    Hey man I know this does not pertain to this video but do you know if I can put energy suspension bushings on the trailing arm on my 1999 Honda CRV? And if so a part number may be possibly? I just can’t find them and the ones that I could find on Amazon are not compatible with the CRV. But sometimes it will say that it won’t work but in all actuality they will 🤷‍♂️

    I was just watching you valve lash video. I think I'm off because after adjusting them I'm getting misfires. I'll play around with it some more until I get it right.
    All this yeeter stuff has me wanting to buy a manual RD1 and lifting it.

      this thing is super fun.

    • @nobodynoone2500
      @nobodynoone2500 2 года назад +2

      Be sure to get it right! Get some ngk plugs and some wires made in the last decade if still misfiring and the valve lash is for sure good. Next look at injectors.
      I have also had to redo valve lash after doing it on particularly beat up engines as well. Might be flattening the valve face or knocking off carbon and reseating.
      Should sound smooth with sewing machine kinda sound, no big ticks. Double check your feeler gauge sizes and I usually bend a 45 in em to easier reach without artifical drag.
      Have an old-timer help if its not making sense.

      They are longer to be able to adjust the camber outward.

    Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new, many thanks for that. So this time I learned the difference in application for a gray turnhart vs red ones! I lifted my crv using the red turnhart not knowing the difference,, oops! I have been driving my car though with no issues as far as I can tell. Wondering what your thoughts are on this, should I replace them immediately?

    • @hondaresource
      @hondaresource  2 года назад +1

      They will work, the angle on hunt silver is better for lift though. I've seen people flip the red ones upside down and the ball joint on the other side of the arm. This requires switching the arms left to right side of the vehicle if you go that route

    • @danielkalani3101

      @@hondaresource btw, do you think liftin the Crv could cause vibration while on the highway (at 65 m/hr)? Any idea what I should do or look at to get rid of the shaking?
