That perch setup is pretty sketchy, look into shelf perches. The table needs to covered with something that's easily cleanable. Rotating pieces of astroturf works. Change and clean each day. Rubber gloves, really.
Thank you for the tip. I do do that just didn't here sorry. Gloves were only cause I just did some butchering work and figured screw it and left them on.

try tapping your wrist and whistling. The visual cue sometimes works really well. Just tap two fingers . Rubber gloves??
