Why I'm selling my Louis Vuitton Speedy B 35

- The Speedy B 35 is a beautiful bag, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Watch to find out why.
One thing to add that didn't occur to me when I was filming and editing this video - I think part of my issue with the bag caving in on itself has to do with the fact that I primarily used it as a short shoulder bag. A shorter strap would naturally bring the sides/ends together more than a longer strap, making it more prone to caving in the middle. Thus, those who want to use this primarily as a long shoulder, crossbody, or hand-carry bag may not have that same issue.
I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a 😍Niceshopx😍 and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's very annoying. one time a woman walked up to me and actually asked me if my bag was "real". after spending almost 2K on a bag and being asked that question was so offensive i stopped carrying them. People look more at the person carrying the bag and assume wrongly whether is real or fake. it is extremely annoying
A bag shaper/Organizer helps loads! I l love my Speedy 35, but I wouldn't like it as much without the organizing shaper!

Get the 30, all the issues you're mentioning just don't exist with the 30 because it holds Its structure better. Something I did enjoy about the 30 was how well it kept its shape without the need for shapers or inserts.

I am 5,2 as well and I never close my 35, it’s big so my stuff is save, 35 is not meant for crossbody for short gril.

I think the 25 would be more your vibe im 5'7 and i have a speedy b25 and speedy b30. My favorite is the 25. Hope you find something you love
I agree with everything you said ,I just returned mine . The zippers drove me nuts and he strap it looked awful.
Have you ever considered punching more holes to the strap to make it shorter thnx for sharing
I have a 35B mon monogram. It’s got my custom stuff done. I do love it tho but wasn’t sure which I wanted best..welp got 35B.
The mon monogram is so fabulous! Honestly, I thought I would love the Speedy 35B and was really surprised to find it didn't work for me. I still think it's a great, beautiful bag though, and I'm happy it works for so many others! I'm glad you love yours!

I wish LV made more large bags for shoulder carry. The Artsy and the Neverfull are both uncomfortable on the shoulder. They seem to have gotten away from their large bags.

Question. It seems that most of the issues are with the Bandouliere? So aside from that, if you would have hypothetically had the CLASSIC speedy 35 would you prefer that size or still the 30? I hope that makes sense ☺️ My conflict is on the size alone. I know for sure I want the classic but I’m just torn on weather or not i should go for that extra space.
Yes, most of my issues were with the strap, but I think even if I had the classic version, I would prefer the 30. What I've realized is that, for me, while I love a big bag (and I really love a big bag!), since I carry so much, I very much prefer my big bags to be able to be shoulder-carry (comfortably!). The is a sized just right for me that I can comfortably hand-carry it, but the 35 is just too big for me to comfortably hand-carry. That being said, hand-carry isn't my carrying option of choice, so someone who regularly hand-carries their bag may feel differently.
alexiajean The 35 is good for a work bag that you can put gym gear in or pop to the supermarket after work and throw a few things in. I have the 35 and if you use a felt handbag organiser you can avoid the issue of the bag folding in on itself, and cracking around the zip. The bag is 35 cm so physics will show without it being full or alternatively without a felt insert, it has to fold inwards because it's being pulled higher at either end of the bag by the straps whilst quite empty. So get the 35 if you need a large bag and use an insert and you should be fine. If you happen to be too short for the strap get an alternative strap from Louis Vuitton or another shop. I bought on on eBay just to mix it up for £4.99 an got more compliments on it than the Louis strap. I hope that helps.

Yes, unfortunately, the strap ended up being a big con for me. I'm still half-tempted to get the Speedy B in a smaller size, but this experience has me really holding back on that!

I'm sorry you've been having issues with it as well. It really stinks when a bag doesn't work out for us. If you're finding it troublesome to use and/or you're not reaching for it as a result of the problems you have with it, have you considered selling it? I feel so much better - relieved even! - after letting it go!

Obviously most people just wanted a LV. There are plenty of beautiful shoulder bags at different brands, cheaper, more durable and more stylish available on luxury market. You just want the LV as a big Logo. To be honest, I have a few LV and found that they're not classy or beautiful. My daughter hate them. Every time we go out she begs me not to carry a LV nor a Gucci, the two worst Logo she try to stay off. The reason I bought them because of the name to show off, and because they are light to carry on a trip or for work that I bring a lot with me every day. Mainly to show off to people around. But honestly they are plain and boring. The same thing over and over. Please use your LV canvas anywhere else but Paris! Local in Paris, French I meant don't wear logo canvas. For them it's vulgar, no style and show off and French people hate show off. So no LV canvas in Paris. You don't want to look weird. FYI in LV stores in Paris all shoppers are mostly Chinese or other Asians. I barely seen any Caucasians shop there. If you shop in Paris to save the tax money then it's a good idea but bring it home to use, do not use in Paris. Another thing, just let you know the 35 speedy is meant to hand carry, not shoulder bag. You got to use things in a correct way. It's not a purse, it's a travel bag.
