what's the everstream and the stream copy landscapes non-living landscape into that land has multiple landscapes of different types from different parts of the world combine to one landmass, only infinity of Pokémon or spirit world say's the living to in-animate has life in it explain in-animate objects can come to life if that energy not bio-energy I called ether is like 5d space explain how massive different in-animated terrain like rocks to crystals
these lifeforms also make Pokémon like in the new game have crystal power-up and only work bond and give energy from one creature to another and mutated them into something new?
I love how you include obscure(but actually important to understand the events of the story) information from NPC dialogue and the artbooks, and tell the story better than the game does as a consequence, and it's still shorter than the cutscenes.
Can I just say how glad I am that Monster Hunter is taking narratives more seriously now? Before ir always felt like an afterthought, now they do feel like epic adventures.
I still remember watching my first video of MHW and it happen to be a hunting horn tutorial then buying the game from Mercari and waiting for it to get shipped to me, I was so excited😭😩
It's still my headcanon that the MC is actually the 5th fleet master. There are always the leaders of each fleet at the commander's meetings, but the mc is always the 5th fleet's only representative. Since the mc obviously is also the fleer's best hunter and noone is ever suprised about it, it would just make a lot of sense to make him the "boss". In the starting cutscene, everyone tries to get inside the ship, except for the mc, a thing that realistically speaking the fleet master would definitely do.
That's such a good thought I never came across, definitely taking that! Also, that would make the Excitable A-Lister super unaware of professional behaviour, which seems very much in character for him, just approaching the boss as if you were best friends lol
Except the mc doesnt really do any leading or bossing around, best hunter also doesnt mean that theyll make a good leader, were more like the huntsman of the fifth fleet tbh who just stands (or in the case of the hunstman, sit) there in silence in meetings but is the powerhouse when it comes to hunts, the huntsman literally the only mf we see fighting another monster too
@@jahovah2979 to be fair the Excitable A-Lister does do some fighting, but I won't spoil it just in case you somehow haven't experienced it yourself. For how laid back and energetic he is, he's one hell of a trooper and deserving of A-Lister title.

Man the nostalgia, I am forever thankful for Monster hunter World for bringing me into this franchise, the long adjustment period to the game style and weapons were worth it for the scale of the setting and the fantasy documentary vibe it had.
I think the scene where the Tracker, Star and Handler talk about the relationship between the Coral Highlands and the Rotten Vale is the game's most telling moment of how the devs went all in on making the New World's various maps feel like actual ecosystems rather than just places to hunt monsters. To reveal that the effluvium - a literal flesh-eating bacteria, the epitome of death itself - are essentially the beating heart of the wondrous New World, overflowing with life, really puts things in perspective. I'm so glad I decided to play World and Iceborne, and now I understand why World makes up 25% of all of the sales of the entire series.
Man it's so crazy. A friend of mine just got me into MHW over a year ago. I didn't think much of it cuz there was so much to remember that it was kinda overwhelming. But once I got the ropes and slayed a few monsters that I got into it. It's been about 3 months since I first fought Xeno'jiva and let me tell you........ I'm 100% in. I LOVE monster hunter and I'm glad I found this video It felt like a recap of my adventures (and let's be honest, every player feels that way lol) thank you for putting this together and reminding me once again on how awesome it is to be a monster hunter!

Base World in my opinion was the best base Game of any monster hunter game. It felt incredible. Like you were playing a completely new yet familiar franchise. The only thing it lacks was proof of a hero. It plays only ONCE and it's in the Zorah fight.
lets not get it twisted the base game had very limited weapon model variety. it took all the updates before iceborn and layered armor/weapon system to finally get some decent fashion
Yes. The way I would have done it for EVERY weapon: It starts off as iron or bone but the more you upgrade it eventually the final weapon is it's original design. And they could have easily done this while still having iron or bone parts. The Tobi bow or the Legiana weapons are a Great example of this.
I still think it's 4U. How the Kindred Hunter/Doodle became a Master Hunter, how Gore Magala grew with him, and on their final confrontation, how Shagaru Magala recognized Doodle as the Hunter who defeated it before. Rivals. That's the Kindred Hunter and the Shagaru Magala are.
Many people didn't know is that the story of World is one of the most important chapter in the entire MH universe, the hunter's contribution is literally world changing
Wonderful job! I love it! Most folks gets annoyed at our handler but doesn’t understand that she takes so much burden off of our char’s with all the recording and paperworks!
Monster Hunter World's story is without a doubt it's weakest point and is the part i enjoy the least on my many playthroughs. The way you managed to create a coherent story in which every assignment has a purpose is geniunely impressive lmao. Please continue making these videos, you are incredibly good at enhancing the monster hunter experience.
Thank you! The craziest part is that I didn't add/invent anything of my own story-wise, everything in this video is either from the game or the book. The game has a really good story, it just didn't manage to communicate it well to the player, which is a shame :/
I first saw Monster Hunter when my highschool classmate brought his PSP. He was playing MH Freedom Unite back then. Grewing up poor, I don't have the means to buy consoles. Looking at the gameplay, I told to myself, I am going to play that game someday. Fast forward, I graduated high school. Started to get my degree but being poor still have me in its arms, I stopped and work till I can buy a cheap phone. I downloaded an emulator and played MHFU and man, the moment the game booted for the first time, I was so happy. I barely sleep and marathoned the game till I hit 200+ hours in. Sadly, my phone broke. Luckily, I managed to buy a mid gaming phone played again. Then I played MHP3rd, also with emulator. Now, I played MHW: Iceborne with almost 400ish hours, got my degree, have one of the highest paying job. Monster Hunter will, and will always be a special part of me. I am looking forward now to MH wilds by next year and hopefully, to play the game on best settings with a mid/high end gaming laptop. See you there, my fellow hunters.
15:59 Wait so our all our hunter’s paperwork was taken care of by our handler?! Say what you will about her voice, character, and/or self endangerment, I don’t give a damn! she’s all right in my book.
13:29 how, exactly, does a kirin go about crossing an ocean? The other elder dragons known to have made the crossing are either winged beings capable of flying there, or semi-aquatic, able to swim or walk along the bottom like zorah magdoros.
I bought it back when it released and then I was like: "Nope, too hard, too slow, too clunky." and gave up before I got to Nergigante. I didn't play it again until it blew up with back to world and the wilds announcement and now I'm 350 hours in and loving it. ❤
Honestly, I still remember the day this game launched, what an adventure and all the amazing memories made with long felt friends. Only regret is I stopped playing roughly after Safi was released. But I'd still happily go back and blast my way through. This just hyped me up for wilds even more now
I don’t know what to say except for thank you. I’m happy that I’ve understood this story more through your presentation of it. I’ve loved MHW since it came out, and now being a wildlife and conservation biology student, I feel even more connected to this series. The hard long hours of research in our own and in fictional worlds is not to be understated, and the discoveries we make along the way can be monumental, much like World was. I’m so happy to have started my journey as a monster hunter with world. Happy hunting, everyone!
Absolutely incredible!!! Watched the entire video through one sitting, never lost my attention once (well, once to go show the video to friends) World has such a good story, you wrapped it up and displayed it like the canteens best meal
2 months later but I have to say, I hope you will do Iceborne as well for a Story video like this. I was so confused to the story before with the base game but this helped explained it so much and made me crave to know more about Iceborne too.
Some of these details are a big help for my stories. Especially how the Hunter Handler system worked. I just improvised up how one handler would work with a few select hunters in the field. Also, I'm not sure if i could give enough weight to the Zorah Magdaros fight like you did and have done in your readings.
Honestly I would’ve thought that you would also include the iceborn dlc as well as the gathering place but I can’t complain with the product that we already have. Love this video and hope more like this continues to happen.
I am just so happy that this game exists, it saved my life. I had previous experience with Monster Hunter, back on the psp, but it never captured me as much as World did, and even to this day, the game looks just... beautiful.
Thanks to you're content, even though i haven't played any monster hunter games(too broke womp womp) i can fuel my big cool monster fighting and biology addiction
I have 500 hours in Monster Hunter World one of my all time favorite games appreciate you giving this game the love it deserves ive never loved just the landscapes and encounters in a game since MHW they were cooking
As much as i loved journals entry of hunters from different games, the plot of game is also very interning and fulfilling. Great job mate / wish for more of those
Wow this was an awesome video. Thanks for your hard work. I had no idea that monster hunter was a game series, I thought it was just a cartoon that spawned a movie. I'm gonna check out more of your content.
Thank you so much for making this, Sir Oceaniz Attenborough 😃🙏 It was a treat!! I watched it like a movie...with a drink and snacks and everything ! You're one of the most creative and passionate and talented MH content creators that our community has ever seen 🤗!!! Are you going to make one for iceborne also?? I can't wait to see what you have in store for us!! Keep up the great work, fren!!! Big respect!
Oceaniz, will you make monster Hunter world iceborn story ? Is that so, i hope it will be soon, cuz i cant wait for star's reaction when he sees that there was another xeno'jiiva, which transformed into its adult form :D
I'd like to see more Fanged Beast monster ecologies soon, maybe an unusual pick like Kecha Wacha or Blangonga, I am just chucking out ideas, great video as always Oceaniz.
I loved this!!!! It was so well done!!! And brought info I didn't know about and better explained the story that I thought I knew as well as possible!!! Thank you for this, it was amazing and I cannot wait for your next project (maybe the story of iceborn explained?) but for now you have earned a deserved rest!! Have a great one!!!
As someone who’s trying to complete rise, start 4U or Generations, and is waiting for Wilds, I don’t think I’ll have time to play this game for a while! So this video is perfect for the context I’m missing
You call the rotten vale a nightmare, but for me, I saw it as a land of diverse beauty in the macabre. Something about creatures surviving in such a harsh environment was fascinating.
Do we think that, if the hunters never repelled Zora Magdaros, it would have gone on to eat the cocoon before it ever hatched, and lived longer with the extra energy?
I think it would have been vaporized upon Zorah's passing. Even if it hatched, I don't think Xeno would have been able to survive a blast that powerful.
The only issue with this great telling of the story that I have is that it is made abundantly clear you aren’t the Sapphire Star until after you slay Xeno. The Sapphire Star is their guiding light of sorts, and it is in fact Xeno themselves. People can argue if they want to be wrong, but if you take a look at the inside of Xeno’s tail when it is severed it is literally that shape. It makes perfect sense with the story, the Sapphire Stat is what they use to guide them all in this direction, Xeno is drawing everything in and the idea that the Sapphire Star is actually a byproduct of Xeno, like light from the raw energy being given off as it grows, just makes perfect sense. Then you become the Sapphire Star as your nickname because you slayed the Sapphire Star, and guided them through it all essentially, the second of which the commander literally says as he calls you his Sapphire Star the first time only after you kill Xeno. You aren’t the Sapphire Star before that, so it feels really wrong to call the player the Sapphire Star so early in the telling of the story, it is like you’ve been crowned the champion and victor before even knowing of any of the challenges that lie ahead.
Can you do the story of Iceborne next because Im still confused of Velkhana role in the story, I thought it was responsible for the enviroment but it was Shara(it sank a volcanoe I read). Like it feels like Velkhana was random and had nothing to due with whats really going on in the ecosystem.
This was masterfully made. Thank you for presenting the story in such an interesting. I'm a new comer to the series and I started recently with MHW I barely followed the story while I was playing the game and was so lost on why we are fighting these random monsters. My friends told me to pay more attention but by that time, I was already near the end. I can't wait for you to cover Iceborne and Rise as these are the games I've played.Maybe even the older games like Generations and Tri as I haven't played those but still want to learn more about them.
I lost all my savefiles of mhworld early 2024 , I was at very highrank I had everything you could ever get on the grind from layered to actual set I was heartbroken, yet I gave it a new run and boy we are so back Never stop the hunt guys !
Is it weird that I've had this game for several years, but I only finished the BASE game at the end of last year? And that I still haven't bought Iceborne?
@@trashpanda999 The irony is that the main reason for that is cuz I keep deleting my save file and starting over instead of making a new 1, don't know why I keep doing that Though TBF, I only figured out how connect my PS4 to the WiFi earlier this year
This was an INCREDIBLE retelling of Monster Hunter World. It makes me wonder that, in between your Ecology vids, you'll do something similar for Rise or Generations?
Now here's a good game idea, a prequel for mhworld where you can join any other fleet and be a hunter at that time And maybe also transfer save files from different MH games?
MH could gain a lot by having a narrator spoon feed what the cutscenes leave up to the player to figure out. A lot of ppl are missing out on a great story of discovery and science
I remember watching the demo for this game feels crazy was my first interaction with mh and i was like 13 and diablo felt like a end game boss i was always thinking about it the one day i saw it on discount and is my top five games of all time i love the monsters hunter games
This reminds me of the brothers code if they did a lore video on monster hunter. Well at least the thumbnail and video length. Everything else is all oceaniz.
Because I already know that someone will ask: YES, this is in fact faster than just watching all the game cutscenes (which takes 3 hrs) and also includes exclusive info from the book! So I think this is a pretty good deal :D

Id really like to thank you for all that you do!! This is amazing! Keep up the phenomenal work!
I bought it back when it released and then I was like: "Nope, too hard, too slow, too clunky." and gave up before I got to Nergigante.
I didn't play it again until it blew up with back to world and the wilds announcement and now I'm 350 hours in and loving it. ❤
This was really cool! Thank you for making it!
Honestly, I still remember the day this game launched, what an adventure and all the amazing memories made with long felt friends. Only regret is I stopped playing roughly after Safi was released. But I'd still happily go back and blast my way through. This just hyped me up for wilds even more now
Great video on a great game with an OK story. This is still one of my favorite games ever after so much time has passed.
Watched the entire video through one sitting, never lost my attention once (well, once to go show the video to friends)
World has such a good story, you wrapped it up and displayed it like the canteens best meal
I want to see a Ruiner Nergigante against Primordial Malzeno. A knight vs a barbarian.
My boy nergi wins.
My favorite part was when nergigante said:
S
EX
Fans: Man the story of MHW is so boring i wish I could skip everything
Also fans: *Give 300,000+ views to a video about the story*
Soon.
Please keep making these videos, monster hunter content is my favorite, and you make the best of the best
I am just so happy that this game exists, it saved my life. I had previous experience with Monster Hunter, back on the psp, but it never captured me as much as World did, and even to this day, the game looks just... beautiful.
Thanks. I have finished the game a long time ago and was struggling to remember the story as I continued to the DLC. This helped immensely.
Story of Iceborn next perhaps? I mean, I would watch that 🤙
Thanks to you're content, even though i haven't played any monster hunter games(too broke womp womp) i can fuel my big cool monster fighting and biology addiction
Hey Oceaniz can’t wait for the next ep for your monster hunter content
Oceaniz, will you make monster Hunter world iceborn story ? Is that so, i hope it will be soon, cuz i cant wait for star's reaction when he sees that there was another xeno'jiiva, which transformed into its adult form :D
A video based about my favorite game from my favorite Monsterhunter RUclipsr and it’s not even my birthday. Least you got the month, right! Thank you!
Happy nobirthday 🎉🥳
I'd like to see more Fanged Beast monster ecologies soon, maybe an unusual pick like Kecha Wacha or Blangonga, I am just chucking out ideas, great video as always Oceaniz.
I like the documentary but the more you call the hunter a shooting star my brain jus wanna melts
😂😂😂😂
Ah I was wondering what happened with this video. Can’t wait to watch
I'd love one of these videos for iceborne. The connections between velkhanna and Shara are less clear than Zorah, Nerg, and Xeno.
Really love your narrative focused videos. And people say Monster Hunter has no story!
A very well crafted video for a very well crafted story
hopefully a full iceborne story is on its way
The only issue with this great telling of the story that I have is that it is made abundantly clear you aren’t the Sapphire Star until after you slay Xeno.
I still remember im shacking from excitement when facing fatalis for the first time on Monster Hunter at PS2 era..
This was masterfully made.
Thank you for presenting the story in such an interesting.
I'm a new comer to the series and I started recently with MHW
I barely followed the story while I was playing the game and was so lost on why we are fighting these random monsters.
My friends told me to pay more attention but by that time, I was already near the end.
I can't wait for you to cover Iceborne and Rise as these are the games I've played.Maybe even the older games like Generations and Tri as I haven't played those but still want to learn more about them.
This would make an awesome bedtime story.
I lost all my savefiles of mhworld early 2024 , I was at very highrank I had everything you could ever get on the grind from layered to actual set
I was heartbroken, yet I gave it a new run and boy we are so back
Never stop the hunt guys !
Let me save all some time and recap this: monster bad, wacking it good
Wacking monster or whacking 'it'🌯?
Whack and bonk is always the answer
Zorahs presence messes with the ecosystem, the elder dragons go crazy, nergi tries to damage control and we kill everything else
I somehow never realized that the rotton vale was a dalamadur skeleton. Cool!
52:41 like how you casually skip the scene of the handler idiotically jumping into the group of monsters to give said tortch pod.
I never played MH that much but I'm loving this.
Masterfully told and wonderfully imaginative!
29:24 Is that the black forest ambience from Valheim?!? I recognized it immediatly!
Is it weird that I've had this game for several years, but I only finished the BASE game at the end of last year? And that I still haven't bought Iceborne?
You're not alone, bought this game around 2020-2021. I just completed the base story last night.
@@trashpanda999 The irony is that the main reason for that is cuz I keep deleting my save file and starting over instead of making a new 1, don't know why I keep doing that
Though TBF, I only figured out how connect my PS4 to the WiFi earlier this year
4:35 If only it were so simple...
They should make “monster hunter beginnings” it would be so cool for all the players that came in with World. I feel like it would be a hit
1:16:58 I SPEND 30 MINS TO SEE WHAT WAS THE MESAGE JUST TO SEE "anja in wildspire" 😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂
Fantastic video. Commenting for algorithm visibility.
Hope it gets expanded with Iceborne
I witnessed a tale that is worthy to become a legend, a myth
And the teller delivered it magnificently
Great video, well-written narration!
I'd love for a part 2 covering the big dlc (kulve, behemoth, whitcher) and all of Iceborne.
I didnt play this till it went to gamepass a few years ago but omg was it a magical experience ive never had so much fun playing a game before then
This was an INCREDIBLE retelling of Monster Hunter World. It makes me wonder that, in between your Ecology vids, you'll do something similar for Rise or Generations?
Magnificent video! I loved every second of it.
Now here's a good game idea, a prequel for mhworld where you can join any other fleet and be a hunter at that time
And maybe also transfer save files from different MH games?
MH could gain a lot by having a narrator spoon feed what the cutscenes leave up to the player to figure out. A lot of ppl are missing out on a great story of discovery and science
Oh yeah, im the main character less gooo
head canon: seeker wears fatalis armor and the beast is taking over
exceptionally good video, well done.
I just find your videos i and i love them.
Great job man ❤️😎
I LITERALLY WATCHED UR CHANEL HALF AN HOUR AGO AND NOW U POST A VIDEO
