The plan was already fullfilled before we even fought him (hence why Saber Alter and EMIYA Alter had to destroy the incoming "bullet").
It's also kinda implied to be the reason for his downfall though, he was subconsciously holding back against the protagonist during their final battle in Shinjuku because he cares for them.

pigifi I was so happy rolling Moriarty as my first SSR Servant and then bam Proto!Arthur. I knew my luck won't allow me to roll a second SSR Servant, the best I got was Emiya Assassin.
I was saving for Proto arthur and wanted to roll for Lobo (I didn't get Musashi, Merlin or Gramps so I was feeling kind of lucky) AND FUCKING MORIARTY AT THE 6TH TICKET. HE SURE IS AN EVIL MASTERMIND

It actually fits the theme of preventing the world from being destroyed.. Whether you are stopping a meteorite being shot into the core of the planet like a gun barrel, Stopping a ritual that brings Hell on Earth or preventing a Foreign Elder God from escaping another dimension to bring insanity to all it's inhabitants. Simply put: Epic of Remnants Grand Battle is by far the best in conveying the desperation of a final chapter battle.. And damn it is amazing..
This whole arc was so much fun and full of feels! I really loved the interactions between Jalter, Salter, Moriarty, and Holmes, all the drama, and the whole mystery in this arc! I was making dying whale noises in the last part where Moriarty confesses that Ritsuka became his most precious person hhhhhhhhhhhhh Listening to this ost brings me back to the ending scenes
Shinjuku is the best Pseudo-singularity. It gave us James Moriarty. Somehow, someway, they made a villainous villain not only likable, but at the end I reflected back and felt sad he had to go, even if it all was a lie.
Salem was probably the most intense Storyline though. Very plot heavy, with us having no idea what's going on until the later parts. It's right up there with Babylonia and Camelot in terms of favourite singularities.
He has a banner for White Day next year. I think it's in May? Oh no I just realized how close that is I thought it was in March but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be one month after Valentine's not three I was supposed to save this summer but Skadi happened
Sherlock would have to be at least in a class that takes half damage from Archers primarily seeing how Archers like Gil and now Moriarty have skills that increase their NP gauge by one charge for free in addition to one of Moriarty's skills literally draining a percent of your team's NP charges by a pretty good amount. Maybe having some sort of skill that locks down all of Moriarty's skills and use of NP for more than one turn as 1 turn for an enemy NPC isn't enough to get a clear advantage.
Actually J.M didn't have the coffin machine gun/missle launcher combo in life, he obtained it after becoming a heroic spirit which he was fused with the Phantom Der Freischütz
Honestly with this theme basically being the "Grand Battle" theme for EoR, it really lost a lot of its magic...it was perfect when fighting Moriarty, but it really felt out of place everywhere else
yeah this ost is really good/fitting with the atmosphere in the final fight of moriarty, fitting with the background with that crystal butterfly, the city, and you know moriarty himself (especially that dramatic speech of moriarty at the beginning of the fight). In agartha its pretty meh, in shimosa its quite fitting but not as good as shinjuku (won't comment for events though because the immersion is simply ruined because of the boss usually are so easy lol except that shiki fight in ccc)
Yeah I'd have to agree. It felt out of place in Agartha, and while it was it sort of fit into Shimousa, the rest of the soundtrack there used a bunch of japanese instruments so it was kinda strange. That final battle ost though
@@TheBaldingPied This theme was more of an afterthought in Shimousa. We were more invested in the awesome arrangement of Muramasa's EMIYA, the new Grand Battle song for the Nameless Swordsman, and the theme for the Seven Swordmasters.
The biggest reason why I pay for fgo is that it provides us with epic BGMs. Camelot, Babylonia, Shimosa, Goetterdammerung and Olympus are my favorites.

Nah,Shinjuku had to go first because it's truly the more "personal" of the stories. The Demon God Pillar is just being petty and getting revenge on the Master of Chaldea. That's it. It makes sense for it to be first since it comes fresh off the events of Solomon so you still remember why he'd be in a state of mind where he just wants to slaughter you. Agartha could have honestly gone in whatever moment, same goes for Seraphix. They are both very stand-alone and their antagonists don't even care much about you or Goetia's former plan. That said Shimousa and Salem HAD to be last because they are both intrinsically linked to the next storyline. Shimousa is even outright declared to be a "Pseudo-Parallel World" rather than a Pseudo-Singularity.

This should be used in the lostbelts imo. The music doesn't make you feel heroic, you are just some people fighting for what is the best for your people. You are not in the wrong nor in the right because you are saving your own world but at the same time destroying other's.
I mean, Grand Battle 3 also has those same vibes tbh. The vibe of "desperate battle for one's own sake", especially with the ominous intro And it did played for a bit Lostbelt 5 so there's that

great music and a great fate storyline that deserves a full anime series. However, sadly they are keeping this great storyline as a mobile game.

They did Sir Conan justice in shinjuku.

Just used Yagyu to decrease his attack by 90% on np turn (400% NP OC amd lvl 6 3rd skill) and the damage was laughable
