I'm going to add a caveat, if I may, once you get that job, and especially if you're young and breaking out in any profession, best thing I was ever told was "somebody's always watching", meaning just cuz you got the job, again especially if youre young, people are going to be watching and checking out if you can make a hand. You might not ever notice them, and if theyre seasoned youll never really feel them watching, but they are. On time is late, 15 mins early is on time. Remember this, itll make the old heads respect you and in a short time, matter of months as opposed to years, theyll trust you. Might save your job after that long weekend no show monday you pull....food for thought

    Spot on.
Pridefullness is unbecoming. Confidence is attractive.
I heard once we should be dangerous men, not with violence, but quiet confidence. “Walk quietly, with a big stick”. A stick which contains experience, knowledge, wisdom, compassion and humility.
