Honestly, I feel like Joey being kicked out was the most insane thing ever, Even bands like Gwar who dosent like Slipknot stated Joey was one of the best drummers of all time and don’t want to discredit him in anyway, And if it helps, a lot of people from Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn, I think Aerosmith I could be wrong but a lot of folks liked Joey in general.
Joey wasn't kicked out. He left the band because he was sick and playing was becoming extremely painful.
I thought Joey got kicked out cuz the band said they were going clean after Paul’s death and when the early symptoms of his neurological condition surfaced they thought that he relapsed and kicked him out for breaking the promise

He wasn't kicked out, he quit.

Haven't listened since Joey was kicked out. Slipknot feels like a commercial brand these days to me.
Joey was kicked out for drug use and conflict idk people gaslight everything into slipknot big bad every one who was kicked out was for a good reason.

There are so many bands like Slaughter to Prevail, Paleface, and Spite that do Slipknot's job way, way better with less members to boot. Slipknot has been kept afloat by nostalgia money for years, and it's a miracle Corey's ego hasn't chucked everything down the drain. They kicked out the objectively BEST member of the band, and arguably the most impactful member to their success that somehow blended Death Metal into one of the biggest metal bands ever JOEY. They don't know what they're doing.
It's such a shame, this band got me into metal, and to see what its turned into makes me upset, but i cant support them anymore. The guys back in 99 would hate to see what the band has become and it's sptting on the graves of paul and joey

Just because someone says or does something doesn't mean it'd their true beliefs, the world revolves around money, and those who chase riches will do anything to obtain them.
The Knot are my favourite band of all-time. I loved Jay's contributions as a member. I hope things work out for all parties.
