    simply if you want to do the best one inch punch,
    just use much muscles as needed and time it quickly

    I always thought that the One Inch Punch was a Wing Chun move.

      It is - but when you're using break-away boards for people who don't know the difference, it doesn't matter if your form is trash and the technique is completely wrong.

    His fist orientation is different in the explanation compared to when he actually hits the board.

      You're exactly right. This is because he has no idea what he's doing. That's a break-away board - the kind used for movies.

    Not really turn the hip, but perform a counterclockwise whipping movement - which is only taught at brown belt or shodan level...

      I'm not a specialist but Id start by learning simple self defense techniques then learn how to karate chop things I'd first say you should try karate chopping popsicle sticks and remember the key is the get your adrenaline flowing and endure and invision going through the sticks

    Also mix jkd stance footwork so more power is to turn the feet at the back foot just pivot the very back foot front.

    Hay muchas formas correctas de hacer algo, la gente se queja de no ver un giro de muñeca como el que el enseña a hacer, pero si tu muñecha está bien hubicada entonces eso es suficiente, muchas formas de tener un mismo resultado un golpe de 1 pulgada es una habilidad abquirida más no una habilidad que te haga mejor artista marcial, al igual que romper rocas o ladrillos, son solo demostraciones y formas de medir que tanto progresamos, pero las artes marciales no tienen la prioridad de romper cosas, el golpe que hizo este chico está bien, porque logró el resultado que quería no se lastimó y es capaz de realizar la técnica, muchas formas de hacer una misma cosa, y todas las que den un buen resultado son correctas como dijo funakoshi, el espíritu siempre será mayor que la técnica, siempre hay que seguir practicando y perfeccionando la técnica, pero nunca olvidemos que la técnica no tiene porqué ser perfecta en un combate, porque difícilmente lo será
