    My only question would be why you chose to make it 8x8, because that would make it a square, and squares are not desirable in recording situations. Still, I am certain you will be able to make it work, and building a room within a room is sick, and I'm honestly worshiping you now for your skills in construction, passion, and ingenuity. Taking notes...

      @tiadiad I really appreciate that! I know that directly opposing walls are not the most ideal in terms of acoustics. I made the decision so I could make the most of the limited space I had to work with, and considering that the drywall is sold in 4x8 panels it would allow for lower material costs. If I had a bigger space and budget I definitely would have gone with a different design.
