    Thank you for posting this video. I did this with a puzzle this weekend. A few things not shown... 1) the puzzle may not be completely flat when it is glued (mine slightly curled up toward the edges) so when it is time to glue it to the sheet you may need some large heavy books to place on top of the puzzle to get to cure completely flat to the sheet. 2) be sure to account for the thickness of the screw heads... I ended up having to drill larger holes to accommodate (initially I only had holes the size of the screw shank) I almost didn’t have enough room in the missing puzzle piece for the larger hole... just made it... Overall, looks great on the wall... I really hope it stands the test of time... thanks again!

    Personally, I don't like to frame a puzzle because I like to show it as an actual puzzle, not just as a picture, so this video saved me a lot, great idea, thank you!

    Just did this today with Eucaboard instead of MDF. The screws didn't want to go in far enough but I persuaded them with a hammer and it worked great even for a 2000 piece puzzle. Thanks!

    I would suggest to just buy a picture hanging kit. It comes with all sorts of options that you can just glue to the back of the board. I prefer the alligator teeth looking ones but there’s wire and all sorts of ways to do this without worrying about finding the screw later and really need a max of two screws in the wall. I will look into the backing they used. Thats an awesome idea for that.

    • @RenanSerighelli

      Hey! You can buy them at any tool shop ;) I suggest you to compare the head of the screw and the size of the pieces, just to be sure the screw don't damage your puzzle. Since the puzzles are usually light, you don't need big and long screws ;) Thank you!

    • @RenanSerighelli
      @RenanSerighelli  4 года назад +1

      it was pretty easy because the puzzle already was glued (used a regular puzzle glue) after that I moved it over the sheet. If you haven't glued the pieces yet, you need to place it on a paper or a surface where you can leave some "glue dirty", then u can easely glue it to a sheet ;) I hope I helped you!
