High fashion models are traditionally flat chested, extremely thin, extremely tall, younger ladies, who are nothing more than walking "hangers" , for these amazing, couture designers. ( Dont kill the Messenger. ) 😉 It just IS what it IS. Anything else, would be TOO DISTRACTING from showing these magnificent, hand made, couture gowns. 💖 Stunning. Breathtaking. Beautiful. 💜 If all of these models didnt behave this way, then, your focus would not be on the GOWN. I love the explanation, but if so many noticed that these models were so thin, how much attention has been lost to the models and not the dresses? I think a healthier body doesn't take away from the gown. Just an opinion. As for facial expression - eh, doesn't matter. Me extremely happy looks like that lol.

What I do know is about medical field and health, and when I can see someone's spine as they are walking back and I think about how we are a first world country, it does slightly upset me. Almost makes it seem self-inflicted. The hand made gowns are beautiful though, and I understand what you mean about the correct physique for that art form. Would a mannequin rolling down the runway do the same trick?

mbear1 the basic cut of the dresses are the same. All you need is some glitter fabric, some embellishments you stitch in while watching tv...and seriously, you can come up with a decent dress. Maybe not as gorgeous as these but u just might surprise yourself!
These designs are for the extremely rich clientele...these are likely 100's of thousands of dollars...not even for the well off bride...and one of a kind designs that are not massed produced.
Absolutely gorgeous. I loved the patterns on the sheer fabric, like colorful ice crystals that had formed on the skin. I also loved the old Hollywood glamour influence and all the beading. It may not be "original", but it's beautiful to look at.
It was all skirt, there may as well not have been a top. Really bad balance. Beautiful material but the skirt totally overwhelmed the whole thing .... Btw the "composer" needs to be forbidden to step near a computer again...ever.

Ziad Nakad so far is my favorite out of the fashion shows I have watched. Each of his dresses just exude power and confidence. And effortless elegance. I would do almost anything to wear those.
Shows like these are what I like to see, elegant and feminine dresses and models who aren't ridiculously made-up, and with simplistic hairstyles so we can focus on those beautiful gowns!
