How to Remove RV Fireplace and Fix a Noisy Simulated Fire

  • In the beginning I show the noise coming from inside the space heater. After that you can see how to remove the glass from the front of the heater. If you want to see what is inside the heater then stay tuned and see what I did to stop the noise coming from the simulated fire. To replace the unit, it simply plugs into an outlet.
    UPDATE: Oil worked only a few days. I had to move the silicone washer away from the other one to stop the noise permanently.

    Awesome video!! Thank you for showing step by step & giving great tips!! I'm going to try & diagnose my own loud noise. One other thing...do you know how to disable the loud beeping noise the controls make?

      Thanks! My unit started making the same noise but it took days to happen. I guess oil doesn't work on silicone, I took it apart again and moved the clear silicone washer over so it doesn't even touch the other one and it works fine now. I'm not sure if these units have a 'quiet' mode for the beeping. They seem pretty low end.
