On this lesson we will see how to make guitar solos following the harmony.
This lesson is from our Lead guitar course, on it we will see how to create improvisation paths using the chord notes.
Making guitar solos is a little science, for a solo to work you need to use the harmony that is being played by the other instruments, both element are part of the same music piece, they can not sound independent.
The idea of this lesson is to learn to write guitar solos moving trough the chord tones, making improvisation paths, this basically consist of moving trough the scale but landing on chord notes every time there is a chord change on the progression.
We will see different resources, from using different notes for each chords or using common notes to create simple paths to improvise.
