- Is it possible to 100% complete GTA Online? Yes, but it'll take a significant amount of your time and sanity.

Here's a list of all of the stuff you need to do in order to get to 100% completion:
-Max out your stats
-Hit level 750
-Buy everything
-Get all awards
-Play all rockstar created jobs
-Get all collectables
-Hit level 1000 in Arena War
-Hit level 1000 in The LS Car meet
-Get all hairstyles
-Get all tattoos
-Get all Office Trophies
-Get all Nightclub Trophies
-Get all Arena War Trophies
-Get all Arcade Trophies
-Complete everything on the Progress Screen
-Get every unlockable clothing item (excluding limited time items)

Disclaimer: Although these calculations were done to the best of my ability, it's very likely that other people who tackle this same question will likely come out with different results. Unfortunately it's very hard, if not impossible to truly ascertain the correct amount of time something like this would take. Different players will play at different speeds, and some people will have a slightly different definition of what 100% means to them. With that being said, I hope you enjoyed my personal take on how it'll take to hit 100% on GTA Online.

A lot of these things can be done in parallel.
For instance, you wouldn't really have to factor in the time to get to max level, since by the time you do all the achievements and such, you will probably be at max level.

Small note. You get RP while grinding for money, so the time it takes will be less as you don't have to grind RP and money separately. Great video anyway!
Yes & no, you would be needed to focus on to mor then money if you want to hit a decent amount of rp/ranks under short time.
Best way to grind for faster rp, is from
"one crate sell" Ceo work, simones missions, and other missons. No need for double rp/cash, since some of these missons still give you about 3-4k rp each missons, pays out low but yea.
In that tone it can take you 2 minutes to get a hole in one golf or 1000 hours
RP will eventually get really hard to push up so you will have to grind it separately, so I say do all the things that involved money first
Personally, I've did every interesting mission, bought everything that interests me, i think I've done for myself

Really, I'd say 100% in GTA Online is doing what you want that interests you, like business-wise, I do almost everything except the vehicle warehouse, and I've done all the heists and story stuff thus far, and I'm fine leaving it at that.
Though when I first started on PS3 before I met the crew I've worked with since 2016 on PS4, my goal was to do all the races since I had no one else to work with in doing the then-new heists with.
This video hasn't even started and i just know its a masterpiece.

He's not always correct though, in a past video he claimed a promotional screen shot for GTA 5 had the wrong background and he tried to stand in the same spot to prove it..

If you included rare clothes, the only way to 100% would be if you had an original 2013 account with the shirt awarded to you if you finished a heist by giv8ng yourself 100% of the cut, which after a while Rockstar disabled that feature.

I would add unlocking all the numbers of the Vanilla Unicorn girls. A game would never feel 100% without doing this step
Money is the easy part, you can make enough to afford everything pretty easy now the hard part are the broken/tedious/bugged/impossible awards and unlocks
(like supply crates, sea races, armoured trucks and so on)
these were removed from gtao and cannot be completed, but the awards stayed

Don't forget you also have to do 14248 pursuit races in order to reach level 1,000 in the car meet reputation

You get a small amount of RP for car meet for taking cars to the docks too...
the 19 hours you aren't playing GTA you could AFK in the meet

I have been looking for a video like this for ages im actually trying to 100% gta online made new account currently at 550 hours rank 175 and loads off stuff maxed out got 10mil jet and 5mil helicopter thank you for the video i reallly needed this

this week theres the autoshop missions which are 3x money and theres also a glitch to do one mission (810 000$) b2b in only 7 mins if youre efficient so thats about 7m/h (which completely obleterates your estimation of about 500k/h)

We will be able to 100% Online as soon as Rockstar stops updating it. Until then, 100% is impossible because new content is always being added.

A friend of mine tried to complete all jobs the game offered back in 2020 until our characters were reset because of cockstar’s salty decision for garage glitch. It’s also nearly impossible to complete all jobs because casino heist’s job section is too buggy that it needs the casino heist to be completed with all outfits the missions offer and it also usually doesn’t count for the stat to be increased. Actually the reset didn’t affect us too bad. Afterwards I managed to level up our new characters to 120, bought only necessary things, reached 100+ kd with some tryhard gameplays and we moved on to play new games. The only things that made me upset were his hard work and losing the characters that were created back in 2013. One more thing, also many things in completion stats were removed from the game like crate drops or lester’s removed free mode missions. It’s also impossible for a new player to complete everything the game offers. Only someone from 2013-2014 days that transferred his character to next gen can. (those removed things also have to be completed back then.)

I know someone who spends multiple hours a day each time Arena War is on 2x RP simply killing themselves for the Arena War RP to level up legitimately so if they see this, it'll be like a personal challenge.
Also, there is the LS Car Meet levels that also need to be grinded.
I have in terms of years played and things done, then again they always add stuff and I still find new things traveling the same places. I’ve retired my character tho, i only hop on now to do the new missions and buy the new businesses when available
Question about the 346 garage slots and 700+/- total vehicles;
Did you count every personal vehicle slot, not including special vehicles such as Terrorbyte, Night Club sell vehicles, Kanjali, Special Vehicle Warehouse vehicles such as the phantom wedge? And was the MC Clubhouse inclined in the total?
And how'd you count every vehicle in the game? Does it include non purchasable vehicle such as the Barracks Semi, each police/sheriff vehicle or was only purchasable vehicle counted?
Something U maybe forget:
-the 1000 lvl of the carmeet.
-the 1:20000 Chance to get the slamvan on the Casino wheel,
-and the 1:? Chance to get the unicorn mask.
-And... The cutscenes in every gta online Mission...

Ive spent over a billion, have all pegasus vehicles, all clothing items, almost all garage slots were full until the new garage came out, and have all businesses. Just need a few more things...
There are a few things that you simply can't get any more because of how much has changed over the years (tattoos I think) and good luck even doing the things that are technically possible, but would never happen without exploiting like getting to rank 1000 in arena war

You need to take in consideration that some of these (Like the Mastermind Challange) can be easily lost with one mistake, wich can also indefinetly push the lenght of 100% GTA Online.

I’m not sure if awards cover this but regardless of whether or not you have the vehicle I think unlocking all paint jobs and liveries for each vehicle should also be factored in

I'm currently 100%ing gta online, and that's part of it. I'm considering vehicle trade prices as part of 100% completion. I sat there almost all day Friday and Saturday doing hotring races just to unlock the everon trade price. I didn't do all that to save $400K, I did it for completion.
and this is why im glad that 200 hours in a game is a lot for me

Other than reach rank 8000 I’ve literally done everything over multiple accounts and I’ve reassured the grind is more fun than that end

I think grinding enough money to buy everything would get you a good way towards the rank, so they shouldn't be counted separately
Could you please post your spreadsheet with the cost of every item in the game?
I have already spent over 17mill in clothing and I feel like I haven't even acquired half of the available items, that without counting Arena Wars and Casino specific clothes...

Hey first of all i really enjoy your Videos! Second im pretty shure that the 600 hours for all the platinum trophies is not accurate at all (i have abot 6k hours in gta online) for example the elite challenges need like 70 hours on there own and they are not possible currently. And the hardest platinum trophy of them all will take hundrets of hours on its own (getting a World record on an official rockstar race ).Im trying to complete all the platinums as well and wish all of you good luck finishing them :)
I went for level 500 arena war, I think that was worth it since I multitasked. I would grind arena war and watch movies or tv shows, maybe even do some other work like school work while grinding. I think that’s plenty for me though. I don’t ever see myself going for level 1000 arena war
level 1000 has 4 times more exp, I did it in real torture
while youre getting money , you get ranks, your stats go up, and when you get awards and collectibles you also get money and rp, so its probably a few hundred hours less but its still a ton of time
Im rank 440 and have made over $500M (you can check your overall income via stats) and i dont have every item yet though i have all properties, weapons, upgrades, and most vehicles and i only have $1M on my character atm so the math for the prices of everything must be wrong. Good video, just a slight correction
If you are going to do all the other stuff surely you could take some time off of the time to grind to 750 as you will level up naturally, especially if you spin the wheel every day and get rp about 2/5th of the time. I'm not willing to prove it though
I have almost all, I just miss some old awards before the ''Heist'' rewards and the Arena War Space docker and the old truck rank 1000
I Give up for the insane grind of Arena War because it's this the most crazy and annoying thing to do

To get every tatoo you have to do 1000 supplies stealing jobs in bunker so its even longer
You foregot to add at least 20% of this time suffering from bugged sessions and missions and find a dedicated friends to help you in most of missions and giefers and server downs and getting disconnected for no reasons .... etc.
Not even to mention the doomsday achievements are hard alone and could take forever if one teammate/ person throws the game

Really like to see the data that shows you only need ~400mil to own everything, since the amount to own everything about two years ago was ~750mil.

It’s crazy to think even with a purchased moded account with practically unlimited cash and already maxed out lvl, it only complete merely a fraction of this grind for you, maybe years later when GTA Online stop receiving updates and everyone have move on, one guy will pop up and post a video of an account showcase with 100% completion

I just grinded money and RP, but I'm not an award completionist.

I am player since December of 2015 (PC). And ive been grinding since then, never stopped playing, sometimes i played alot, sometimes i played less. I am 5010 level (legit), and unlocked 313 awards. I believe its impossible to be 100% in GTA Online because it just keeps expanding, and its online game. But i bet its fun to grind it to a maximum.

thousands of hrs of grinding for "100%", but the time incontrol puts is much respectable
It would take me 151 days just to get a hole in 1 on the golf course.
