It would be nice if you could demo how the molding fit and how to take it off and on
Great video buddy. I have a Fox body and they both have the same clips.
Thanks for dealing with the clips ,many vids deal with molding only as if your magically supposed to know how the clips went on .
Would have been nice to show how the molding goes on.
That tool bad a big difference thx for the video!!!!
You didn't show the trim being installed.
That was the on thing I was looking for.
Ya might wanna take the word "Molding" out of the title.
VERY cool - looks to be essentially the same for my '75 for E220 (Canadian E250 ;) You have an excellent teaching style and a downright mellifluous (word of the day!) voice
Thanx!
This was very helpful. Thanks so much! 66 Fairlane 390 tripower
Great video thanks for sharing!
I can't remember. I believe if you go to NPD they can tell you and they may come in a set!
I like how it's not shown how hard it is to put the trim back on lol
Лол? В России это слово начали использовать в 2017 году, я удивлён
Hi, I have a 65 mustang, the top driver side trim isn’t sitting correctly in the corner, probably just the clip but wanted to know can I just remove that half piece or do I need to remove the whole top piece? Thanks
is the clip replacement the same on a 1965 Mustang? The parts companies are selling screws to hold the clips in place.
I was waiting to see the molding go on but nope you skipped right over it. Not cool.
Thanks!!!!!! great video...
did you use the original molding or buy a reproduction ones? if reproduction ones, what brand did you use and was the fit right?
thanks for the video. great.
Sorry Stuart, i'm a little slow and cant get it right. Those clips are
meant to hold the gasket-window in place or to hold the molding , or
both ? Once you've installed the glass, then hitting the molding in
place (pressure) is what it locks the clips? Thnx Stuart
+Perkins Diesel I believe just to hold the molding! I did not change the gasket on the window. I removed these and replace them as you can see with the gasket still in place. Thanks
Do you remember how many clips there are? I need to do this project and want to order the amount I need ahead of time.
frankenstein background music..... lol
