekend, June 30th-ish. It felt the same way it did when I was 11, butmy friend had just moved and the washer and dryer weren't even hooked up yet.

      We all respond in different ways lol. I remember being on a rollercoaster where the employee didn’t strap my mom or me in. He didn’t notice and shouted “Everybody buckled in?” Everybody screamed “yeah!” except for my soft-voiced mother who shouted “no, *we’re* not!” He shouted “everybody READY?” and everybody screamed “YEAHHHH!” And that’s when my mom lost it and started frantically waving her hands and yellin. I just kinda sat there wondering what would happen next. I knew we’d die if they didn’t strap us in, but it was so surreal and almost comical how close to the most absurd death we were. My mom’s entire day was ruined. I left with a funny story. I didn’t want death, I was just a stupid kid who didn’t quite grasp the threat and FEEL IT.

      @@bobbigarcia882 When? All I saw him doing was holding Bunny's head in his hands, trying to calm her down and giving her kisses. Bunny being as anxious as she is, he is trying to give her the secure feeling that she is with him and Jenna and that she is safe. Bunny doesn't know what the word "Shut up" means, all she understands is his energy and his attention he is giving to her. And he is probably freaked out too. Super volcanoes just come into existence because the plates happened to move a certain way, there is no thought involved- there are only chain reactions. Nature is random, survival of the fittest is a very interesting example of that.

    I’ve only experienced one earthquake, and it was probably the most horrifying experience ever. The ground moved, you feel sick and weak in the knees, you hear the earth rumble and shift, a crack happened in my garden and formed a small hill. Then all the house alarms around us went off in like this weird chorus of shouting.
    And don’t be so hard on them. Earthquakes are unnatural to them so any earthquake, no matter the Richter would scare them.. any standard is still a standard.

It felt and sounded like a truck hit the building - and a 2 “ crack appeared in the floor of our suite from the shock. Apparently everyone within 200 km heard and felt the same thing. No shaking just a big smack as the plate dropped down.

I really hope shes doing well with herself and makes sure shes in a good place before she returns to the internet. Ill be waiting with open arms for her to come back to youtube.

      Mythbusters tested this, doorways are safe if you can keep yourself in them, but in strong shakes you could easily fall over and be in danger of other things falling on you.
