Vik from RDBLA was the one that did that Satin Chrome Wrap on his Uris. They also figured out a way to not have that line down the middle of the hood. They said something about putting the line to the side. Hexis, shouldve been made bigger sizes on their chrome wraps so it won't be a struggle to install.
Oh yeah it was vik, he had them send a whole new roll because it was so defective and we had the same problem it was the roll that was messed up, but yeah I’m going to go back to gloss chrome I can deal with the finish better than satin.
@@3DThaRapstar I'm going to use this wrap for my car (Roofrails and window frame) in alu/satin chroom look. Will the quality of this hexis wrap ok? Or will the chrome color wear off after a year?
@@frederikdhauwers6409 what sucks is they say it only last a year but if you ceramic coat it I think you can get 2 or 3 years easy, Avery satin chrome cost a little more and last longer but it’s like a grand more expensive
It was fresh, not even a year. I messed it up tho because it was my fault,I would use some gloss cleaners at times. But I just think the satin and matte looks good but it's not for me because cleaning wise I'm just used to shine or gloss
I wonder if there''s Satin chrome Paint that looks good as that Chrome Wrap by Hexis? I saw a video of a dude using a brand new gloss chrome paint spray that give the car a mirror reflection effect like the gloss chrome wraps do, but I wonder if you put a satin PPF over the gloss chrome paint job, will it look like the Hexis satin chrome wrap?
Pretty solid roughly around 4 years, just don’t make the mistake I did, I was cleaning it with the wrong products and it damaged the wrap like you can see the cleaning print, clean it once a week and also hand wash, and don’t put like products that make it shine etc,
Yeah just soap and water, typically any soap just nothing harsh, you can clean it at car wash places also just avoid the brush, and chemical guys has a vinyl cleaner on their site for quick touch ups, but I would avoid using products that’s how I messed mine up, I would use gloss or matte cleaner but after a while I would see the cleaning marks from me cleaning the car with the product stuck into the finish, so I would stick too washing it once a week with hand wash soap and water
Well I was saying that’s if you have a relationship with the wrap people, like got multiple wraps done before but yes it’s on average from 7-9k where I’m at, but 5k is like a standard start, lots of vinyl places get over because the wrap itself is only 2.5k
And I made a newer video talking about the 7 things to look out for if you are planning to get a chrome wrap, but shop cost does vary, someone that’s independent will charge you lesser than a shop will
I am looking to do red satin chrome and got tons of quotes. The cheapest one I got was $3500 for Hexis. Gotta find someone who is independent ( as long as his work is good )
Wrapping my e92 m3 this color..looks really good.

Love your wheels, can you tell me the specs to look them up please, very unique S550, congrats!!
How many months or years was your car rapped at this time?

Perfect choice!! Do you think it goes well with red roof- e class cabrio 2016
Yes that would be a sick combo
Makes sense and good choice. Definitely see the flip-flop effect. Stay away from dat real until you get dat 2 door gt with da wing
I wanted a gts 2 door but I got in one and it’s small inside kind of gives me claustrophobic vibes
@@3DThaRapstar tru indeed, but the rarely seen factor is thru da roof

Yeah bro that would look nice if they do have that
How long is the durability on this?

As far as I know installing ceramic coating on the satin chrome wrap will protect your wrap.
Yes it will, the problem I had was installer problem , the film was so thick and does not stretch
I’m putting this on the Lexus 350 F sport
That a be nice
I like your rims wrap is tight! 916😎
💯
$5k .... I got quoted between $9k - $12k for Helix Satin Red Chrome

When you get a wrap you also should get PPF.. that’ll help wit the scratches and debris🎯🎯🎯
I can’t tho ceramic coat is enough for me, to ppf the whole car is a lot of money like 5-10k from what I’m hearing
*They have specific Car wash and spray wax for satin finishes. You should have also ceramic coated it after install*
I had ceramic coat just the satin is not for me I'm just horrible at it
To me it looks more like it's been anodised. Not chrome satin. Looks nice though.
Maybe wash your car
Maybe
