Awe this was pretty heartfelt and relatable in a lot of ways. Though I am not married yet this was beneficial. I have had my share of loneliness seasons and coming home to an empty house. Additionally watching all my groupies back then all getting married one by one and I was one of the odd one out(expectations). How I dealt with it all. Truth be told I had my moments when I vented to God like the real thing (no sugar coat I pretty much let it all out). I grew tremendously through these seasons personally, spiritually and emotionally. I treasure my relationship with God now because of how much these struggles I had drew me closer to Him partially because there were so many moments I had no one to talk to but Him. I know what it's like to feel like life is so overwhelming and I can't do it anymore. I know the seasons where there is so much responsibilities I feel drained. But I always remembered to seek God in my lowest moments and to listen to His direction. I had to learn that God's plan for my groupies were different from His plans for me and to really and truly believe that He has a plan for me. I had to also learn that God's timing is different from mine and His ways are higher than my ways. I had to learn to allow God to be Lord of every area of my life. I struggled with this mainly because in addition to me being a high achiever, I am a go getter. As a result I realized a lot of times where I made decisions based on the fact that Rosetta wants this without considering... Does God want this for Rosetta and that's where the problem would come in. But in all this I had to learn to discern the voice of God and follow His leading. It was hard for me at first because waiting on God is not easy. Now that I look back on those seasons from where I am standing, I would never trade them. Not only am I a better person because of them but I am a better Christian. I have learnt patience not only with myself but with others and I have also learnt how to say 'NO' to whatever I know is not God's will for my life. I am a conscientious Child of the living God. These seasons have helped to develop my character. I strive to live intentionally which is another lesson I had to learn in prioritizing my life and I strive to live on purpose. I tell God if so and so won't give you glory then I am not interested etc. I audit the things I get involved and I ask the Lord that whatever I do and get involved let it be aligned with my purpose and destiny.
Zhara and Xaundre I am not a social media person but I ran into one of your previous videos and I must say that your level of maturity is commendable. I did youth ministry for years so I know what I mean. I sincerely pray that God will keep you guys and that His name will continue to be glorified through these content. You both are doing well 😊 Don't be too hard on yourself. It is OK to give yourselves grace. I know the struggles. I too tried getting a mortgage as a young person in JA and bwoi to no avail but God is able. Though I migrated recently for the third time, I know it ain't easy but there is not enough space here to tell how much of a miracle worker He is. Keep the faith my new brother and sister. Much love and have a great weekend.

Zhara don’t be hard on yourself. Been there, felt that in my many years of marriage. Remember you all have another chapter to go through, and that is when you have children, by then the guilt of friendship has to take a backseat, and friends will understand. Next week I celebrate 50 yrs of marriage with my hubby, and as I listened to both of you, you were on point with all that was said.. The respect for God and later on for your children will take precedence over every thing in life. Stay strong, you all have started off well, don’t be discouraged, Rome was not built in a day. The brain drain is SERIOUS! I left Jamaica literally on an olive branch of faith as a teenager because I knew there had to be more out there! I knew life didn’t have to be so hard! Fast forward almost 8 years later, I go back as a tourist (intentionally; I always hear people over here talk about how they LOOOOVE JA and as a destination spot, it’s always top 5 and I wanted that experience) and had the most amazing time I almost cried when it was time to come back because on this trip, I found Jamaica to be the best place. Perspective. I am with you Zhara, as someone who took the leap I would encourage any young person who has the opportunity, run and run fast. I will say IT WONT BE EASY BECAUSE FOREIGN HARD TOO! But, here, you can really see your way if you move with sense and ask God for wisdom.
Build yourself, and if anything once you’re established you can go back and live your absolute best life because let’s be honest, the only people in Jamaica that use the hashtag #JamaicaNiceNahLefYah, are the people who are high income earners. This is why foreigners can come and love it in a way our own people can’t - they come with powerful currency! The average Jamaican who’s trying to make it, or even those who aren’t necessarily struggling but they aren’t balling either, would love an opportunity to leave (most of them anyway).

    • @adventuresofxyz22

Stop beating up yourself, you both. You guys are doing great. Continue to GOD the center of your relationship as HE will help you to move forward. GOD will keep your eyes open to see clearly so, don't be feeling guilty. Cast your care to HIM! What you are enduring right now is called adjusting to one another. As you continue to share life that way, you'll become one. Good Luck and GOD bless!

Bear in mind, the both have their unique look, so, always remember you can only get to the end product through the process. So my darling, trust the process!! Zhara, my dear you a doing well for a new wife. I can identify with all that you are experiencing. It’s a phase, and you will learn from experience how to maneuver it all successfully. Fortunately, you have a partner who is totally understanding and just very kind. All the best to you guys, you are doing it with God! You guys are super amazing, am super happy for y’all existence.❤️🌹
Edited: I appreciate this space. For a very long time Christians always seek to only put the best of everything on the outside but is never really truthful about the struggles and shortcomings they experienced. Thank you for being truly authentic. I needed this and fine the space to be a “safe space.”

We truly understand how it feels to not have a space that feels relatable and seeing Christian content that was only perfect and properly curated. We don't have any intention to add to that because it's not real. So we're sooo happy that you feel safe here and we're glad to have you as part of the family 💕 💖

Mrs.M, take your cues from your husband, if he says he is fine with you, fine with eating ramen noodles, believe him. Men are black and white, we just born with guilt( blame Eve). People/society will attempt to tell you what type of wife you should be, HOWEVER OR WHATEVER is said or how you may genuinely feel, take your cues from your beloved, as he will have to take his cues from you. All will be well, it’s you and your husband/boyfriend in this life of sin. 26 years strong with my beloved. Felt the same way, at times I still question if he couldn’t have done bette, then I hear the silent whisper of God, that I was not created to worry or to fear( it’s challenging though). You are perfectly imperfect. Keep talking, and if one day you just cannot vlog for us, well, a suh
Happy Sabbath. Keep talking, keep praying, keep loving, keep enjoying each other. Sherry-Ann, Florida

For the other perspective on the Brain drain. As someone as someone who has lived in Jamaica and Canada. I think in a lot of ways Jamaica is hard but it can be seen as easier to start a business as there is so many hoops and things you have to jump through to start anything in Canada. My perspective is that it isn’t easy and Canada is draining in my opinion. Houses are so expensive where I am. Living and life is expensive where there is the benefit of certain things being easier and more convenient. I also get tired of the weather, the people and other aspects that just are just hard to adjust to. Yes it safer here so certain aspects you don’t have to worry as Jamaica but I would be scared to live in the states and just go through normal life But it’s all depends on perspective and what you really looking for and trying to achieve.

    • @adventuresofxyz22

Perspective is very important. There are pros and cons to living in every country. It's up to the individual to decide which Pro they're willing to work with.

Some going and some coming...all a part of the cycle of life and 'global community' living. Do what you want, go where you want. You have one life to live. Many are returning to Jamaica because that's where their hearts are. But one life to live. Do what's in your heart. Every place is 'home' for someone. I'm living in the USA for almost 20 years and Jamaica is 'home' for me, even with all its inadequacies.

Let me tell you: Xaun's perspectives and Z's silliness, even in serious moments I live for it all!
On a serious note though, I feel this video... Not that everyone is gong through the same thing at the same time, but it still is relateable whether you've gone through it already or is currently gong through it! For me it is college. Having expectations of my ownself, not always tick off goals the way I expect to and then having to deal with parents expections and not meeting them. I have to try being patient with myself...Knowing deep down that results dont define me and I've putting out the best that .I can while surviving parental "bashng."

My job in Florida is very stressful because it deals with government Medicare and Medicaid verifications but one thing I can tell you is that it is a joy to me because I get to minister to all these people calling and I don't hesitate to do that and to lift up and encourage people. Sharing the Lord with the people you encounter is the most exciting thing and you be surprised how much they respond back to you positively and encourage you in minister to you too. If you can do this then you will love doing law and being a doctor for all this the sharing of the Gospel with the people that you meet. On my job because of religion in the United States you have to refrain from sometimes saying the name of Jesus or from evangelism, but you can quote the scriptures to them or just tell them what the word says because remember Jesus just said it is written and told Satan the word which he already knew and knows where to find it, but lift up and encourage people biblically and when they engage with you that's when you can just dive in and minister to them because as long as they initiate it you can dive in and they can't say anything to you because the other party initiated and encourage the conversation. If I don't praise him the rocks will cry out so we have to praise him and lift him up and Minister Jesus to the world on our jobs, and that would be the most exciting thing that will make you want to hurry to your job every day no matter how stressful and rough and busy it gets. Try it and you like it!!! The tiredness will be worth it because we are called to live a life of sacrifice and we still can't and will never be able to commit the sacrifice that Jesus did for us.

You are so young and early in your marriage, but have learned so much already. Continue to keep God as the head of your life and household, it makes s big difference. Continue to keep the same mindset and communication open. and totally transparent. You will have those tests and disappointments in life, but God always has the answers. I am pleased to hear that you did the pre-marital counseling, which is very important, especially for young people. Marriage is a serious thing, and most young couples who do not take the steps they have and are doing do not make it. This also goes for older couples, it doesn't matter the age at times, it's the mentality of the person. I have shared your story with my daughter, who is in her 30s and still looking for that special someone. Trust is a big factor for her, especially as an educated intelligent hard working person. God Bless you both 🙏
