Okay, I just read a few theory comments in other OC videos, so here’s what I think: Wendell and Wendy are siblings, and since mom and dad seem to be out of the picture, Wendell has to take care of Wendy. Since he has bills to pay he can’t afford, he agrees to partake in an experiment held by a scientist/doctor with money as an exchange. The experiment was to exchange a person’s eyes for glass: but not normal glass, something that can steal souls, and therefore kill people. It seems to have links between human life and death, which is probably through mirrors. This was not explained by the doctor, though, so when Wendy dies after being experimented on, ( we know she’s dead because in the Crash meme we see two Wendys: the alive, cheery one in a yellow dress, and the more ghostly-looking one on the white dress who seems to be a “mirroring” of the alive one. ) Wendell feels it is his fault because he got her and himself into it. Thing is, he is not completely alive himself, because he was also experimented on, so he’s not really in control of what he’s doing. He acts on instinct based on the magic of the glass in his eyes: he’s become something, not completely human, that steals souls by becoming something more “appealing” to prey, first. Once he gets the soul, it is transported to the inside of a mirror, which is why we see many soul’s hands trying to catch Daisy as she falls into it. She was maybe a reporter, investigating the new paranormal activity in the town ( this is why she has a camera and a notepad with her, and is clearly investigating. ) Now prey to both siblings during her investigation, she is attacked by Wendell. When her soul was stolen, though, she became one of them instead of just dying and being trapped inside of a mirror, like everybody else. Which is probably why Wendell looks confused. This is all I got until now- hehe. I might be wrong! I love this universe you’re creating, either way! ❤️

In the Q&A meme, when asked how she ended up as a ghost, Daisy says, “Well, Wendell was trying to find some snacks, but I’m not a quitter, so instead of becoming a meal, I got out of my body somehow...” This implies that Wendell eats people by looking in their eyes and absorbing them. We know that Daisy was a reporter, so she was probably looking around the building Wendell lived in to find something she could write about. Wendell wasn’t bothered by her, and decided to eat her, since she clearly wasn’t going to leave. However, Daisy’s will to live (or maybe something else) was able to keep her alive, and her soul left her body, which is how she became her creepypasta form. I just noticed that when we see Wendell in the mirror at 0:14 he glitches. If you pause at the right moments, you can see his silhouette is switching between person to person. It could be him shape shifting into people Daisy knows ands trusts to try and deceive her, or of those are people he used to know and he’s just unstable.
