Who tf said no I just wanna talk
Mustaine would've had his ass kicked out of the venue.
It's a bit of a regression from hardwired and even more so than Death magnetic. A zero risks taken album (you could tell where the song was going to go on first listen and the riffs sounded like leftovers from hardwired) where Hetfield vocal was the saving grace behind some fairly average songs. Shadows follow is one of the stronger songs on it though.
Well it's a pretty bad album for Metallica standards imo...
later you can hear him saying we love it, but james was talking, i think he was trying to make a joke, we dont like it we love it

So you have to like everything a band puts out? Talk about blind devotion. That's when it starts to be more like a cult than a band.
The album is mediocre. Hardwired was better. It had some crap songs on it, but it had at least some bangers, like Moth to a Flame. There are no bangers on 72 seasons. Just mediocre songs.
Mr Hetfield has got to be the ultimate frontman..or GOAT.

As a much older fan, it's my favorite since the Black album. That there is such great video coverage around it may play a small part.

Bro what? If you're a longtime fan going to Metallica, you've probably heard all the hits already. I've never been to a Metallica concert and if I got a setlist that was just the standards I'd honestly be kinda pissed. For the price I'm paying, give me the new stuff and the deep cuts over CreepingDeath/FadeToBlack/Sandman/Puppets/Bells/Roam/SadButTrue please!

O último disco do Metallica não é uma obra de arte,mas tem músicas boas, e o que importa é que o Metallica está vivo e sempre fazendo música!
I’ll admit. I wasn’t crazy about it at first. it grew on me after a few listens. now I love it. probably their most energetic album since their early days. if you’re trying to compare it to the early stuff in terms of sound. then you’re setting yourself up for a major disappointment. besides please listen to every Metallica album since the first album. none of them sound the same.
