Meet Jenny!

Meet Jenny! She's a young adult living with autism and medical issues, who loves to entertain and is passionate about animals. Jenny is a part of Activ Heartbeats performing arts group at our Beaconsfield Hub where she learns and performs dance routines for different events throughout the year. She's a natural performer and loves to show people what she's capable of. She says she feels at home with Activ Heartbeats - a place she can be herself without being judged.
Jenny's love for animals has led to her pursuing a course in animal care at TAFE. Jenny’s mum Anita credits Activ with this big step.
“Activ has given Jenny the confidence to move forward, which is why she has started her studies at TAFE, and I couldn’t be prouder!" Jenny dreams of working at Australia Zoo one day and has a particular interest in reptiles.
Anita is incredibly proud of her daughter's achievements, and we are too! We are honoured to support Jenny and other individuals with disability to live a fulfilling life.
