Whenever I'm in a written conversation/debate with a theist, I always go out of my way to make sure I write your/their god.
There are two reasons for this.
    1) They know exactly which god I am speaking of. It is their interpretation or the interpretation of the individual that is being discussed's god. It's that particular description of a god.
    2) It is grammatically correct.
The first is especially important because then they can't come back somewhere in the conversation and say something like, "Well, that's not the god I believe in." No, that is the god you believe in because that's what we've been discussing this entire time. They can't get away with any backpedaling.

Wtf Oklahoma??? Thank goodness for people in government who are committed to the principles of the country -- ESPECIALLY when those people are part of a community (like a church) that might not prioritize those principles in the same way. A hero is a hero, no matter what party or religion they are in. 🇺🇲

We capitalize God the same we capitalized Mom when we use as a name for our mother. My mom… vs. Hey, Mom!
And we call the god of the Bible “God” to avoid using his name in vain. The dialogue in the movie is literally talking about “God,” that god, not gods as a concept even if they also mean the concept because the writers only consider one god.
