- Tutorial on how to use the Deck Swiper Component (Created by Minimum Studio), on Adalo. This gives you tinder-like functionality to like and dislike cards and add actions.
We look at using relationships in the database to achieve likes, dislikes, and which cards to show people.

Deck Swiper Module has one major problem, hope that it could be fixed soon! The error is that it is only one current record which is the first record in Deck siper list and when you click on the item it will always show the first one current record saved. No matter that you already swiped multiple times and list displays next item, but it will not become current and no matter what item you will click - it will always show the first item that was displaced, because it is considered current.
do you solve this problem? thx

Hiya - thanks for the tutorial - its super helpful! I've been playing around with the conditional statements to create a match when user A likes a bicycle of user B and user B likes a bicycle of user A. Basically want to create a swapping platform. Any tips on how I can do that or is that not possible? thanks a lot!
Great video. For some reason the final screen "Finished" appears almost every time I swipe a bike. Also, it keeps the old records of liked and disliked and when I swipe it adds the same pictures and duplicates from the other list. so every list has some bikes the same.
How do I restart my deck after it's finished?
How can I build all the same swipes but with the video? Short clips. I thought to use a video player but I can figure out how to make it change the content. In database, I added video links

Hi! Really nice video, than you for that. I would like to know if is possible to create a deck swiper having into account some filters before starting swipping without the need of creating a screen with each of the possibilities.
For example in a recipes app if I want to swip only recipes for desserts or for main dishes or breakfast...

So the main home screen has a Custom List with a name, user picture, RUclips video, Swipe left (Dislike), Swipe right (Like).
I have created a custom list out of those objects, youtube/name/picture connected to the user database. It all works except for when I click the Like or Dislike it doesn’t change the screens. I set action rules and filters, autorefresh, and refresh screen. It seems I’m missing something small, but I don’t get it.
The List connects to users.
Custom filter: Email - Is not equal to - Logged in User.
Current user>SeenBy - Doesn’t contain - Loggedin User
Current user>MyLikeList - Doesn’t contain - Loggedin User
Maximum number of items = 1
The button Dislike
Action Update - Logged in User - MyDisLikeList - Add Current User
Action Update - Current User - MyDisLikeList - Add Logged in User
Action Update - Current User - SeenBy - Add Logged in User
The button Like
Action Update - Logged in User - MyLikeList - Add Current User
Action Update - Current User - LikedMe - Add Logged in User
Action Update - Current User - SeenBy - Add Logged in User
Create - Collection “Match” - MatchProf1 Logged in User > User Name, and MatchProf1 Current User > User Name, Matched User profile - Current User,
Sometimes, if the Current User, contains, Logged in User

Hey! Please can you help, I cannot find the deck swiper in Adalo anymore. Not sure if it's been deleted. Do you know of an alternative?
The deck swiper component was buggy, it's possible they've removed it while making improvements/fixing it. For a customer app I imitate the deck swiper component using a custom list. However you have to press a like/dislike button - it doesn't have physical swipe functionality but the result is similar.
