This is one of my favorite things to make. I've gifted several and even made a bunch for a shower. People like them alot... and I keep one in my handbag.
Thank you for sharing, these are great!!! My 13 year old daughter is making some as gifts for her friends and so far they look so cute! She is still working on them and we are waiting for the magnets from Amazon. What kind of glue did you use to apply the magnets? 😍
Hi, Tina. May I know the size of the magnet you used? Also, if your pen has a smaller circumference, will the measurement for the pen change? Still trying to figure out the pen insert. Love this idea.
I use tiny magnets. They are tiny but strong. I purchase them on Amazon. I do believe the size of the pen would change the size of the pen holder; however I understand that they sell small pens with clips.
@@ideas_n_embellishments thanks for replying. I looked it up but there’s so many like 5x1mm etc I was so confused. 5 is the sz of the magnet, 1 mm resembles the thickness. On the pen, possibly just the cut, isn’t it?
Love this thanks for sharing
Thanks for the idea!! Cute to use a small pencil!!💗
You’re welcome!
Love this TFS
Hi Tina, these are adorable, fast and easy! These will make great stocking stuffers, thanks for sharing! ❤
I'm so glad that you like them! I made them for the ladies in my office last Christmas. They loved them!

I already have a bunch of post-it pads and want to make some. Where do you get those tiny magnets for the closure?
I bought them on Amazon. Search for 5x1mm magnets. You can get 500 for about $10.
Hi Tine. Thank you for sharing! Please tell me the name of the tool you are using to cut the pencil.
They are called miter shears!
