Very good video bud. I especially like how you removed all the fluff. I dislike videos where they show every bolt getting unscrewed. It’s a waste of time. You did it right.
I will also be doing this soon. Need to fix check engine light, replace the radio unit, repair the hvac unit & blend door actuators, probably get a new sub assembly. I love this video, thank you so much!!

@@Motorcycle_ManI had a hell of a time trying to get that cable out that goes under the steering column until I turned the key on the ignition and it came out like butter.
@andrewg.8876 yeah i cant remember if i mentioned in the video that the key needs to be turned Glad you got it figured out, when its all fixed and done you'll appreciate the jeep that much more 👍👍

Nice detailed vid! I feel for you, lol! I’m trying to figure out what is directly behind the ashtray hole, a harness or duct work? I’m in need of placing (2)3/8” long screws through mine(just a cubby/no ashtray as mine isn’t the V8 model) to mount a bracket to hold my communications radio face plate. The screws will be low in the cubby maybe 1/2” up from the bottom of the cubby. I don’t need to be putting any screws through a harness!
@@Motorcycle_Man thanks but I did get it figured out last night! I keep forgetting how poorly our vehicles are built these days and seen another video where that lower dash piece just pulls out/off! There is a harness back there but short screws don’t interfere.
@@desertd2609 hell yeah I'm glad you got it figured out. I was gonna say I think its all wiring harness down that low. After doing the dash 3 times I should of remembered lol

Is it possible to take just the plastic panels off without removing all the stutf underneath it? Looking to do a interior swap and i cant figure out how to get just the panels off without taking the whole thing out also if i have to take it all is there possible compatibiliy issues on wiring/ac vents etc going from a laredo into a limited
What do u mean by plastic panels? If what im thinking is right then no It all has to come off as a unit to acccess bolts from backside. And yes there may be issues if one vehicle has dual climate control and the other has manual. But if u r only changing panels then it will be fine.
@Motorcycle_Man don't worry i think you understood me! I think it was i who was confused as to how the construction of the dash was made see i figured the panels were attached to a subframe of sorts instead of being one giant piece.

I recently replaced my blend door actuator and I still hear that noise when my Jeep is off. Almost sounds like it’s coming from the blower motor area. Any thoughts?
@@S_Anaya it could be the blend door is broken or the motor on the backside is broken like i showed in the back To fix it youd have to take apart the dash. I have a whole Playlist on how to remove and do everything if you need it
Any thoughts on how to fix a non working parking brake? Mine looks like yours, 2003 jeep.grand cherokee inline 6 4.0l limited with all the upgrades from factory. I've put around 5-6k into replacing what feels like everything at this point and I found out recently that it'd cost 1100 to replace the whole ac system; I've also got the drivers window and passenger windows to fix still aswell.
So about the parking brake, have you adjusted it at the back wheel or inspected the shoes? I would start there, only other thing it could be is the cables..
The ac system is a pain in the butt to replace, but definitely worth it. Also I'm getting ready to post a video on the window Regulators if you need it, they are pretty easy to do
@Motorcycle_Man I don't know the name of most of the parts I've replaced off hand I just know where they are. The mini radiator had a hole in the side, the compressor pump in the middle back straight left is cracked on the bottom and then the hose is leaking at the metal.connection point where I had electricians tape wrapped around a cover sheath since I went and replaced all the wire protectors I could reach in the engine bay because they disintegrated
