Outrageous update.I have been looking for both those Maiden box sets , bit hard to come by in Australia. But scored Saxons Eagles and Dragons 9lp box set last week for $220 Aud , about 100 pound which is pretty cheap. Your nuclear blast box set is killer too. Cheers Scott.

Yes, I go that reissue of Lionheart too and when I looked at the vinyl colour I thought there was no way it was violet, lol. A bit random with the lilac vinyl but being dark blue, not even that close. Maybe I’ll warm to some of the maiden albums lower on my list once I get the vinyl, I hope so anyway!

I have that NB boxset, got it pretty cheaply a few years back now, not sure I've even spun them all yet, lol. The Iron Maiden box does look good when it's full. Dance Of Death really grew on me after I got it on vinyl. There is a box set of those Saxon albums too, another rabbit hole to go down lol. Picked up the KD myself recently but still not into the vocals. Great pickups Scott, fantastic prices on those ebays, especially the Xentrix.

That's a great update. Nice boxsets. I was tempted with the maiden, but already had the CDs, but I seem the opposite of you as I did pick up X factor and virtual. Anything of Saxon from lionheart to now is their best period imo so you can't really go wrong there. Cool to have that helloween on vinyl, great album, was just listening to it this afternoon actually. Nice to see iced earth, an over looked band. Great bargains, I guess you have to find some now and then. I'll check out that hexx 🤘🤘

That Nuclear Blast box set looks epic and would cost an arm and a leg over here. It certanly has some monster awesome bands on it. I own no King Diamond albums. I just cant get into the vocals but you never know it may click with me 1 day. I recently picked up a Hexx record and have been loving it so amazing score for 3 pounds. Superb update brother😀🤘
I know King Diamonds vocals do split opinions, it’s a shame because the music is tremendous. It must be frustrating having limited supply of stuff over there mate!

I love early Saxon...but I was there at the beginning and that stuff is memorable to me..latter albums are good but sound very similar to me,but still one of my favourite bands..✌️

I started KD with Abigail and wasn't sure about the vocals either so the Scottish fellow (I'm in Canada) offloading his collection gave it to me for buying his Saxon collection lol. I was hooked and bought the others. You should listen to this ruclips.net/video/0UL_JXVIrqU/видео.html . Maybe its the earlier production on Saxon that doesn't appeal? Anyways they beefed up the production on those rerecordings. Awesome Hexx pickup and for 3 quid, insane. I only have the one at the moment from Hexx. Control Denied is one of my top 50 albums period. Their second album will be out. They have enough material its just the mastering is taking time. I recommend you get the Metalhead album from Saxon next. If you loved Lionheart you’ll love Metalhead.

X factor is a brilliant album
Good musically but I think Blaze lets it down, vocals aren’t strong enough IMO

I’m just too used to Bruce. Blaze isn’t a bad singer, just doesn’t do it for me in maiden 🤘
