All Might is 7’3 in that form
It's awesome to see that you're starting to review Revo again. I think their cuts aren't worth it yet on most of their figures, but their Black Panther, Flash, Moon Knight, and Agent Venom are definitely worth it and show signs of improvement. They are also about to release a Ryu Hayabusa, which looks insane.
I think McFarlane’s version of this guy was one of their best figures.
Was it really?
@@AnthonysCustoms in my opinion, yeah. I’d take it over this Revoltech.
The agent venom revo looks pretty cool and well hidden with their articulation too, hope some sponsor gives you that one someday
A friend or fan is going to have to send that to him. That thing is sold out everywhere.
U would think Revoltech would have All Mights hair articulate too.
Also, if rumors are true what do you think about Jada getting the MK line?
Oh snap Jada is getting the mk line?
@@Cirroyt there were rumors that's all. Don't know how true it is.
Superb review as always Anthony
Try get your hands on Agent Venom...it's good IMO at least haha
Awesome review, Anthony. Despite the figure’s flaws in anatomical sculpt breakage and disfigurement, it is still leagues better than McFarlane Toys’ version of All Might.
Agreed. Despite the segmentation, this is still the best looking and most accurately muscled All Might we have to date. I don't regret my purchase.
I'm a sucker for the revoltech style, like yeah, the cuts may be ugly and the articulation is not very well hidden, but i just love them haha.
Also i think theyre a good bank for your buck, tons of articulation and accessories for the same price as a regular import figure that usually don't have as much stuff
A bit late, but happy to see this review 🙏
Thanks for reviewing other toy company figures
Are you not a regular to his channel? he reviews other toy company figures all the time..
He's reviewed like hundreds of Marvel Legends lol
@@MetalCooler_1000 Because Legends has more releases overall per year when compared to other companies. Of course he's going to be mostly reviewing Legends.
I think revoltech really works for my hero academia since the anime is hyper stylized anyway.
All Might is 7'3".
He needed more effect parts for some awesome smashing imo
What kind of effects would you have? Most of the stuff he does would be diarama sets
My Hero is so fire. The core fans make it hard to claim being a fan but regardless it is.
I got one and thare are 24 left
He's inscale enough, All Might is much larger than normal. I love articulation but yeah, 50/50. I never liked these kind of Revoltech joints but when I see people take photos of them that know what they're doing it's quite incredible.
I'm gonna agree with the articulation cuts not justifying the breakage of the sculpt here. I never liked the way they did the huge shoulder/lats cuts on All might, and the way they did the ankles, while giving them extreme range, exposes so much of the joints that he can be a bit unstable without a stand. I do love the figure, but it may be more so that it's just the best we have of him so far in the scale. I was waiting for a Figma but seems they aren't making anymore. Maybe S.H.Figuarts, Jada, or some other line can provide a better articulation/sculpt balance in the future. The Bandai Anime heroes one isn't /terrible/ for the price, but it is definitely on the lower end of things.
The neck setup is unfortunate. The size of his traps and the way the articulation is engineered make it look like that one meme in the bodybuilding scene - a skinny guy piloting a much more muscular body.
Which isn't too bad considering All Might's current status in the story, but it's not good for this look.
I definitely need to watch my hero acedemia but I'm still stuck watching Naruti's daughter show Burrito!😅 also you should review the new revoltech spider man 2.0
I like em static in a box unopened w a big window so I can stare at it until I pack it away in a plastic bin years later and never fully get to enjoy it.
Bro thats kinda sad
I idle at sad
the lack if shading on this figure in particular is a huge letdown, as it is part of the character signature look. If this one was Mafex I would wait for the guaranteed repaint, does anyone know if Revoltech does that? I don't have many Revo figures aside from Wolverine and Venom, and I'm looking forward for Ryu Hayabusa
There’s a version of this figure with shinier colors. I believe that’s the only repaint they’ve done for the MHA line
Glad you’re starting to review more Revoltech. Would love to hear your thoughts on the AY Moon Knight and Black Panther. They’re both incredible imo
I’m definitely going to get this
This is why I love and trust your reviews. You’re objective and experienced.
Glad you like them!
Lol just ordered it and now I know not to touch the hair. Thanks for the review!
His name is All Might… he’s a monster compared to regular people
I'm not a big fan of the way they did the joints on All Might
Idk just McFarlane all might looks better to me
You move the head using the hair??😱 Don't use small parts to move big parts. That's one of the basic rules😅 small parts a plastic are weak. Good review
I wasn't using the hair. I was just touching it a bit. It's kinda unavoidable given the head size and hair design.
We demand more Naruti figures
Wasn't expecting you to review this
hes the correct height and love ur vid
thanks
Well ... the hair seems to be a common QC issue, seeing as mine from Nin-Nin-Game came brittle out the box, too.
Revoltech has definitely come a long way, though, since this Almight's release; their mix of aesthetic + articulation has gotten better.
It would be interesting to see a rendition from another company because, like, literally no one carries the My Hero IP. And between this and the McFarlane ... THIS! THIS 100 million-billion-trillion percent! It's no contest. If you just ... want the character for cheap? Sure. But you're hard pressed to find a better articulated Almight if you're a MHA fan because no one else has the license 💀💀💀
I know the reason why they sent you All Might, My Hero Academia figures don’t sell as good as Yamaguchi Marvel and DC figures. I really like all of the figures from this line, All Might is great but I wish they included more effect parts like for Endeavor.
They sell great on import sites bc it’s cheaper lol
I asked for it specifically because viewers have asked me to review.
@@AnthonysCustoms I just assumed they gave you All Might specifically because he's one of older My Hero Academia figures and he is still in stock on BBTS. People really don't know what they miss not getting figures from this line. If you'll get a chance to get other Amazing Yamaguchi MHA figures please do reviews of them, I would love to hear your opinion, each of them is great but not without issues.
I love mine
I bought him to use for a custom dbz ssj broly. I’m hoping I can make it work out as to me he doesn’t look to bad. I want to use Thor’s arms and pop it onto the all might
50/50 tbh
All-Might is a tall dude, around 7 or 8 ish feet tall. This is a character I love, but I just cannot get over the figure's shoulders and the cuts. I have heard he is still a bit loose when compared to newer Revoltech figures. I got their Arkham Knight and Agent Venom and those are great in terms of looks and quality. Also, you should definitely include the hair breaking into the grade. That is poor design right there.
Not a fan of yamaguchi aesthetics at all actually. I like their recent Catwoman and three Arkham Knight figures, but other than that definitely not my cup of tea. I think Jada makes a perfect combination of mostly all articulation you really need and really good aesthetics. And for those characters who don't need much movement I'm perfectly fine with what Neca provides considering how visually pleasing they are.
Btw hope you will review Yamaguchi Catwoman, she's nice.
Accurate on the height when scaling him against Marvel Legends or other 1/12 6 in figures. I take articulation over appearance. If I'm paying that kinda' money ($80+) posing is everything. Otherwise I'd just get a statue if it was looks.
I prefer aesthetic over function tbh… if a company is going to whine and complain about budget, I’d rather have a figure that looks good than functions well. But Im not a photographer tho. I will put it in a pose that looks good for what it can do and stick it on the shelf. Thats just me tho. Probably wrong. But oh well, wrong about lots of things.
I think revoltech just needs to work on their upper body and hide the joints better there, because their bottom torso is amazing. Their legs system is brilliant where it look like pants or armored pants without large gaps like ML, while achieving fantastic forward and backward range, perfect spread, and their single knee hinge system is by far the most natural bending knee system I’ve seen on action figures while keeping the Quads to Shin ratio correct.
I prefer a well articulated figure as long as using the articulation doesn’t break the characters anatomy to much. I only like Mech figures from Revoltech their system just doesn’t work for humans.
I only have one so far, Moon Knight, a great piece. Those crazy joints are not as noticeable as most. Even though I'm not too much of a fan of this company, I was thinking of getting another, just one or two more.
Anthony, can you review Revoltech Catwoman? I think for their female figures, its not as terrible looking like the males figure
My first revoltech all mights arm peg broke 💔 BBTS couldnt replace him because he was sold out, luckily he got a rerelease so i got another
I left this comment on the Thor review: Be mindful of articulation but not at the expense of the aesthetic. Best to look for a balance, a nice, 50-50 happy medium (aka sweet spot).
Also, Anthony, I reckon you will undoubtedly enjoy ‘My Hero Academia’; it is a bloody fantastic anime, with many interesting characters, clever writing, depth, emotion, action, drama and so much more! Brilliant anime! I am looking forward to seeing the final seventh season.
Thank you for the cracking review, my friend!
Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧🇮🇹
Great articulation but the shoulders NEVER need to be that bad. That inside shoulder looks terrible and the way the thighs look when doing a split is just unnecessary.
I like a balance between aesthetic and articulations, but if a gotta choose, I go with the articulations, I kinda hate the Super 7 that looks good but got 2000's joints.
he is supposed to be very big in his muscle form. apparently 7'4"
“If you bend it further, you can put your finger in his arm”
Haha good one, i like the review!
I'm with you, depends on the character. But i used to buy alot of revoltech because they used to be so affordable.
the spiderman v2 revoltech is the best revoltech available right now in my opinion.
The sesign of shoulder area on Amazing yamaguchi is a mess. They carved out to much
I prefer that prefect balance of great articulation and sculpt and Mafex is one of the best in that regard. Speaking of Mafex it would be great to see u review the Mafex Jim Lee Magneto. The BEST Magneto IMO.
I think the only thing that revo should change is the arm articulation
check Catwoman revoltech
Any upcoming videos on the new basement/studio?
yes. soon-ish
bruh i was watching a "all politicial idealogies" video and the chapters are still on my screen.
Started talking about his dash effects and the chapter was called fascism😂
Lol
Mine broke in the same spot as soon as I opened it 😭
are you planning on reviewing revoltech spidey 2.0 or agent venom?
Don't know
I haven’t pulled the trigger on any of them due to the gaps and stylization. I’ve come close but don’t think I ever will. (Hawks looks good)
You definitely should at least give the line a try. Aizawa looks like the least problematic one out of the bunch so I’d say try him to see how the line is.
If you’re going to try one all might or endeavor. Endeavor 🔥
That's hilarious that you're reviewing this now, I just finished tightening the joints on my 1st release one
thats actually perfect you said that, ive been looking for so long for someone else who has a first release that tightened their joints cuz i need to do my all might and i have no clue what to do. any tips??
@@justinpacheco540 I got some Water-Based Ultimate Polyurethane, Half Pint, Satin Finish along with some applicator bottles off of amazon. Came out to be a little over $20 and now All Might's ankles can actually handle his own weight.
@@justinpacheco540 I picked some water based polyurathane, a half pint size and some applicator bottles from amazon. Poured the liquid poly into the applicator bottle and used that to drip into the ball joints and hinges, worked it around into the joints and gave it like an hour to set, but you can feel the resistance build up pretty quickly. It came out to like a little over $20 and I barely used ANY of it so you'll be set for years.
How do you do that lol
@@justinpacheco540 I got some water based polyurathane, satin finish in a half pint sized and some applicator bottles, the ones I got does about 30ml. Just put the polyurathane, straight from the can (make sure to mix it first) then fill the applicator bottle. I got everything from amazon for a little over $20 but you'll have to have a needle handy to unclog it after you apply. It flows pretty nice when you work it in the joint and easy to wipe off the excess/apply more if needed. I ended up tightening up all of my other loose figures and had to reapply to All Might's arms but they're tight enough now.
Shout outs to the homies at BBTS🥺
Revoltech joints are ugly as sin, its always ruined their figures for me, which is a bummer because this guy looks like he's well proportioned for the comic book style body type that its supposed to be.
I can’t justify buying a Revoltech figure. I just don’t care for their style.
A balance of articulation and esthetic is preferable but the esthetic is probably most important to me as I can usually find an acceptable pose to match the character
