I have an audi R8 2021, im in love with this hood. what manufacture is it from my i ask? im also planning on wrapping it in this Matte chrome black. so sick.
You'll have to check with the owner as far as the manufacturer of the hood, if you message @thediamondautosalon on Instagram they can confirm the brand of hood for you.
In short, yes. PPF is 2-3x thicker than vinyl, so it's a much different material to work with. It also is a wet application vs. a dry application with vinyl.
Nice product. You forgot to mention that the top coat wears out anywhere from several months to a couple of years depending on usage. Looking forward to picking some up either way and reviewing it.
Hi CK Wraps! Thanks for watching we enjoy your content ourselves. The longevity of the topcoat hydrophobics and self-healing properties are going to be variable based on how the vehicle is used and maintained and that is absolutely important to know! In our experience, we get 3-4 years of strong hydrophobics and are seeing the self-healing perform beyond that. Our 10-year warranty covers any manufacturing defects, delamination, cracking or yellowing but not the topcoat performance. Let us know what you think once you get hands-on!
@@stekusa 3-4 years is a great duration for the top coat. Longer than anything else I've heard of. Very excited to see how this film is and the process involved in install. Feel free to reach out to me if you ever want to.
Hello, and thanks for your interest in DYNOchrome. We do not currently have an estimated restock date for this product. Keep an eye on our socials, though; we'll be sure to announce when we do!
Our DYNOchrome films are currently unavailable while nuances of their full-scale production are ironed out, and we can be fully confident in their performance and quality. At this time, we do not currently have an estimated in-stock date.
Hello, yes, you can apply a ceramic coating on top of our paint protection films. It is worth noting that our films do have a ceramic-infused top coat as well.

Hi, thank you for your interest! We are responsible for the USA only and believe Spandex handles STEK in your region, if you contact our global headquarters at www.stekautomotive.com they can help confirm and connect you to your local supplier.
Good question! That area had yet to fully cure; a couple weeks after installation, it had gone away, meaning the trapped moisture had a chance to evaporate. The adhesive had fully set, which is an expected wait time for wet application paint protection films!
In this demonstration we were showing the top coat and it’s self healing capability rather than the impact resistance. The underlying surface is protected in both cases as the simulated damage did not penetrate either film! We’ll make sure to pull the film back in future demonstrations to make that more clear. Thank you for the feedback @devinrogers6676 !
Such a professional presentation!
Thank you!

@@stekusa oh ok thank you so much! Also i got a question, ive never done colored PPF is it harder to wrap because it is definitely way thicker?

Would love to see the DYNOchrome mattes in rose gold, gold, and smoke gold.
Hi Austin, thanks for your interest in our DYNOchrome PPF! We'll be sure to pass that along to the product development team.

Just 6 month later and they stopped selling and producing it, cause it had only issues. Edges became blue colored etc.
@@SamMakesMoviesTVoh thats too bad.
That looks awesome
Thank you!
Is this still unavailable pending quality concerns? Getting a vehicle next month that I had been hoping to put this on.

Does this same exact color come in vinyl wraps if yes whats it called
Hello and thanks for watching! We do not offer this product in a vinyl option. All of our Fashion Film's are true PPF's
@@stekusahey whats the name of the vinyl at 2:20
We're unsure of the brand or name on that vinyl, as it was a sample we had lying around and just used it for demonstration purposes.
Hi, How I can Shop it for Spain? Many Thanks!

@STEK USA, could you share video/photos of a car fully wrapped into DYNOchrome blue matte?
We'll be shooting a DYNOchrome Blue Matte install next week and the content should be out shortly after that!
@@stekusa 3 weeks past, looking forward
hell yeah
Thanks for watching!
I need this wrap 😩
We agree!
Is it dazzling under bright sunlight?
You know it! The DYNOchrome films look good in any light, but when the sun hit's it just right it's quite stunning
@@stekusa oh sorry I meant does the chrome get very bright under direct sunlight so as to bother other drivers? Thanks!
Got it, sorry for the confusion! In our experience we haven't found it to be overly distracting out on the road.

👍👍👍👏
Not enough shots of the car outside. Camera going too fast and too short. You need to show more of the final effect.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll keep that in mind for future videos.
Sweeting wrap but I’m sure it’s super expensive
Shops are out here charging anywhere from $12-18k with full install.
