Need more people like yourself and Lord Botham standing up to mainstream media.
Mulgrave was a hell of an estate in its day! Beach drive certainly was unique
Your mate Ian is a great spokesman for the countryside and shooting sports in general and I enjoyed listening to him. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching again Kelly👌
A great film, Dave. There was a great article by Lord Botham in the Telegraph today. Both of you are great ambassadors for the people who live and work in the countryside and for those of us who enjoy our country pursuits. Thank you, both.
Thanks for your nice comments they are much appreciated and i do agree with your views above with reference to Lord Botham - i am not in the same league but i do try to do the best for our sports👌
what a beautifully filmed video, lovely to hear someone like lord Botham express his views on the countryside expressed so eloquently, I still cannot understand how the RSPB can get away with misleading people.
he speaks from the Heart👍
Cracking film Dave. Hopefully we can all enjoy some game shooting next season, but for now I will enjoy watching your films. One thing I really hope for in these difficult times is the shooting community shows to people, government and anti's that despite our shooting was disrupted and even not happening due to covid restrictions we still put the hard work in looking after the game birds on the shoot. But not only the game birds, all the wildlife and countryside that depends on the hard work of Game keepers, land managers and everyone else who takes part in looking after the country side. So despite the impact on our sport, our backs were not turned on the environment we enjoy, people were still out looking after it. Anyway Dave, stay safe and let's enjoy some shooting later this year.
Too right Adrian could not have put it any better myself👌👌👌
As a 16 yearold clayshooter i love watching these videos
Thanks Harry i am pleased you are enjoying the films
Great to see some of your older films back.
Thanks Martin

@@DaveCarrieShooting we all have out good and bad days
Hi Dave hope you and family are all well in new lockdown. All ok my end ,you made me smile having an off day (had to keep em under 60 yards lol). It's a pleasure to watch you shoot the whole videos from start to finish are so atmospheric .The places you visit are stunning but I love how you mix no elitism or narcy ways from beaters to pickers up the keeper teams fellow guns just willing to chat.Lets hope Dave the current horizon changes for a better one.Who knows could this be the season I'm well enough to have my first partridge day with my beloved .410 fingers crossed. All the best kind regards and Happy New Year to all.Tony Ashton
Thanks Tony and i am very pleased to hear from you! i will keep my fingers crossed that you get out with the little 410🤞🤞🤞
@@DaveCarrieShooting cheers Dave all the best .Tony
I always enjoy your videos but this is the best yet. It shows that birds win more often than not, which must better for shooting than the alternative.
they certainly beat the guns on this day
Just love your films great ambassador for our sport thank you 👍👍
Thanks Steven
Thanks for posting Dave. Here's to the return of happier timers.
Happier Days will follow Don that's for sure
The good old days, miss them. Happy New Year Dave
Proper days Mike and Happy new year back👌
Well done Dave and some good points raised with regards to the countryside!
Cheers Rob

What a day out that last drive look incredible 👍👍
Proper day👌
Well done Dave. Another great film. Thank you for keeping my spirits up during these dark times. Hope to see you again soon.
Glad you enjoyed it👌
Forgot how good these birds were, even tested your good self, that’s it till next season, stay safe and well 👏👍
They were very difficult David on a day i was struggling myself🤔
Some sporting birds there for sure , it doesn’t get much better than that ..super vid ..
Fantastic birds Richard and they beat the guns on this particular day
Absolutely amazing shooting, your one lucky gent to get the opportunity to shoot at such amazing places!
Hey Dave!
Again what pleasure to see this vidéo!
Everything is fantastic!
Shots, atmosphere, musique, English countryside, streams, clothes, cars...and shots...
Thank you so much and happy new year !!
Happy new year Fred and it was indeed a very nice day out in the English countryside👍
My 5 year old son Matthew and I love watching your videos they are fantastic
Thanks Dillon give your son a nod from me👌
Thanks for re-posting this one Dave, always great to see any of your earlier videos again. That rocky beach on your last drive was really a surreal shooting field, and the birds coming off the top of those cliffs were amazing.....talk about tough angles to take them at! Wishing you and yours good health and a Happy New Year, let's hope that it will be a good one for us all. Best regards as always, Ed.
Thanks Edward! they were indeed very tough sometimes very high with short windows, some of the toughest i've shot on that particular day
Happy New Year Dave we have not got a shoot this year due to virus and miss it will be glad when we get back to normal thank you for this video and please take care.
Happy new year Kieth and thanks for your input!! It is much appreciated-hopefully things will recover quickly 👌
Looked like some extremely challenging birds, epic scenery as well. Such a shame the season will end so poorly, best of luck to all the shoots in the off season, we will be back!
Difficult birds on a rare off day😁
truly amazing scenery!
outstanding and thankyou
That cliff edge is a dangerous spot to pick up, must be a lot of birds left unpicked along there.
Still, it must be a great experience to shoot on that beach though! Never seen a drive like that before
Very good communication regarding what to do with the city dwellers trying to tell others what to do!🇺🇸🐻
Sorry Jerry not meant to offend
Good day Dave , hope good music is included with your video again . the county side is always beautifully done here.
Thanks Mr Fox we always appreciate your comments👍
@@DaveCarrieShooting my name is David too I love your videos their relaxing and genuine
Another first class video hope you keep making more and more with other guessed as well as the likes of lord botham and explaining all the true facts of shooting and stalking and next time your back up in Scotland whitehouse of glenshee is worth a visit great to see integration with beaters and pickers up
You have very nice hunting videos, I watch it again and again, good luck to you, lots of greetings👏
Another beautiful hunt Dave, nicely done!
Thanks 👍
Cracking video. Roll the old ones out Dave, as we need something to keep our spirits up 👍😁
Cheers Nick
Τέλειο βιντεο Dave, άλλη μια φορά μάς έφτιαξες τήν διάθεση , ευχαριστούμε από Ελλάδα. Δημήτρης
Ευχαριστώ Δημήτρη
Absolute perfection, would do anything to experience a day like this 🙏🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Couldn't agree more! its always great to be in the english countryside
I was waiting for this one Dave .....
Hi Giles
thought you would like to see this one again especially me missing😂
LOVE that little terrier!
the mellow thwack of shot against feather , some nice shooting.
Thanks and i must concur
I don’t come from a shooting family and live in a small town. I wish I had the connections to get out into the countryside and enjoy it. Hopefully it’ll change for the better in the future 👍🏻
Thats the hard part (getting started) and our associations have failed badly in this department👍
Wonderful video Mr. Carrie! Can you explain for us where this is, maybe show it with a map. Lovely countryside. Thank you very much for sharing your passion!!
sorry about that David i forget that we have a lot of overseas viewers, This is the Town of Whitby as portrayed in Bram Stokers Dracula films a small Yorkshire town on the Northeast coastline of England
@@DaveCarrieShooting Thank you very much for letting us know. Blessings to you and your family sir.
Nice to hear Lord Botham speaking, perhaps he could use his influence to educate others.
You'll never convince a sab that shooting is ok, why bother? Great film, stunning scenery.
Too true Michael and thanks👌
Great Video & a Happy new Year to you & your family Dave 👏👌🏻👍🥃
Thanks Chris and hopefully a better year for all of us🤞
Si señor impresionante chapó un saludo desde España
The antis don't care about your jobs, your rights and certainly not your sport, no matter the lengthy list of benefits from field sports. Regardless keep shooting and keep fighting! And most of all ENJOY! Stay well. Holding it down here in the states.
Thanks Jeffrey much appreciated👌
HAPPY new year most birds fly out of range
very difficult on this extreme flying day
What about using a 10 gauge for high birds as/when steel becomes mandatory? I've seen videos of people taking geese at 80 yards with BB and larger sized shot out of the 10.
Happy new year. I am from Greece. I would love to come hunting in the UK along with my wife. Is there a website for general infos? Or a recommendation?
I would be grateful if you could give me a piece of advise to live such an experience.
guns on pegs is a great website for all shooting needs👍
@@DaveCarrieShooting thnxs!!!!!
Totally agree with all that 👍
Cheers David
Great film Dave. Unusual drive on the beach. What chokes did you use with the steel
Hi Bill I used 1/2 chokes
Super 👍🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
What is done with all those birds ?
Eaten
That little terrier looked like a pig in mud.
😂😂 great little dog
anyone who has handled a pointing dog over ruffed grouse or American woodcock in extremely tight cover would ever want it to be part of our past and i suspect such is the case for high bird shooting as well, although i can imagine shooting birds through inches of opening in canopy and brush i cannot imagine shooting birds that are 60 meters and more from my gun.
Great film but it is unfair against the common man there has got to be a way to include them but I'm still proud of the million ares please let us know the shoot price s thank you
What jacket is that Dave
What is the dog at 6:08? Thanks, Al
Lindas cazerias amigos saludos🇪🇨🇪🇨👍
They’ll be struggling to knock them down at these heights with steel , 3 1/2 inch 2,s .and still get pricked birds . Steel compared to lead is crap I personally think people will still shoot lead
People don’t understand how many people rely on the moors, woodlands as a job/ hobby which would help with things like mental health. Can’t beat a bit of fresh air
old Dave's not so hot in those little steep wooded valleys I notice !
one drive my back as well as two other guns were up against a overhanging wooded cliff no chance of 2 shots unless they were crossing way out in front, very difficult birds on a very difficult notorious drive "with no chance of creating any space"..👍
Lord Botham!😅😂😢
£50 fine for no tie
Packham take note your not always right work with the shooters and the farmers
We know how the countryside works.
Rant over great film.
Well said Darren👌
good conversation, too much ignorance .. problem is social media has amplified the voices of the ignorant and stupid.
👍👍👍
Great shooting and video, just a shame you didn’t dress correctly for the occasion.
Mmm i know what you mean!! my other coat was wet through from day before and i had forgotton to dry it out - it stank like a wet labrador
