- The roly-poly's back! My best guess is it's a female (tags, overall length) so I decided to go with the name Poppy.
She sure looks like she's in the market for some affordable housing later this year. Let's hope we'll get to see more of her and get acquainted.

There is a lot of research on how bears (especially polar) can live with getting so fat and suffer no consequences, which they obviously do not as it is how life works for them.
BUT that is one very seriously heavy bear for this time of year. It does make you wonder if she has some kind of medical (veterinarian) problem. She must have come out of hibernation very large as she (he) cannot have gained much weight since then, unless she has been feeding somewhere with more than abundant calories available.
If she came out of hibernation heavy................................................
