I seen Trevor Sikkema say that Wicks has only caught 57% of his catchable passes this season & a WR should be in the low 90’s% or at least the high 80’s% but just hasn’t been catching the catchable passes he should be catching. Gonna need him to step up without Watson now. Also seen Andy Herman say that Rashan Gary only has 1 credited sack in his last 11 games, which is the one that he got against the Eagles where Lane Johnson thought there was an offsides penalty against the Packers which allowed Gary to run by him for the sack. Pretty disappointing after getting paid like a top edge rusher but not producing like one. Keishon Nixon has more sacks this season than Gary has in his last 11 games 🤦🏽♂️
The dude has never but 10 sacks but got paid like he consistently hits 15. Hate to bash gute cause he has been good, but that move is definitely one of the worst ones.

You are 100% spot on regarding LaFleur bailing on the run. It was 21-0 with over 11 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Absolutely no reason to bail on the run game, but he always does with Love as QB. With Love's injury, he was also putting him in harms way. We won both games with Willis because of the run game. Ticks me off.
Down 21-0… 28-0 at one point, there is your reason and it’s absolutely warranted. Time and remaining possessions are at a premium and you need big plays
@@masonCOBwinghe’s underperformed but not immensely. He’d probably have more yards by now had Love not gotten injured. He’s got to work on his fundamentals which was a critique he had in his draft profile - he has unique unorthodox movement and route ability but it can get him off rhythm/landmarks he’s expected to be in & of course he needs to work on his hands. Still way too much upside to not play him though. We will need to lean on him with Watson out. Let’s see if he lights it up. He could have had like almost 4 touchdowns this past game which is crazy to think about.
The important thing to note about PFF grades is they are empirical. So if a guy passes or fails the eyeball test they don't care. They just add up their counts in Excel like a bunch of droids.
Good to see Clark and Gary moving up some though really expect 70s at least for these guys. Slaton needs to step up. Not sure what the problem is there. Is he too slow for this type of defense. He really is as 3-4 NT so maybe not a good fit. Just a guess. I foresee Slaton playing elsewhere next year. Also good to see Quay Walker up there. Jaire Alexander was clearly missed yesterday. I should start making some responsible small bets. I see the odds high that the Packers make the playoffs. I see the odds low that the Packers win the division. Jacobs run blocking sure needs work. I can even see the issue and I don't watch that close while watching the game. I suspect Kraft got a lower RBLK grade due to the penalties which were at bad times. Didn't expect Musgrave to be such a disappointment this year. His blocking has been glaringly bad all year. I agree with the point about Jordan Love getting some dirty hits. Looked unnecessary to me.

@@Asynurrin the nfl if the ball comes right at you it better be an egregious PI if you’re not gonna catch the ball. A physical play doesn’t mean you get a pass for not catching it
He almost had like 4 TDs had he ran the right route and caught the deep ball on those 2 plays. He’s gotta get some fundamentals/intangibles right this season is all.
In Nixon's defense. He had great coverage on JJ on that TD. That was just a perfectly timed/thrown ball. That's why being a corner is so damn hard. I agree they got away from the run game too quickly. Even in the 4th when they got the ball back with just under 7 to play. They still had timeouts. After Love connected with Wicks on the first throw. They should have started running the ball again or at least threatening too. Idk why they went empty backfield on the very next play that led to the INT. As much as a loss sucks. Down by 28 at one point. 5 Turnovers. 2 missed Fields and still came back to make it a 31-29 final. GB couldn't play any worse and still almost pulled it off. Definitely feels more like they lost because they beat themselves not because the other team was far superior. They'll see them again.
And don’t over use JJ man!!! Need him healthy for Dec Jan - Love throwing 50 times made up for the 2 games he missed and he absolutely shook the rust off
Still don’t get why they stopped running so early. Jacobs was running great. Would also be nice to see our corners to be close enough to make a play on the ball. I get that it’s against Jefferson and Addison, but even when they’re against lower grade receivers, we still don’t see it. That being said, we almost won this game. Have to give this team a lot of credit for their grit
The more I watch these PFF videos, the more I believe that PFF is useless. I have a feeling that if they don't make changes, they'll begin to be phased out as a serious stat.
Gary and Clark are among the top paid guys in their positions. Not earning their salary thus far. And, Jaire ... he's missed 23 of the last 53 regular season games. Got his pick six and ... expect him to be a goofy Buckley clone going forward. C'mon, a quad injury in ... PRACTICE??? WTF.
Nixon had the strip but he did also not only give up the TD to Jefferson but also on the jet sweep where he couldn’t tackle the guy. I count the strip as more of amazing timing by Hafley but sure Nixon can get a bit of credit. Just not that much. He’s gotta step it up still. With that said, I do like Nixon outside if that means Williams at S with Bullard at NB. Ballentine looked lost when the sweep came to his side and he reacted sooo late it was unbelievable. I’m sure Hadden can prove himself as better depth than what Ballentine showed. If Jaire healthy then just put Nixon as the dime. Williams has got to play more period.
Back in April I was reminding everybody that this would be just an average team this year despite all the hyperbole and fantasy crowing by exuberant fans about Love's 8 game showing and then anointing him a franchise quarterback with a vastly inflated salary. I guess now with 25% of the season behind us my prediction is spot on.
If our defenders still have poor grades going into week 10. Then we may see another defense heavy draft next April. I believe we need to target a CB and WR in the top 2 rounds next year. I believe it is time to start looking for a true heir apparent to Jaire, and Watson is just too injury prone. We neee to draft Watsons replacement. I believe that hes shown enough to know hes not a WR1 or WR2. Just a role player, like a MVS. Id like to see Gutey go and draft a role player like him, who is not so d**n injury prone.
