Maple Leaf Rag - Guitar Lesson, Part 1

This is a simple guitar lesson for Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag. This is the first part - the rest will follow.
I was first introduced to this song at school, where our music teacher would play it on piano. I loved the song straight away, and when I took up guitar a couple of years later I wanted to learn to play it. I couldn't find any tab or chords anywhere (this was the 1980's) and so I sat down to work it out.
This is a very simple version, but most people would recognise it as Maple Leaf Rag. There are some stunning finger-picked versions on RUclips, played by musicians with far more talent than me.
I'm sure that with a little practice, you will be able to play my version quite easily. Once you've mastered it, record yourself and upload it to RUclips. Please post links to your own version in the comments section.
