Really sad that games like this for the most part don't get made anymore. We should have had TONS of games like this this generation. Instead, we get high production value mediocrity over and over. We need more unique games with unique gameplay styles.

in photography it's called tilt-shift photography. It's for making the objects in the image seem miniature. I don't like the Zelda games, but this game looks fun. I don't have a PS3 though, so whatevs.

I play this using the sega saturn controller CGR convinced me to buy in a previous review. Makes it feel like I'm playing on an old 16bit system all over again. Also Phantasy Star remake... would be... AWESOME

@HeadphoneHalo Rip-off or copy is a wrong word. They just share alot of same elements from other games. Irrational was part of the Bioshock's crew so it's not a "copy" of System Shock 2. System Shock is also one of these games that some people might call as copies, which they are not. And for Splinter Cell, first thing that comes in your mind is MGS and other Metal Gear games. It has the same elements as MGS which might make it feel like a "copy", which it isn't.
@VAST56 it's just a name that don't have connection with 3d tv's it's ment by something like the old school RPG games in the 8-bit era but with 3d models and polygons alike.

Combat looks easy. Are there any games that plays a lot like Zelda: A link to the past, but with challenging combat? The only game I could think of is Spiral Knights. But it doesn't really have a story.
i think this game would shine on the wii, just because of it fits the wiis style of games and because since it compliments zelda, it should on on the same companys console (zelda is nintendo!)
@DeadbeamNetworks I dunno where you found a universal headset....mine only hooked up to my 360 controller. However, my PS3 blue tooth headset comes in clear as a bell (so say others), and it works with my phone and PC as well. And uhhm, PS3 gets exclusive downloadable content as well....all the time. Except with an XBOX, you're paying for that content, as well as the monthly fee (which by the way, doesn't go into ANY dedicated Micro$oft servers). I'm not being mean, I'm just sayin'.

I went at midnight to walmart to get this game, it is awesome and it really makes you work for the platinum trophy. I'm over 50 hours in.. and after you beat it once.. you get to keep everything and beat it on a special harder difficulty that is unlocked.. 360 fanboys just cant handle the fact its another flawless PS3 exclusive
This is the only game I'd get for PS3. Simply because NINTENDO stopped making this kind of game and Microsoft never will. Wonderful game. Wish it was on PSP.
Looks pretty hot. I honestly didn't see the resemblance to the LoZ series until this vid, but it's somewhat unmistakable here although I'd say it looks more like the first LoZ with a lot of aspects borrowed from LttP. Can't believe you like Space Balls more than the SW trilogy, half of Space Balls wasn't even funny! Even the original Casino Royale was a better spoofing of an established franchise (with Austin Powers arguably even better than that). Seriously going to have to pick this up.
@Poonard That's a network error though, it happened and has already been fixed. I find that much more tolerable than selling $400 disc-scratchers. I don't take sides for no reason, Sony has just shown more respectability to me. Anyway w/e, Nintendo is still the most respectable...

@ToonLawliet I grew up on a farm and I was 4H and raised pigs. I sold them at the end of the summer and got some cash. I don't know if you could make enough to buy a PS3.

First thing I did was turn up the color saturation and changed my camera to more a top down view. Amazing game.

When your weapon has an area of effect 1/4~1/3 of the screen with lots of damage, you know it's OP

Silicon developed/made the game. FromSoft published it in Japan and Atlus published it in North America.

The legend of Zelda A link to the past, is my favorite Zelda game. It was made in 1990 and it has better graphics than the one released after it.
I play this using the sega saturn controller CGR convinced me to buy in a previous review. Makes it feel like I'm playing on an old 16bit system all over again.
Also Phantasy Star remake... would be... AWESOME
