Holy shit, the production quality of this is amazing. Sitting on my couch I got the feeling I was in Finland enjoying that amazing nature... Thanks guys!
I kept thinking "what a nice looking pla... wait I live here dammit!" 😄. It's sometimes hard to see the forest for the trees, certainly made me psyched for the spring season. Top quality 👌.
This video gives Finland the respect it never asked, but always deserved. Also shows what one of a kind visionary Nalle is in the climbing world. Huge thanks for this high quality video, I humbly ask for more as soon as possible
Thank you for showcasing the finnish bouldering. Your videos have been the best of quality in all of the internet for so long. Keep up the good work man.
Too often climbing content focuses entirely on the hardest climbs and purely the process of projecting and the try-hard but for me climbing is about beauty - the beauty of the rock, the location, the friends you're with... Obviously just focusing on Aidan on Burden would have been the way to get the most views but thanks for showing off all aspects of this place and the trip. More of this!
The video quality, the dynamic of the two and the soundtrack are breathtaking! Sometimes I really have the feeling that pro climbing videos display a whole lot of suffering/self deprecation and anger - which is in the heat of the moment very understandable. But seeing more gentle people moving up the climbs is such a nice change of pace
This is so weird. You see super high level performance here, but the video is so soothing at the same time. Looks like you took your time with the pace and the music here and I love it, just thank you So eager so see the next part
it's reaaaalllly satisfying to finally watch climbing vids that aren't trashed by gansta rap or hip hop crapping all over it, along with all the obligatory tourette's-level "c'mawnnn"s, "niiiice" or "lets fucking go"s that's way too common now. Thanks guys, quality stuff and actually is "mellow"...unlike other channels ;)
I usually don't comment on RUclips videos but the appreciation and love you guys show for nature and the environment in addition to the absolute insane bouldering and the quality of this video just gave me goose bumps throughout the entire video. Easily one of the best productions I've seen on RUclips. If only all pro athletes could care as much for our planet. Keep up the amazing work and thanks a lot
Absolutely incredible. So beautifully shot and edited, the interviews with Jim and Aiden add a huge amount as well. You're videos have come on so much man, keep it up!
What a great Episode. Can't wait for the next one. Nice little treat before Christmas. Wish all of the wedge climbing team and the Chat here nice Holidays. Greets from germany 😁
Gave it an extra like for the lovely mushroom footage. Then gave it a third like because apparently hitting the like button twice is counterproductive.
Brilliant video again. I’m intrigued to see how Burden comes along. I’m also intrigued by the fact that sometimes Aidan seems to be a curious cross between Michelangelo’s David and Mr Bean 🙂
Wow, what a film! Beautiful cinematography, cool music and very fitting voiceovers. Awesome editing to capture the small nuances around the climbing itself. Such a pleasure to watch ❤
Thank you for this love letter to my home country. The quality of production is unbelievable, including the storytelling and the pacing. I'd love you to come back in the summer, and try Punkaharju dws in Lake Saimaa. Nalle wrote that Kesäturkki 8c is the best dws route he's climbed. It starts from a sauna raft and is about 16m high/long.
Psyyyyyched, and chilled too. Had to wait a bit to watch it to make sure I had enough tine to just chill and enjoy (same for Tom's Hump of Trouble video). Frothing now, while the storm is howling outside...
Genuinely amazing video to watch. Storytelling and stylistic nuances of this channel are wonderful. Keep creating these gems please. Congrats to all involved in the film.
Im normally bored with bouldering videos after 3 minutes, but I thoroughly enjoyed this to the point of thinking os probably the best I've watched to date. The production, music, script... It's sll so class. None of that "yeah bro! Sick dude! Fucking send, yeah!" kind of abnoxious nonesense
I didn't think it was possible, but you've outdone yourself here Sam, absolutely beautiful video! The combined send shots on Opa with the piano music might be my favourite sequence in a climbing video. Just beautiful. Merry Christmas to you all, looking forward to the next Finland episode and beyond!
Looking forward to this beautiful series Its always a blessing to watch your videos and it blows my mind how wonderful the film-making is in every single wedge video
Great work again guys!!! The filmmaking somehow always gets better and better... loved the music choices as well... Would love to see you take this type of filmmaking over to Flatanger with Jim... try and convince him to go again ;)
Great to see this :) Spending Christmas in Finland right now and it's amazing to see the place get some proper attention. Props for the foraging by the way! Local classic, we do it every summer.. But yeah great video. The shots, the story. Really well made guys, keen to see more! Merry xmas!
By far your best video yet although I’m a Finn and probably biased :D but still, beautiful photography and the “story” was incorporated well into the video. Keep it up!
Kept a smile on my face the whole time! Great to see you explore other areas than bourden as well and can't wait for the future episodes! Grades are out of my league but I'm playing bingo with few of hard ones I know. No bingo yet =)
It's amazing what kind of production quality you're putting out, cheers! Also, I quite sympathize with Jim - I had exactly the same "kchrrhhrr" (imagine it as random throaty tearing sounds) in my hamstring a few years back and while it doesn't necessarily hurt, you can't really pull on it either. Looking forward to the p.2!
It seems to be the general consensus in the comments but i’d still like to add to it: This is one incredibly well done climbing video. So enjoyable! And such good story telling AND climbing.
The music, the photography, the edit. Everything is on point, it's an absolut masterclass to watch. Love the vibe like always, can't wait for the next video ;) !
Amazing video! Good luck with your projects for 2024! (Greedy request: Ep 2 had music credits, any chance for that for ep1 as well? Sorry if it is already posted and I am blind)
Thanks for the epic video! Big respect for appreciating the Finnish nature 🌲 and all the incredible beautiful boulders here. Welcome to climb also to Western Finland. We have really epic lines and places here... (also world class + unique crack climbing crag called Kustavi) Some Finnish climbing in our RUclips channel if interested! 🗿🧗

Holy shit, the production quality of this is amazing. Sitting on my couch I got the feeling I was in Finland enjoying that amazing nature... Thanks guys!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😁
This channel really punches above its weight class. Hopefully the subscriber # grows exponentially in turn.
Jim's enthusiasm for the place is so contagious!
And the photography is so superb it almost makes you wanna cry.
Thanks so much!
I kept thinking "what a nice looking pla... wait I live here dammit!" 😄. It's sometimes hard to see the forest for the trees, certainly made me psyched for the spring season. Top quality 👌.
Thanks! Haha it's definitely true. I get like that with places in the UK too. Sometimes it's good to see these places from another perspective 💪
This video gives Finland the respect it never asked, but always deserved. Also shows what one of a kind visionary Nalle is in the climbing world. Huge thanks for this high quality video, I humbly ask for more as soon as possible
Thanks so much, more on the way!
Aidan: I think this is the best crag experience that I've had in a while
Jim: mushrooms
😅
The evolution of this channels production quality is exponential at this point. So incredible to watch, well done man!
Thanks so much!
Poor Jim😢I hope he recover soon!
We need pt.2 quickly! Such a good video!
Thanks! It's on the way 💪
Welcome to Finland! 🥰 Maybe we will meet at Burden again in next spring? 😉
Thanks! Maybe... 💪💪

LNL, my favorite
It's hilarious how far ahead wedge is compered to every other climbing channel. (love the new aspect ratio)
Much appreciated 💪💪
that interview shot of jim in the trees 🤌🤌
Thanks! Happy with that one 👌
Thank you for showcasing the finnish bouldering. Your videos have been the best of quality in all of the internet for so long. Keep up the good work man.
Thanks so much, glad you liked it!
This seems one worth watching on my actual TV!
The shot of Shari might be one of my favourite shots of yours
Thanks! We were so lucky with the light that evening 👌
Enjoyed that so, so much. Beautiful bit of filming with some top blokes.
Finland looks first class, if completely out my league!
Thanks Mark!

Thanks! I'm glad it inspired you 😁
The quality of the video and cinematography is amazing, cheers lads
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice work big lad
Cheers pal!
young people having fun. the essence of the sport
Thanks! I was a bit worried that people would only be interested in burden, I'm glad that's not the case 😁
Thanks for the kind words, it's much appreciated 😁
Finland have tons of beatifull lines and broplems.

So glad I found this channel. To second everyone in the comments, sublime photography and editing!
Thanks so much! It's really appreciated 😁
I love these dudes. Jim and Aidan seem like legit good dudes who aren’t at all full of themselves.
Thanks!
