Too funny. I'm making one of these for a swap and just realized the book you're working on is the one you sent me. I can tell by the placement of the coffee cups. I love this notebook. Refillable also.
Hi tiffany. Great video. Plan on making a lot. One thing I would like to ask. It would be nice if in the beginning of the directions for your products/ tutorials, to put the paper cuts first, so we can write the sizes down first and then if we want to pause the video and cut our sample pieces first, so we can actually do the product with you. Some of the other video instructors do this and it is very nice. Love your products and ideas.
I reinforce my tabs by gluing a lightweight paper to the cardstock making sure there's good coverage. Let it thoroughly dry then train it to curve by rolling over a pencil or score for a squared off look. This helps from the tabs tearing off quite as quickly. You could even double up the cardstock.
Love this!! Thanks for your detailed instruction too and pro tips. What kind of adhesive tape did you use to hold the pockets in place? Sorry if I missed this information.
These are adorable, thank you for the video! What is the item you use to "smoosh" your paper down? :D It is pink, has a circular piece on the end, and a handle? I've never seen anyone use that, but it seems very handy!
It's an Es"press"o from Sweet Sentiments. The handle is a coffee cup! I'm not sure if they have the coffee cup one still but they have one with the regular handle
They should depending on how thick they are. The notepad in the video is 3 x 5 but it was about an inch thick. I just separated it so it wasn't so thick
The paper is from Photo Play; I got it from the Expo but you can get it from any of the online scrapbooking stores stores. The coffee press thing is from Sweet Sentiments. They do have an online store
Love the books, enjoyed the tutorial, but your choice of mismatched colors. Oh my, coffee brown with blue and red polka dots. Would be nice to see it done with more cohesive colors.
Rude! Just because this is not your favorite color combination doesn't mean the colors are mismatched. A quick Google search of the color wheel shows that these colors actually are cohesive. But I didn't design the paper so you can contact PhotoPlay for further color combination complaints. OR you could just be kind and realize people like different things and it's okay for you to not like something but it's not okay for you to be rude.
Hi, new subscriber. Liked the tutorial, but struggled to keep watching during first several minutes due to the volume of the crinkling of plastic packaging. Tried lowering volume, but that made it difficult to hear you. This is not meant to be a mean comment, I did appreciate the video, just want to share my experience as a viewer. Wish you and the channel all the best.
Love this! Yes that Photoplay paper is glossy!
Very nice! Love your project

Most of the time I add the measurements in the description box. I guess I missed this one. I added the measurements.
Thank you so much for sharing . You did an amazing job with the tutorial, not to complicated or confusing at all .
I have that paper collection. Thank you for the inspiration and tutorial.

I use clear packing tape sometimes. But adding a layer is a great idea!
Just let it dry all the way before working with it.

I love this project
Love it❤
Thanks for this tutorial.

@@mrsdianadiana I typically use Scor-Tape. I also love Kathy King's Paper Phenomenon tape.

I have 3x5 note pads. Will those fit this project.
They should depending on how thick they are. The notepad in the video is 3 x 5 but it was about an inch thick. I just separated it so it wasn't so thick
love the tutorial where did you get the paper and the coffee thingie

Can you staple it before applying the decorative paper
staple the notebook? I guess you could. I would suggest putting a piece of cardstock over the staple before the patterned paper
Can you use elastic for the belly band
you could use elastic
Put the belly band up higher so the pad stops at the belly band Then it won't slide down at all.
Great idea! I think I do put the belly band up higher now
Is your printed paper laminated or plastic pieces
@@pamelapruett7833 I think it's just gloss or shiny paper. That's how the paper collection came.
I only found 3.5 x5 notebooks
Will that work with measurements
You will have to increase the measurements by 1/2 inches for that notebook to work.
Are they exactly 3.5 x 5 x .5? I can do another video with those measurements
They are the 3.5 x5 mini writing tablets from dollar tree
Yes can you do a tutorial for that size ?

Sometimes I forget to take the plastic off before I start to record lol!
