It looks like a good game, it has some interesting mechanics at times, like the swamp rocks, and the sound, music and graphics are nice, but everyone says it's so bad.
No matter what the movie was, they always made the video game sorta the same thing. He's now a guy who does a lot of jumping and attacking things. Who ARE these cavemen trying to kill him? And the levels were always way too long. Even the very very first one. Very very long and samey gameplay for the entire level, and no threatricality between one area and the next. Man it must've sucked to be a gamedev who had all this talent that had to waste away in movie licensing. I mean yes, better this job than no job at all. But that becomes a depressing statement about life. Such incredible technology just misfiring constantly.
Speak for yourself. You don't know how a gamedev in such a position would've been thinking, much less thought that their talents were being "wasted." For all we know, they could've been having a gay old time. And just because the title the devs were working on was a movie-based game doesn't mean that their talent was "wasted away" either.
