So i am gonna have to show you guys next year 🚂 But I’m still very happy with my whole GBB experience, all the insane artists i could share the stage with and my first performances in front of an amazing crowd from the other side of the globe 🌎 😍 Love you family, can’t wait for my next stay in japan 🇯🇵🍇

i like josh o's style. it has hints of traditional music structuring to it (especially when you factor modern musical traditions), but a good chunk of his structure is just original and /works/.

I'm blown away by the variety and uniqueness of the styles in this category, how every looper makes it their own! This round was too tough to call. Maybe Josh-O's second round flowed the best for me.
After the first 2 battles, I would never expect the energy to be consistent, let alone get higher, but hearing these rounds, it feels like the energy increased, and personally, I think this battle was a little underrated from the other powerhouses. It's genuinely hard for me to pick a winner, and I guess the same for the judges, as seen from the 3-2. Big ups to both of them, I hope these 2 specifically release more stuff because their styles are SOOOO addictive

I feel like, on a blind listen because I hadn’t heard anything of this prior, Josh-O’s rounds were really well polished, but eminently beatable as battle rounds. Matej’s were better suited for the environment though they seemed less complex in their construction. Feels like a tough loss for Josh-O, but a hell of an achievement for Matej, especially given his lack of time to prepare.
matej is insane, crazy to think he barely had any prep time! also the musicality of josh o, especially that first round... just wish he would bring a little more energy, i feel like he could definitely win gbb
Loving these loop videos. The only thing missing is more wide shots and close shots of the crowd dancing. Seems like there was only one static cam on green hair guy. Missing the reactions and dancing.
I feel like he was already very good in 2021, but either got stressed or screwed by the same technical issues many others had (or both). But I'm biased, Matej is literally my most listened artist on Spotify this year

Both of them are on my top 5 most listened artists on Spotify and both delivered. In another bracket this could've been the final, IMO. There's no way this is the last time we hear from either of them!
I've loved Josh O's stuff since the first time I saw him back in the SBX kickback battles and I really like how technical, methodical and also melodic he is when he's looping. He definitely got his own thing going compared to a lot of other loopers. First round was quite even I'd say with slight advantage to one or another. Second round I have to say Matej took convincingly! Big up's to both loopers, can't wait to see more from both of you! 😊
Whenever I knew Josh O and Matej were going to be in the quarterfinals I already knew that would be a hard one not only for the expectators but for the judging panel, WHAT A BATTLE! I was amazed of Josh O tracks, it sounds not just like a song but complete Project!! he was all over the L-station like a spider.. And Matej, holy Molly, completely opposite.. what I noticed straight away, he barely touching L-station and yet manages to get out absolute blast.. well done.. Enjoyable to watch and listen..
