I’m so happy to have stumbled upon your vlog! I’ve been homeschooling my preschooler in Australia for the past two years, and I’ve noticed she’s well above her year level. Conventional schooling parents often comment on how advanced she is, which is encouraging. We’ve taken a mixed approach of unschooling and structured learning in subjects like math and English. This time together has really helped her develop her identity in Christ and embrace her unique cultural background. I believe the one-on-one learning has allowed her to hone in on her interests and strengths. However, she’s recently expressed a desire to start school, driven by curiosity, so we’re planning to enroll her this upcoming school year. I’m excited to see how it all unfolds! I can’t wait to hear more updates from you guys and continue learning together 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, it always awesome to hear of others experiences too and how they are doing it. I love that you’re letting your daughter have that experience of school too ❤️ we don’t know how long we’ll be homeschooling too before we have a kid ask us to go back to school too but we’ll soak this all us for now lol I’ve seen so many positive things about homeschooling and also kids that were homeschooled that loved it too, and you are so right I’ve seen that a lot of the kids that were homeschooled were quite advanced. Hopefully our kids will get the learning they need, we are still trying to figure out the unschooling part but we too are doing structured learning with the math and English. Thank you again for watching and for your insights we really appreciate it 🙏🏽❤️❤️
I am homeschooling my grandson (13 yrs old), started 2 weeks ago. It is the best decision I have ever made. Will be following your homeschooling journey. All the best❤❤
Yeyy 😃 Best choice to make for your children. Homeschooling was the answer to our prayers for our children. They LOVE it and we will never go back . 😃 We're in America and we do Abeka academy. It's Bible Based, (Christian) and our children love it very much. God bless ❤ What God has started in us, He will finish it. Trust in Him. ❤ #Samoanhomeschoolers ❤
Yaaaay to more Samoan homeschoolers 🇼🇸 😍 you’ll have to share some of your ideas with us, how long have you been homeschooling for? Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏽❤️
We will make 5 years this September. 😊 My kids started in 3rd and 4th grade. Now, one my son is going to 8th grade, and daughter will be in 9th grade (High-school) this October. We don't connect with any homeschool groups. We did that in our first year, and it didn't work for us. We do our own learning (besides their lessons from Abeka) and our own thing now 😂 No pressure 😂 Our kids have church friends and two neighborhood friends they play with outside. That's enough interaction for them 😃 😊 We know why we homeschool them, and we keep it like that 😃 😊 They have more time (free time) to learn to play instruments, bake, clean, (rooms, bathrooms, house, ) do laundry, cook, learn 3rd language and play golf with us 😃 plus more. That's everything our kids have done and doing so far. The best part is, they're doing it all at our own pace and time. I was surprised when my daughter learned to bake on her own 😂 (I don't) 😅 she made puligi, and other Samoan favorite desserts and pastries, too 😊 they both play few instruments too. I thank God everyday for this great opportunity to homeschool our kids. You guys got this. You will also learn as you go. ❤ #GodBlessAlways
Wow! You are amazing! You’ve given me more confidence to do this thank you 🥹🙏🏽 We feel too that church gives them a lot of social interaction too so that should be moe than enough 😂 and whenever we go playgrounds they always make friends there too so I’m sure there will be no problems there 😂 I love that knowing your why for homeschooling and sticking to it! I’m excited for our kids to learn how to speak Samoan fluently and cook island dishes too! That’s so impressive with your daughter making puligi! 😍 well done! We got this 🙌🏼❤️❤️
@@mrs_550 God works in mysterious ways! Homeschooling my grandchildren has been my dream. Prayers have been answered. My grandson has calmed down a lot- he loves the talk and sharing that we do everyday in between his learning!
What an awesome decision to homeschool your beautiful kids!❤ all the best.
