July 23, 2024 It was so nice to watch you play and just have FUN!!! I've noticed more and more content creators are beginning to do this and I'm so glad. I don't make content but it has to be very stressful trying to make sure you put out a video that you hope will make the masses happy (and we both know you can't please everybody). Just to see you enjoying playing the game is a real treat for me. This is my favorite map for FS22 so I was doubly happy. For someone like yourself, who just enjoys playing the game, this must have felt like you were on a holiday. Not having to do anything you didn't want to do and doing exactly what you did want to do. Love watching All the different youtube channels on fs22. Played fs19 for 2 years, until fs22 was free (retired so money is tight). Finishing up Goldcrest Valley and getting ready to start either New Lands or UMRV until FS25 is free. Looking forward to all the FS25 vids that are going to inundate me in November.

Completely understand this Scroft, if you weren’t doing the farm hand then the career mode would work, nice to get a few maps in now before the new game Comes, this will even transition into the new game too

Great start to a new series, this looks like a really good map, i have watched mrsealyp map review, now with your new series will be giving it a go. A Q&A with Oxy, you cant get much better than that, I'm a big fan of his maps, they're on another level.
I'm only just watching this first episode now but, I attempted to install a water pump to fill the veg garden but for whatever reason I couldn't get it to work. Luckily I turned auto save off because I sold the pump and became a billionaire 😂
I enjoy this very much mate, thanks a lot for a good video 😊 I do agree with your point of view regards to the map it is stunning, and yes VCA is absolut the best overall and can do so much more than GPS. Looking forward to the next.
The original was the first map i played on fs22 and i had no clue what i was doing, to the point i was unloading the combine straight into the chickens coop
I wish they done this map with the baby animals mod. I loved this map but tried new maps like ballyspring and buckland as im on console. Also love calmsden. Can u add those mods to those maps like old stream and calmsden if playing on pc? I believe the way i set my old stream farm up was brilliant for practicality. The little field at the front of the house, i harvested that and then put a cow barn there for beef stock. The archway at the side of the pigs and that shed i put my bales there so the telehandler was near the bales and the cow shed so handy for mucking out and getting bales for feed or sileage.
Also love the harvester mod i have that u can change colour of the inside and outside and has some ridiculous speed horsepower and unreal capacity, it means u can set a worker on multiile fields without doing tonnes of carting the whole time.
I played this map when the smaller one released and it was a good map then, I was going to revisit the expansion but Farm Sim Brisco released Vintage Oaks which is a great map
Just as a note as far as fuel goes. When we cultivate or plant with a 95hp tractor we use about 8 gallons of diesel per hour. And that covers about an acre. The game is way under usage on fuel even on high. A 30 acre field we will re-fuel 3 or 4 times
I like the old stream farm, but the one thing that pushed me away from this one was not having the animal system like ballyspring, as a console player its the only way to have baby animals and i love to play as realistic as possible and having more animal food consumption makes it more realistic
Would be great for the density of animals plus i hope they will be grazing a pasture I'm also hoping in fs25 that the tree branch's won't go through the cab that is annoying
Scroft, have you had a look at farm SIM Briscoe's new map it's called Vintage Oaks it's based on The Oaks map but at a later point in time. I think it's a lot better.
There is problem with contracts after expansion... Im thinking to move my own tiny let's play series from The Valley the Old Farm to Old stream farm..on bottom right corner
Since nvidia done a update on the graphics drive my farming simulator game is unplayable with major frame rate drops I've taken all Mods off the game done everything I can just judders ands it's not smooth playing anymore
@Scroft Glad Beanie sorted it too, mate I know the maize plus update has caused some issues with the straw harvest mod bout the heighttypes sont know if you guys had that issues with the maize 🌽 plus

I started playing on this expansion map the day it came out. I’m really enjoying it. I hope BSM carries it over to fs25.

Hi Scroft, Love your videos. Do you happen to have a Modlist at all? You seem to know what mods work really well together.
Rumor is there is an update in the works to fix the contracts paying $0. They say it doesn't need a new save.

Fendt and massey over in france mate deutz is rare. Do get a few new hollands though

Do you have a mod list that highlights every mod that you use?
I'd like to see that too as it's not obvious which are added in mods compared to the base mod map. And if Scroft uses them they should be good mods.

Yeh thats what i love about that cow barn but wish it had a higher capacity. The bunkers are ideal being that close to the cow barn too for sileage.
I Liked the career series it was different hope it's not gone.

Did you rollback to the previous driver or switch the game to use D3D_11? D3D_11 doesn't always perform as well as the default D3D_12.
@Farmer_G. yeah had to do D3d 11 mate put it on 12 seems to not load the game . Plus I forgot to do a system restore point before hitting update

Glad you sorted it bud, beanie had the same issue with the Nvidia update she couldn’t get into the game but rolling it back worked 👍🏼
