I think a round robin challenge could be fun. Hannah picks the pattern, while the contestants pick a #1 each, then hand them off to the next contestants who each pick a #2..etc.
I love these challenge videos❤
Hannah put her college degree to great use in today's video!
She is awesome!
Fun to have you all in a video together.
That was fun to watch, Hannah is a good part to your family❤
How much fun and excitement! So educational! I enjoy going to your site.
Glad you enjoy it!
I liked the fabric Robert picked for the teenager but it said cooler tones, I thought cooler tones were more in the blue arena. To me orange and yellow are warm. Not a criticism just an observation. The video idea was cute, loved it!!
I wonder if it was cool as in way cool man. Not cool as in tone. Either way love the quilt.
I like the behind-the-scenes style of this video. Something new and fresh! Always love watching your videos!
What a FUN challenge! I always learn so much from each of you.
Great video. Hannah did a great job kicking the hunt off.
A quilt for a Goth teenage boy who is artistic. That's what I would like to see.
All the kits were beautiful 😍 and well thought 💭 about. I would like to see a directional challenge of fabric done. Everyone did a great job. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Great show! Please do more.
Hockey is an amazing (yet expensive) sport!
Really enjoyed this video with the challenges!! You all did great! I think the frog quilt could easily be loved by a boy too. John’s butterfly quilt definitely has “Flower Power”!!
Great challenge Hannah, Donna had a serious face on as she was choosing fabrics, then her beautiful big smile.
Wow. Each one of you knocked it out of the park. I love the colors John chose for the butterfly teenager quilt. He went with such nice soft colors, showing how a quilt can be cool without being limited to certain colors. That hockey quilt would be perfect for my son.
So glad you enjoyed the show!
Great family challenge. All kits and patterns were great ♥️🇦🇺
Would like to make t5hem all. great job.
This was such a fun video, absolutely loved the surprise Hannah pulled on you all with drawing the papers. Thank you for all involved, it was great!
We love doing the challenges. Hannah is so clever and creative! Donna
Love ,Frans frogs and Donna's for the girl choice Fabric Cafe Is The Best
Maybe you’ve done this before, but I think it would be fun for each of you to put together a quilt kit for the other two, based on who they are and what they like.
Donna hockey is the best idea!!!!!
🏑🏑
Enjoyed this challenge. How about a baby quilt without typical childish prints/colors. One that will grow with the child into middle school or high school. Additionally a graduation gift for an 18 year old leaving home that can transition into first home upon leaving college.
Great idea!
That was such a fun video!! I think I liked Fran’s choices best, but they are all beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Very fun episode!
I LOVE THE COFFEE MUG!! Along with fabric, I collect coffee mugs!
Love all the quilts y’all picked. Very..nice.
That was great fun! 👏👏👏
Love these videos!
Great show picking out fabric and patterns is my favorite part of quilting... that’s why I have like 100 quilts started I keep getting new inspirations❤️
I loved this challenge, I have learned so much about fabric choices from this channel. I now have confidence when choosing fabric for my quilts
That's wonderful Sandra! That's why we do what we do! 😊
What a fun show!’
Love Hannah's challenges
Loved this!!!! Great job guys!!!!
Interesting two interpretations of "cool tones" Did Hannah mean "cool" as in with-it, funky or "cool" as in color tones in the blue, aqua, and purple sections of the color wheel?
There may have been multiple interpretations with that one! 😅
This is so much fun!
Another fun show!
You all make your videos so fun and informative. Love all your selections; you make it look so easy!! Looking forward to whatever you do next!!❤️
Loved this video. Great challenge. I would like to see some done with directional fabrics. I have a few and not sure which patterns would work the best.
How about doing a quilt that would brighten the day of and older female with a terminal disease. Something that is adventurous and makes you want to get up and dance, even if you can't. Something that will brighten there day.
A beautiful idea!
Love this video! What fun!
Great job! 🧵🪡
Oh wow what beautiful fabrics you chose ....
I have an idea ... What about a challenge to make a quilt for someone going on a holiday to a foreign country to them.
I live in Wales in the UK... I wonder what you would chose for me?
Great idea!
Great video as always. How about teenage boys. One obsessed with sports and one more on the " nerdy bookish" side.
Nice video! May I suggest quilts for US military veterans? Prints with different branches or Camo fabrics?
this was so much fun!
Thanks Mary!
This was a great idea!! Great video!!
What a fun video!
Thanks Jennie, glad you enjoyed it!
What a fun video! Great ideas
Tht was such fun yo watch! Thx for th tips!
I have to make quilts for people who like goth style. How would you handle that? LOL I am going with blacks, grays and metallic silver accents, I think, but what pattern?
How about kits inspired by your favourite movies or books? Or both?
Donna, I've met Charli Pride as well, and he signed the inside of my Western belt! 🤠
That's awesome!!
Margaret it doesn't Matter! I was just trying to get to know the Fabric Cafe' better:::
We do have lots of people making the videos!
🧡🧡🧡
Did I see one of your episodes with a quilt called Synergy?? I cannot seem to find it if i did!
You did! That quilt is in our "One Block" quilt book - www.fabriccafe.com/One-Block-3-Yard-Quilts-p/032343.htm
You can search on RUclips for "One Block Fabric Cafe" and see a video about it 🥰
@@FabricCafe thank you so very much! I will look again. Love your patterns
Oh NO! I watched this video but we are packing up our house to move and didn't order fast enough - Game Time is all gone! Hockey fabric is hard to find and really should have stayed up later to order. My 12 year old grandson in Forney Texas is obsessed with hockey and plays goalie. Can you tell me the manufacturer of the 2 hockey fabrics? Maybe I can find some yardage. Thanks for all you do for us.
We are closed for the weekend, but I'll see who the manufacturer is next week. Donna
@@FabricCafe Thanks, Donna. Sorry to be a pest
@@deborahwerner2525 Hey Deborah! The manufacturer on the hockey fabric is Kanvas Studio. Hope this is helpful! -Hannah
No problem! That is a Kanvas Studio, I believe it is called Power Play.
Are Fran and Robert blood brother and sister?
Why would that matter? They are obviously part of a beautiful family.
Donna is the mother of both John and Fran. I am not sure if you are calling John Robert?
Hi Vicky, Fran and John are my Children, Robert, not in this video, is my husband. Donna
Two comments: you have the ability to show a computer mock up, so please do it with each kit. Some of your customers cannot visualize like you do. Second, define terms. I was expecting a lovely blue/ green from John and got warm tones (yellow/orange) instead. News flash: pale is not cool. That was so disappointing. Fran's frogs and Donna's artistic picks were delightful. I hate hockey, but that kit would definitely delight some men and boys in my life. There was too much dull in the cars and the other didn't peak my interest at all. Hopefully next video will be better. Have you considered a 123 challenge? Each person picks a fabric, hands off to the next person to pick a fabric, then hands both to third person to pick last fabric and pattern?
A 1 2 3 challenge could turn a focus fabric of one person into a background or number three position by the end. Often you say any placement in the quilt as long as you follow through and cut all the pieces....
Thanks for your comments. I'll pass the 123 idea along to Hannah,
