Great how the interviewer goes STOP STOP STOP when this kind gentleman is overcome by emotion at the very end of this interview, having kept it together throughout his remarkable testimony. Such a sweet daughter and wife by his side, though!

Consistently these guests practice immense patience with inept interviewers. So many of the questions answer themselves.

It amazes me how tactless this interviewer is, How can you ask questions like, “how did you feel when the Nazis found your hiding place. “. She also knew very little about Łódź. Why are they not trained how to deal with such tragic situations, or learn some basic facts ,

It's a record of history. Getting his thoughts and feelings about his experiences during the Holocaust is very important for the next generation.

I’ve listened to over 20 of these amazing testimonials. Each time the interviewer has been horrible.

what a detailed account of a jewish upbriging. hiw beautiful and zelous this family is. God bless you. I am a christian of jewish discent with a special love for the jewish nation and jewish people. to understand christianity one has to delve into its roots and get to know as much as possible the jewish soul with its consecration to Elohim in mind in heart in all one's stength and being and then overflowing into all the daily tasks, celebrations and shabbats. In unison with my jewish brethren I daily recite the shema everyday in Hebrew, read daily from my Hebrew Bible and pray each day for the peace of Jerusalem which is a.metaphor for the jewish nation. my family and I also celebrate seder once a year with all the details according to the tradition. I am saying this so one understands that there are christians who love the jewish nation, not just but who feel it is their mission to be one with them, they who passed on to us the prophets, the books of Moses and the devotion to the one true God. you are our elderly brothers showing us the way. we are forever indebted to you. May the lord bless you and keep you, may he shine his eternal face upon you and give you peace

I wonder, why so many jewish people who started a new life in other countries like UK, USA, Canada, Israel etc. changed their original jewish name in a "more assimilated" one??

This Testimony, and others like it, recalling the Destruction of European Jewry, should make your question self explanatory

Every group that immigrated to the US did the same exact thing prior to the 1960s when celebrating one's culture of origin became the norm.

Companies would not hire Jewish people back then for white collar professions. Large companies and banks.
