Abi Sufyan appointed Sa'd as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camels. I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say about 'Ali as he left him behind in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'Ali said to him: Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: Let us summon our children and your children. He (the governor) said to him: If you do not agree to it (at least) say: May Allah curse Abu Turab. We must see What was the approach of Early Tabiun, Muhadiseen, Fukaha, Imams and their Madhabs in these matters. "The consensus is upon not speaking upon the differences between the sahaba in Ahl-Sunnah" On one side Mirza never claimed that Muawiyya(RZ) is not a Sahabi, or not a Jannati, Mirza even says (RZ) when naming Muawiyya. And on the other hand, He is spreading hate among Muslims. Ilm is a gradual process, one should not think Mirza is the last word of ISLAM. There is a school of Thought, Say Shafi'i School. One must not think this school only consists the saying of Imam Shafi(RH). It is not true. The school goes through layers of corrections and error checking by their students and other great Imams who used to proceed with the Madhab. So, it ultimately becomes A Madhab(Complete school of thought of 1200 years) vs One person. Believing One person vs 1000s of greats is highly highly highly error prone. If I give an example. Imam Bukhari(RH) vs Sheikh Albani(RH) is a comparison, Different people will have different opinions who is more knowledgeable etc. But Sheikh Albani vs Shafi School (1200 years of deep study of 1000's of Imams) - There is no comparison in so many matters. Say, Deriving Fiqh, Ibn Hazm(RH) vs Hambali School(1100 years of extensive study), There is no comparison. Similarly, Mirza vs Understanding of Salaf(Pious Predecessors), Great 4 Madhabs and their understanding on that issue. I don’t agree with engineer but he never said Banu Ummaya are kafir he just proved that they were on the wrong here. Also, Muawiyah broke the treety with Hasan ibn Ali when he appointed Yazid as his successor, the treety clearly said the kingship would be given to Hasan ibn Ali after Muawiyah’s death but he appointed his son yazid. He is also responsible for the atrocities commited by yazid on the people of Madinah, the Kaaba and the Ahlul Bayt.

Sahih Muslim 4776: It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abd Rabb al-Ka'ba who said: I entered the mosque when 'Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-'As was sitting in the shade of the Ka'ba and the people had gathered around him. I betook myself to them and sat near him. (Now) Abdullah said: I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) on a journey. We halted at a place. Some of us began to set right their tents, others began to compete with one another in shooting, and others began to graze their beasts, when an announcer of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) announced that the people should gather together for prayer, so we gathered around the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ). He said: It was the duty of every Prophet that has gone before me to guide his followers to what he knew was good for them and warn them against what he knew was bad for them; but this Umma of yours has its days of peace and (security) in the beginning of its career, and in the last phase of its existence it will be afflicted with trials and with things disagreeable to you. (In this phase of the Umma), there will be tremendous trials one after the other, each making the previous one dwindle into insignificance. When they would be afflicted with a trial, the believer would say: This is going to bring about my destruction. When at (the trial) is over, they would be afflicted with another trial, and the believer would say: This surely is going to be my end. Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should treat the people as he wishes to be treated by them. He who swears allegiance to a Caliph should give him the piedge of his hand and the sincerity of his heart (i. e. submit to him both outwardly as well as inwardly). He should obey him to the best of his capacity. It another man comes forward (as a claimant to Caliphate), disputing his authority, they (the Muslims) should behead the latter. The narrator says: I came close to him ('Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-'As) and said to him: Can you say on oath that you heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )? He pointed with his hands to his ears and his heart and said: My ears heard it and my mind retained it. I said to him: This cousin of yours, Mu'awiya, orders us to unjustly consume our wealth among ourselves and to kill one another, while Allah says: O ye who believe, do not consume your wealth among yourselves unjustly, unless it be trade based on mutual agreement, and do not kill yourselves. Verily, God is Merciful to you (iv. 29). The narrator says that (hearing this) Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-As kept quiet for a while and then said: Obey him in so far as he is obedient to God; and diqobey him in matters involving disobedience to God.
1) Firstly you are manipulating the truth saying that Hassan has accepted muawiya as imam. In ahlesunnat no one accepted muawiya as a 6th Caliph but rather everyone accepted him as a dictator. 2) You said Hassan has taken bait of muawiya but in bukhari it's written that Hassan has taken a large army against muawiya then amr ibn aas suggested muawiya to compromise with Hassan then Hassan has observed that muawiya bought many of the soldiers of Hassan. That's the reason Hassan went for sulah. 3) Muawiya after that sulah ordered his governors to start cursing Ali ibn Talib on mimbar e Rasool and it's written in bukhari muslim books. 4) Iam quoting a Hadith of bukhari 2812 which states Narrated `Ikrima: that Ibn `Abbas told him and `Ali bin `Abdullah to go to Abu Sa`id and listen to some of his narrations; So they both went (and saw) Abu Sa`id and his brother irrigating a garden belonging to them. When he saw them, he came up to them and sat down with his legs drawn up and wrapped in his garment and said, (During the construction of the mosque of the Prophet) we carried the adobe of the mosque, one brick at a time while `Ammar used to carry two at a time. The Prophet passed by `Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, May Allah be merciful to `Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. `Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire. 5) We all know ammar bin Yasir was martyred by muawiya group in jung e siffeen. 6) Nabi SAWW has said muawiyas group was a group who invites to the hell fire. 7) If you want to support muawiya you can go to hell fire with him. But because of this your one stand with muawiya your whole dawah is going to take move towards downfall.

Honestly, I don't see Adnan bhai destroying Engineer. However, i clearly see how less prepared this guy is. In fact he doesn't have the skills to talk to Adnan. I don’t agree with everything Adnan says, but Mirza wouldn’t stand a chance. Adnan is a qualified historian with an Ijazah in Hadith, Mirza hasn’t had a formal education with regards to Islam. Attacking people like Misbahi or Jalaluddin Qadri is something anyone can do. In an actual debate, someone who is completely inexperienced tends to fall into many fallacies, which can be caught easily by an experienced opponent. He has already misquoted ahadith, and lied upon Umm Ul Momineen Aisha AS and Sayyiduna Ali AS, making multiple mistakes in the absolute basics while reading Qur’an from the Mushaf, he even tried to talk about Ilm Ul Kalam when he clearly doesn’t even know the basics. Man doesn’t even know Arabic akhi. Nonetheless I still appreciate him tackling Shirk which is a very virtuous act so May Allah insha’Allah reward him for that.

NO. I have difference of opinion with Engineer Mirza on some topics but he is 100% right in this topic. Muawiya and his progeny did their utmost to change Prophet Muhammad PBUH way. Him and his fellow Banu ummayya governors during the time of Uthman r.a eventually led to Uthman r.a death, fought a rightly guided Caliph and divided the Muslim community, Cursed Ali r.a, violated the agreement with Hassan r.a and eventually appointed his son who led to Hussain r.a murder. They have been enemies of Islam since day throughout their lives.

There's categorical evidence from the commonly agreed body of ahadith that Muawiya (ra): - was cursed by RusoolAllah (saw) that his hunger may never be satiated - claimed that he and his father were more deserving of the Caliphate in a gathering where Abdullah b. Umar (as) was present - asked people to kill other Muslims and loot their belongings - started the habit of cursing Ali and the Ahl ul Bayt (as) from the minbars - took bayah for his son Yazid even when he himself was a ruler which is haram - changed the name of Abi Baqrah's (as) half brother Zaid from what it was to Zaid b. Abu Sufyan which is haram - led the group of people that were responsible for killing Ammar b. Yasir (as) and when told about his death said it it was God-forbid Ali (as) who killed Ammar (as) as he brought him to the battlefield This is what the Engineer says, and upon most of not all these actions the scholars agree that all of them were wrong. All of this evidence clearly points out that it was Hasan's (as) party that was on haqq in this fight. If anyone has academic counter arguments against all of these substantiated from Sahih ahadith then I'm all ears if not then please stop this bickering amongst the ummah over this matter between Muawiyah (ra) and Hassan (as) and agree that the Ahl ul Bayt (as) were on haqq, that it was a great injustice that they were not allowed to be the rightful Caliphs of the ummah and that their murders by the Banu Ummayah were senseless and done only to grab power and nothing else

1st Kharaji/Rafdi/Munafiq Mawiyah bin sufiyan in Muslim ummat who abused Khalifa Rashid Maula Ali (as) in religious & political gathering sahih Muslim 6220 Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyan appointed Sa'd as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camels. I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say about 'Ali as he left him behind in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'Ali said to him: Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: Let us summon our children and your children. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family. sahih Muslim 6229 Sahl b. Sa`d reported that a person from the offspring of Marwan was appointed as the governor of Medina. He called Sahl b. Sa`d and ordered him to abuse `Ali. Sahl refused to do that. He (the governor) said to him: If you do not agree to it (at least) say: May Allah curse Abu Turab. Sahl said: There was no name dearer to `Ali than Abu Turab (for it was given to him by the Prophet himself) and he felt delighted when he was called by this name. He (the governor) said to him: Narrate to us the story of his being named as Abu Turab. He said: Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to the house of Fatima and he did not find `Ali in the house; whereupon he said: Where is your uncle's son? She said: (There cropped up something) between me and him which had annoyed him with me. He went out and did not rest here. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked a person to find out where he was. He came and said: Allah's Messenger, he is sleeping in the mosque. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to him and found him lying in the mosque and saw that his mantle had slipped from his back and his back was covered with dust and Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) began to wipe it away from him (from the body of Hadrat `Ali) saying: Get up, covered with dust (Abu Turab); get up, covered with dust.

And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: Let us summon our children and your children. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family.

Sahl b. Sa`d reported that a person from the offspring of Marwan was appointed as the governor of Medina. He called Sahl b. Sa`d and ordered him to abuse `Ali. Sahl refused to do that. He (the governor) said to him: If you do not agree to it (at least) say: May Allah curse Abu Turab. Sahl said: There was no name dearer to `Ali than Abu Turab (for it was given to him by the Prophet himself) and he felt delighted when he was called by this name. He (the governor) said to him: Narrate to us the story of his being named as Abu Turab. He said: Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to the house of Fatima and he did not find `Ali in the house; whereupon he said: Where is your uncle's son? She said: (There cropped up something) between me and him which had annoyed him with me. He went out and did not rest here. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked a person to find out where he was. He came and said: Allah's Messenger, he is sleeping in the mosque. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to him and found him lying in the mosque and saw that his mantle had slipped from his back and his back was covered with dust and Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) began to wipe it away from him (from the body of Hadrat `Ali) saying: Get up, covered with dust (Abu Turab); get up, covered with dust.

So, it ultimately becomes A Madhab(Complete school of thought of 1200 years) vs One person.
Believing One person vs 1000s of greats is highly highly highly error prone.
If I give an example.
Imam Bukhari(RH) vs Sheikh Albani(RH) is a comparison, Different people will have different opinions who is more knowledgeable etc.
But Sheikh Albani vs Shafi School (1200 years of deep study of 1000's of Imams) - There is no comparison in so many matters.
Say, Deriving Fiqh, Ibn Hazm(RH) vs Hambali School(1100 years of extensive study), There is no comparison.
Similarly, Mirza vs Understanding of Salaf(Pious Predecessors), Great 4 Madhabs and their understanding on that issue.

I went (and came back) and said that he was busy in taking food, whereupon he said: May Allah not fill his belly! Ibn Muthanna, said: I asked Umm Umayya what he meant by the word Hatani. He said: It means he patted my shoulders.

(In this phase of the Umma), there will be tremendous trials one after the other, each making the previous one dwindle into insignificance. When they would be afflicted with a trial, the believer would say: This is going to bring about my destruction. When at (the trial) is over, they would be afflicted with another trial, and the believer would say: This surely is going to be my end. Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should treat the people as he wishes to be treated by them. He who swears allegiance to a Caliph should give him the piedge of his hand and the sincerity of his heart (i. e. submit to him both outwardly as well as inwardly). He should obey him to the best of his capacity. It another man comes forward (as a claimant to Caliphate), disputing his authority, they (the Muslims) should behead the latter. The narrator says: I came close to him ('Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-'As) and said to him: Can you say on oath that you heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )? He pointed with his hands to his ears and his heart and said: My ears heard it and my mind retained it. I said to him: This cousin of yours, Mu'awiya, orders us to unjustly consume our wealth among ourselves and to kill one another, while Allah says: O ye who believe, do not consume your wealth among yourselves unjustly, unless it be trade based on mutual agreement, and do not kill yourselves. Verily, God is Merciful to you (iv. 29). The narrator says that (hearing this) Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-As kept quiet for a while and then said: Obey him in so far as he is obedient to God; and diqobey him in matters involving disobedience to God.

1) Firstly you are manipulating the truth saying that Hassan has accepted muawiya as imam. In ahlesunnat no one accepted muawiya as a 6th Caliph but rather everyone accepted him as a dictator.
2) You said Hassan has taken bait of muawiya but in bukhari it's written that Hassan has taken a large army against muawiya then amr ibn aas suggested muawiya to compromise with Hassan then Hassan has observed that muawiya bought many of the soldiers of Hassan. That's the reason Hassan went for sulah.
3) Muawiya after that sulah ordered his governors to start cursing Ali ibn Talib on mimbar e Rasool and it's written in bukhari muslim books.
4) Iam quoting a Hadith of bukhari 2812 which states Narrated `Ikrima: that Ibn `Abbas told him and `Ali bin `Abdullah to go to Abu Sa`id and listen to some of his narrations; So they both went (and saw) Abu Sa`id and his brother irrigating a garden belonging to them. When he saw them, he came up to them and sat down with his legs drawn up and wrapped in his garment and said, (During the construction of the mosque of the Prophet) we carried the adobe of the mosque, one brick at a time while `Ammar used to carry two at a time. The Prophet passed by `Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, May Allah be merciful to `Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. `Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire.

NO. I have difference of opinion with Engineer Mirza on some topics but he is 100% right in this topic. Muawiya and his progeny did their utmost to change Prophet Muhammad PBUH way. Him and his fellow Banu ummayya governors during the time of Uthman r.a eventually led to Uthman r.a death, fought a rightly guided Caliph and divided the Muslim community, Cursed Ali r.a, violated the agreement with Hassan r.a and eventually appointed his son who led to Hussain r.a murder.

I never thought these people fight over this topic be against each other. Obviously people are going to have different opinions.

Adnan Bhai i am very dissapointed that you have some Nasbi tendencies. I respected you for many reasons but your hate of Shia developed Nasbiyat in you. Being hater of Shia should not mean that you develop Nasbiyat. After prophet muhammad a.s, Ahlulbayt are at the top in afzaliyat.
There's categorical evidence from the commonly agreed body of ahadith that Muawiya (ra):
- was cursed by RusoolAllah (saw) that his hunger may never be satiated
- claimed that he and his father were more deserving of the Caliphate in a gathering where Abdullah b. Umar (as) was present
- asked people to kill other Muslims and loot their belongings
- started the habit of cursing Ali and the Ahl ul Bayt (as) from the minbars
- took bayah for his son Yazid even when he himself was a ruler which is haram
- changed the name of Abi Baqrah's (as) half brother Zaid from what it was to Zaid b. Abu Sufyan which is haram
- led the group of people that were responsible for killing Ammar b. Yasir (as) and when told about his death said it it was God-forbid Ali (as) who killed Ammar (as) as he brought him to the battlefield
This is what the Engineer says, and upon most of not all these actions the scholars agree that all of them were wrong. All of this evidence clearly points out that it was Hasan's (as) party that was on haqq in this fight. If anyone has academic counter arguments against all of these substantiated from Sahih ahadith then I'm all ears if not then please stop this bickering amongst the ummah over this matter between Muawiyah (ra) and Hassan (as) and agree that the Ahl ul Bayt (as) were on haqq, that it was a great injustice that they were not allowed to be the rightful Caliphs of the ummah and that their murders by the Banu Ummayah were senseless and done only to grab power and nothing else

Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyan appointed Sa'd as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camels. I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say about 'Ali as he left him behind in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'Ali said to him: Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: Let us summon our children and your children. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family.

Sahl b. Sa`d reported that a person from the offspring of Marwan was appointed as the governor of Medina. He called Sahl b. Sa`d and ordered him to abuse `Ali. Sahl refused to do that. He (the governor) said to him: If you do not agree to it (at least) say: May Allah curse Abu Turab. Sahl said: There was no name dearer to `Ali than Abu Turab (for it was given to him by the Prophet himself) and he felt delighted when he was called by this name. He (the governor) said to him: Narrate to us the story of his being named as Abu Turab. He said: Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to the house of Fatima and he did not find `Ali in the house; whereupon he said: Where is your uncle's son? She said: (There cropped up something) between me and him which had annoyed him with me. He went out and did not rest here. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked a person to find out where he was. He came and said: Allah's Messenger, he is sleeping in the mosque. Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came to him and found him lying in the mosque and saw that his mantle had slipped from his back and his back was covered with dust and Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) began to wipe it away from him (from the body of Hadrat `Ali) saying: Get up, covered with dust (Abu Turab); get up, covered with dust.
