all the best on susans recovery. i just had to say the mention of howe having faves is completely insane and ridiculous to me. he is a top class operator who deserves respect. he picks the team to win based on so many factors and the fave player nonsense is crazy.
I agree regarding Trippier, for me he was up there for man of the match. Most of City's play was down our right and Grealish had no joy against him. I was in Leazes stand and apart from lucky ricochet Tripper had him in his pocket. If that performance was from Liveramento the fans would be creaming themselves.
All round Great team performance. Burn was brilliant against Haaland, martialed him all game. Hall, Murphy, Linton gave their all. Gordon was a thorn in City side all game. Team attitude was spot on. Well done players and coaching staff. I will say after being in the stadium for the match , coming home excited to watch MOTD I was pissed of at the BBC footage. Seemed all City to me. Did not show all the great play the Toon delivered in putting City under pressure. Ratings - Toon get 9.5, BBC get 2.
Excellent show lads. Good point about Pep. Arteta spent so much time with him and yet none of his class rubbed off on him. Leopards and spots I suppose
I don’t understand why people only remember the physical things Joelinton does and rarely the technical. He had the best piece of skill in the game with a beautiful touch, swivel and hit with his left which somehow was saved. The class ball into Bruno’s stride that enabled the assist for the pen. Also should have had a pen not given. Why were none mentioned?
Gordon was such a handful for the city bk4, he never gave them a minutes peace. Isak can be lazy in the 9 role and gases out very easy, I'd like to try Isak on the left and Barnes on the right for Everton if Isak is fit? Looking forward to see Usula against Wimbledon.
J7 was brilliant.. I know there was a few dodgy passes but he was a colossus… total enforcer …headed in defence, got stuck in a gritty midfield battle and had also a volley strike that was a dead-cert goal… box-to-box beast … name me one other player like him?
Different player type but McTomminay was a bit like that for Man U but has a goal threat while being less of an enforcer. When we were linked with him I thought 40m was a joke but he would be a total upgrade on Longstaff and Miley
Joelinton had the most intelligent performance covering for Hall and Burn and blocking space and then making up numbers in midfield. Had a great shot too end of 1st half and should have won a penalty
Pope will win us many many more points than he looses us from poor passing this season. I'll take it. Finding keepers that are good at both is massively difficult and I'll take Champions League level shot stopping any day.
A lot of our performances are dictated by the opposition - especially away from home. Teams know now that we are aggressive, press high and play with intensity. They know they have to up their game to match us. Fulham was our second away game in a row and that is mentally more challenging. Fulham were primed and ready and we didn't deal with it sadly... Fantastic to see a brilliant performance from all the guys on Saturday...just need to get our scoring boots back on...😁 excellent show as usual guys x
Alex I agree with you, the fans hammer longstaff when the same mistake other players do don’t get mentioned,we know longstaff isn’t great but I think the fans just want to pick on him all the time
Gents Watching the catch up from Bangkok Bumingrad hospital grate shows all through the week We got our (we only want to see a shift from the team) back 😅😅😅 Eddie nailed the necessary Master tactical battle
Paul, give my best to Susan. In the end all that matters is family. BTW "Tom Pepper" was a horse racing tipster in The Sun newspaper back in the day and he was generally shite, hence the phrase.
Team werent better balanced with Gordon vs Isak. We havent played against a 'better' team this season till City. So todays game wasnt like a Southampton or Fulham. Gordon runs and presses more but we had no goal threat in the box with Murphy, Barnes and Gordon. Our chances and shots were Schar, Joelinton and Longstaff. Im not saying Gordon didnt do a great job but he wasnt a no.9
Alex is taking over your channel and has far too much input. Most Geordies don’t like being patronised and his superior know it all manner, waving his arms while disparaging those who don’t share his views makes me hit the mute button. Give him less air time, or his own show.
I agree our starting 11 were brilliant though I thought we missed that out and out CF/ST Gordon naturally tends to pull wide which is where I think he’s more useful in just not picking there tho Lewis hall MOTM me
Personally I think you couldn't be more wrong about Alex, in fact every one of this team brings something different and it wouldn't be TTR without any of them (do you think you can put the stats together Alex does or do you just not understand them maybe?)
@@kathchandler8189 I have been supporting NUFC, playing and watching football before he was born and can spot a fake when I see one. He talks too much and appeals only to the gullible.
@MockthewokeToday bloody Nora, you're arrogant mate &, for your information it was part of my managerial job to spot fakes & he's not one ! Don't bother replying, you're a boring fart 😴

Love your channel paul you guys are all amazing hope Suzanne feeling better soon
Great analysis lads!
Can also consider Murphy’s impact/salary ratio, especially in the FFP era
Much better performance let's hope it's a corner turned
Excellent show lads. Good point about Pep. Arteta spent so much time with him and yet none of his class rubbed off on him. Leopards and spots I suppose
I agree Eddie should get a 10 got his tactics spot on
Good watch as always. Alex resembles the King of Spades.

6:59 agreed … Murphy gave everything… not perfect but the only one who actually crosses like Beckham … yet no one gambling on the end of it!!!
Send our love to Susan please Paul and thx to both you and Alex for the show.
You two yes you Alec 🤣🤣 and wor Paul, absolutely brilliant double act lads, wish you all the very best with this Chanel 👍👍👍

We could do with the cover he'd provide up front too and goal threat seeing as we have no strikers.
Tonali had no right to get out of the corners he did he was brilliant
Joelinton had the most intelligent performance covering for Hall and Burn and blocking space and then making up numbers in midfield. Had a great shot too end of 1st half and should have won a penalty
Hope Susan is ok and gets sorted soon!
Big Dan Burn leading the press
I tested Paul’s war horse praise on my wife let’s say I didn’t get the caring reaction Paul said would come ….i got a biscuit tin thrown at me
If I ever called our lass a horse she’d Fukin kill me to be honest 😂 hope Susan is well soon tho Paul av had kidney stones they’re a nightmare
If my wife called me a horse, I would be ok with that...

100% agree with you guys re Isak/Gordon - 🤣Isak has been off pace for ages now - really enjoyed our front line yesterday...
All the best Susan

Where was Billy? Hope he is ok
Tonalis scuffle with Grealish will be iconic in his Newcastle story I think. Hopefully he builds on it this season
Get well soon Susan
Love that Paul. Straight up if you have something to say, say it it to my face
All well ,❤❤
Amazing performance and result , but am I tripping? There's no comparison to AG when he's on it playing on the left as good as he was yesterday
hope susan gets well soon
Hope you get well soon Susan.
Murphy is so underrated just because he's murphy
Wishing Susan a swift and painless recovery.
