Hello
Suggestion: Actors that ruined their movie/show chances of success.
Second reply les goo
Nickelodeon GAS I loved watching this channel, it had GUTS, Wild & Crazy Kids, What Would You Do, Legends Of The Hidden Temple (My Favorite) & not to mention the fun shows I used to watch.
G4 is coming back
G4 would have been just fine if they didn't switch 99% of their programming to Cheaters and Cops reruns.
G4 is coming back to tv some time next year
Their RUclips channel is up.
@@tylervaburen5965 *This fall
I wish that were true, but they did that because their gaming shows were failing badly
I miss their Ninja Warrior.
Man I remember Toon Disney, Noggin and G4. G4 is a interesting channel; It had Attack of the Show, Ninja Warrior (which to me is superior than American Ninja Warrior), and other shows. I remembered watching Noggin as a kid watching Moose and Zoe on commercial breaks to the next show. ^·^ Man, childhood was interesting.
I remember when G4 was video games exclusively then joined with Techtv to form G4techTV. It was still amazing till they rebrand it G4 again but only ran episodes of cops and cheaters like... why tf do that?
OG Ninja Warrior is GOATED. it's what I watched alot of off that channel
Hell ninja warrior, unbeatable banzuke, and code monkeys were the only reason I would watch G4.
Robot Wars was on that channel as well.
Nobody's mentioning X Play.
Old Boomerang needs to make a comeback.
@@CubeAtlantic hopefully
Hopefully someday
Definitely!
Omg YES
HECK TO THE YES. Me and my friends get no respect!
I really do miss The WB. Buffy, Angel, Felicity, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Supernatural, Smallville, Dawson’s Creek, 7th Heaven 😢
All the weak teen dramas
Matt Reeves contributed to the creation of Felicity.
WB merged with UPN and became CW they now do Supergirl, Batwoman, Flash, Star Girl, Legends of Tomorrow, Outpost, Kung Fu, Riverdale, Supernan and Lois and other shows.
@@hydrolito yes I know. I actually didn't like that when it happened.
@@hydrolito I hated when the merged.. UPN should stayed to themselves and WB should have stayed to themselves.. Both were great channels..
Who's remembers seeing Olivia Munn on "Attack of the Show!" on G4?
Also loved watching "X-Play" with Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb! 😁
My brother in law worked on attack of the show. Olivia Munn was a class a Bee Itch.
@@depalma13 Wow, really? Yeah I guess you can get that vibe from her.
@@GabeReal9009 He was on the production staff and she treated him and several of his co-workers horribly. Screaming at them, threatening them with losing their jobs, acting like they were second class citizens. The stories are endless.
@@depalma13 Wow, really?? Who the hell did she think she was? Ain't like she was a freaking Hollywood movie star yet. Poor guy, lord knows I wouldn't stand for that. Jokes on her because her acting career is pure shit too!
My show was Cheat! With Kristin Holt👍
NickGAS and G4 basically carried me through my year living at home between graduating college and getting a job. I give those channels a 5….out of 5.
UPN 💪
UPN was amazing.. I miss it..
It should've made the list, yet wasn't even an honorable mention.
@@kenrickkahn agreed. and do you know what the irony of upn and the wb merging to form the cw on on Thursday september 18 2006 is it's that both channels were also created on the same day. monday january 11 1995. it's weird isn't both channels were created and died on the same day. upn doesn't get the credit it deserves people are right it is an underrated channel. i don't know why most people think the wb is better when neither channels were better than the other one i watched both and both channels are equal in terms of quality.
🙏🏾✊🏾💯
@@coreynance3874 I don't know where they got 1993 as WB's debut date from. At first I thought it was a typo but where the hell did they get 1993 from, when the WB debuted in January of 1995? 🤨🤔
I miss Chiller, 24 hours a day of horror related shows. And I like there countdown shows, top movie mosters, horror movie involving children. They had horror movies I had never seen or heard of before.
Yesss but do u remember that special Thursday thingie?? Also me and my mom and sisters watched that channel every night
Davey. It's "monsters", not "mosters".
Chiller was awesome
The original Boomerang Channel needs a honorable mention, also. I watched The Smurfs every day because of this channel. 📺💙
Ah yes, I do miss CBS. I wish they haven't been defunct in like 2004.
God, I feel old remembering several of these channels. Still can’t believe they’re gone.
Oh well… that’s life. Certain things just die out quicker than you, you know.
The WB and Kids’ WB! to me are the best tv channels that dont exist anymore.
Toon Disney still holds a special place in my heart.
Honestly for me dog it was always (WeatherScan) it always got me intevesed in sci-fi, aerospace, aviation weather & etc as a toddler, kid & teenager. :)
I agree.
I remember when it became Disney XD.

g4 was the shit dont know why they didn't integrate their platform to RUclips. if they did at the time it would defiantly be the go too for all gaming related coverage
G4 relaunched on RUclips not too long ago and it’s doing great for being new
A lot of the people who worked on G4 ended up on Machinima/Inside Gaming/Funhaus.
They just restarted their channel with a bunch of youtube gaming personalities as well! So things kind of came full circle. I believe the channel started in june!
I think they may be coming back on Peacock and even said they’re gonna be showing new episodes of the original Ninja Warrior.
Does anyone know if any of the original tv personalities/hosts are on twitch? Maybe it's a good time to see a RUclips video of what happened since G4 went off air to all those who left the network.
G4 such a nostalgia. Gamer since I remember how to walk, it’s such a great show to watch after coming home from middle school.
I was hoping for VH1 Classic to get at least an honorable mention. I spent so many hours watching that channel as a teen and learned a ton about music from it!
I’m nostalgic for the MTV and VH1 that actually played music videos. Remember that?
Hell yeah I do
Those were the days
Wish mtv would go back to playing music videos instead of reality shows
@@kevinking2556 Your package may not include this channel, but MTV classic plays exclusively music videos.
y e s ℹ️ do xD 😂
I'm so glad I was around when The WB existed. I would have missed out on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel," and "Dawson's Creek." And as far as Kids WB is concerned, I would have missed out on "Animaniacs."
And Roswell, 7th Heaven, Smallville, Supernatural, Gilmore Girls 😊
I was around when the WB was just channel 11 out of New York and was touted to be a movie channel for people who didn’t have cable or satellite tv. I’m old…..
TLC used to stand for “The Learning Channel”, then the entire channel got re-defined into something else.
TLC Latin America: Travel & Living Channel
TLC U.S.A.: The Learning Channel
TLC America: The Honey Boo Boo Channel
Once the programmers let one 'reality show' onto the schedule, then that whole network is DOOMED! That's how they basically ruined the History Channel!
TLC is now a channel airing a two-hour pro wrestling show called 90 Day Fiance and should ditch the TLC name for something different at once.
Maybe Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Brandon Cutler, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Adam Cole, and Omega's manager Don Callis should appear on Pillow Talk.
Actually, 90 Day Fiancé is a reality show about foreign fiancés hooking up with U.S. citizens.
I'm kind of surprised any of the prior forms of FreeForm wasn't mentioned, because they were at one point ABC Family, Fox Family, and I think one other.
Same.
CBN Satellite Network
CBN Cable Network
The CBN Family Channel
The Family Channel
Fox Family Channel
Fox Family
ABC Family
Freeform
I remember when Noggin was first introduced. TV Land did a two hour "Electric Company" special promoting the network (and a contest to have you electric bill paid for a year if you can recite the shows theme lyrics).
Man, Kids WB absolutely made my mornings everyday. I can't thank them enough for literally changing my life with Pokemon.
And then G4 TV as a teen, it never left my TV. It made me feel seen, loving gaming and anime. Such a phenomenal way to discover great anime.
G4 was something needed for us nerds
Well HTF was on G4 I tho no
I miss 'The Hub'. The Haunting Hour and Family Game Night were two of my favorite shows.
Yeah, that's another channel they completely forgot! I loved Dan Vs., lol.
Yesss
That's actually where I discovered Family Ties.
@@brandonpage7087 yeah dan vs. Was a great show hopefully the whole dan vs revival thing works out maybe if it does it wll last longer since mlp fim is over and it wont completely overshadow it this time
Same here, really loved Family Game Night
G4 was so entertaining. It sucks that it ended.
Remember that anime styled Wolverine show. It was so fire
It's on Netflix now and Ironman
But... it didn't. It's back as of 2021. I haven't seen it yet, but I do know that it's back and it still has X-Play and Attack of the Show... not sure if the original hosts are still there. I'm not sure what else is on it as I don't have cable anymore (thanks Roku).
@ Jason Carson X-Play was so much fun. I liked Adam Sesler.
The God of War sketches were funny and so was drunken Link on X-play.
There were a couple of cable TV channels I miss -- The Box and H2. I especially liked H2 because they dug deep into the History Channel's archives and showed a wide variety of programs instead of recycling the same few shows over and over again.
And H2 is now VICE, whose shows are mostly about crime and sex and the "Dark Side of...".
SO many fond memories of watching TechTV in college - then it became G4, then it died. We had a TV in our IT office on campus and it basically always had TechTV on in the background. So many great shows and names. Leo Laporte went off and started TWiT and still does like a dozen videos a week for his different channels.
Anyone remember 4KidsTV? The amount of times I woke up at 8 am every Saturday morning to watch Sonic X is too much to count XD
I remember back when was Fox Kids and they were showing Digimon Adventure, Mon Colle knights, and Power Rangers.
Used to be Fox Box that I remember... it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2k3, Ultimate Muscle, Kirby Right Back at Ya, The Cramp Twins, and Sonic X
Fox Kids had Power Rangers, X-Men, Spider-Man, Goosebumps, Beetleborgs, Digimon, Bobby's World, Tiny Toon Adventures, Batman: The Animated Series, Animaniacs, Taz-Mania, Casper, Carmen Sandeigo, Dog City, The Tick, Eek! the Cat, Life with Louie, Mystic Knights, Godzilla, NASCAR Racers, etc.
Sonic X was my childhood. I remember seeing an Easter commercial with Sonic and Eggman
Yea I watch tmnt 2003 on 4kidsTV when I was little
Yeah, I remember 4KidsTV. It used to known as the FoxBox.
Toon Disney was my entire childhood. The pet's teacher, ducktales, Pepper Ann, it's all coming back now.
at least its on disney+ pepper ann is coming in september
Toon Disney could've been their answer to Cartoon Network, but the execution was terrible.
Gargoyles on Toon Disney was my childhood.
I used to watch Pepper Ann every morning before school. :)
@@jake0324demo I know, I wasn't much into Pepper Ann.
qubo was an interesting kids channel, in that it didn't seem to know exactly what it was aiming for. It was a mismash of preschool shows, repeats from the 90's, PBS shows that ended, and stuff from Canadian Television. It even had Qubo Night Owl, where it played 80s cartoons like He-Man and She-Ra throughout the night
It's parent company, Ion Television, was bought, and qubo was rebranded.
And on a side note, who sang along with the Pokemon theme song?
I'm nostalgic for American Movie Classics, VH1 Classic and Boomerang(back when they showed classic toons).
I’m actually surprised cable tv still exist with all the streaming apps available
I think cable is still doing just good enough to survive in this new climate, but given enough time, it will eventually be phased out by streaming services.
I know me too
I miss MTV... when they still played music
The death of MTV started with the Real World. Then the slow transition from music to reality tv started and within 10 years there was more reality tv then music.
My parents never stop talking about MTV. Expected that to be number one.
@@conniethesconnie MTV was great. So many memories. I would tape Headbangers Ball after I had already gone to bed. Then I'd watch it when my mom went to work. I also enjoyed 120 Minutes where I found bands that I might not have listened to otherwise. At least there's the RUclips algorithm that makes suggestions that helps me discover new bands but it's not quite the same
Wait a minute? MTV played music? I was wondering what the M stood for in MTV.
I feel so old...."back in my day the M in MTV stood for Music. We had VCR's, cassette tapes, at one point we even had a dial on the TV that he changed by hand. We didn't always have cable TV. No sir. We had 10 channels on a good and antenna on our TV. Our phones were on the wall or maybe a table. We couldn't walk around to talk on the phone unless you bought 50 feet of extra phone chord. It’s sad kids nowadays will never get to experience the true cartoons we had back than. I miss those days!
Let alone the channels themselves
But, hey at least some kids are probably enjoying some cartoons nowadays.
When I was watching things like Spongebob, Swat Cats and Cow & Chicken my dad thought those cartoons were terrible in comparison to The Looney Tunes, Flinstones & Tom & Jerry lol. He was ecstatic when the Boomerang Channel became a thing.
Those were the days, when cartoons had actually story and character development. Nowadays, these shows are just about getting the kids to leave their parents alone

Noggin, G4, Toon Disney, and Kids WB were all big parts of my childhood! I miss watching the original Ninja Warrior on G4.
I think If disney fuses with discovery warner than cartoon Network and discovery familt and bommerang will become disney network central Disney Network west Disney Network east and Disney channel and Disney xd will become Disney Network North and Disney south and Disney junior and cartoon ito will become Disney Network kids east and Disney Network kids west while adult swim will become Disney Network adult bronx channel entertainment programme DNABCEP
I watched G4 for Attack of the Show. This gave us Chris Hardwick, Olivia Munn, and Sara Jean Underwood.
I'm surprised Chiller TV isn't on this list. I LOVED that channel. Rest in peace, Chiller, rest in peace.
That was one of my favorite channels! At least we have Shudder, that’s something.
Didn't it used to be Trio?
I miss G4 so much as a kid me and my cousin would watch it religiously. Also omfg The WB Saturday morning cartoons!!!
I deployed a few times between ‘04 and ‘13 and AFN (Armed Forces Network) used to play a block of CSI and then around 1530 everyday we got Attack of the Show!!! Oh how I miss watching game reviews of games I probably wouldn’t be able to find when I got back to the states.

It even has its own theme song "World of Jetix"!
I miss when G4 had the 4/20 special every year.
Ahh, The N. That was a MAJOR part of my teenage years. Although I miss G4, I feel like majority of the shows have basically become content on RUclips.
The N1? 1??1
I used to watch Degrassi: The Next Generation a lot on The-N (later TeenNick) back in the day.
@@spencerkarterlive7378 Me too. Along with Instant Star, and Radio Free Roscoe.
Kids WB defined the 90s childhood for many, especially if you only had a few tv channels at the time. Pokémon, Yugioh, Animaniacs, etc. These are shows that still to this day carry a lot influence on the lives of 90s kids either by nostalgia or current products. Besides, it was the glory days of early morning/after school cartoons and Saturday morning cartoons.
Every day I would tune into Kids WB after school and watch every Saturday morning the new episodes. The time of N64/Gameboy Color, movie rentals and the rise of anime. It was definitely a simpler, yet very enjoyable time to be a kid.
I remember watching Attack of the Show on G4 on Saturdays while hung over. Good memories. That whole channel was ahead of its time.
I miss Discovery Kids so much.
Still miss a lot of the shows from it.
Endurance, Serious, Strange Days at Blake Holsey High, Time Warp Trio, Tutenstein, Flight 29 Down, etc.
A Latin American version is still around but it's so lame-ass as hell, they mostly show Peppa
Time Warp Trio was my show!!!
They didn't even put that as an honourable mention.
We still have that here in India.
G4 is getting relaunched this fall! They've been having streams on their twitch channel every Tuesday-Thursday and it gives serious old school Attack of the Show vibes and if you were a fan of G4 back in the day then you should definitely check it out. Super excited for the comeback!!
They hired Gina Darling as one of their new show hosts, so it should go great for them !

1. Canada had BBC Kids, which shut down at the end of 2018, and Teletoon, which got replaced recently by Cartoon Network while the existing CN got replaced by Boomerang.
2. In terms of kids' TV brands, there's Qubo, KidsClick, Vortexx, Playhouse Disney, Discovery Kids, The Hub, and Sprout.
3. An app using the Noggin name launched in 2015 (it even featured the original logo AND Moose A. Moose and Zee), but nowadays it has a modern Nick-style logo and branding.
Aw man, G4 and Toon Disney/Jetix were the bomb back then. I miss those channels.
VH1 Soul listening to Hip Hop & R&B 24/7 was literal music to my ears.
I remember when they had NO commercials between breaks and only played promos from the network or other Viacom networks. And my god, the bumpers for different music video blocks!
Vh1 soul was one of my favorite channels. I agree with you. Music that turn your bad days into good ones

@@AJ-xc4qe it's a marathon
WB was my thing. The WB's promo theme and style was better than CWs. I remember the black background with the slow floating letters of WB and stuff as opposed to just the green all the time and stuff. I remember the commercial narrator's compelling voice during promos of dramas.
WBs promotional presentation made stuff feel cool and important.
Let's petition to bring WB back.
Or at least make CW promote their shows way WB used to with the cool graphics and stuff on the commercials.
Or a Warner Brothers streaming service.
G4, such good memories of watching that channel to know what games are coming up and all the gaming information
I loved original, low budget G4. Especially drunk Link, and the little sketches they did. Then one day, without warning it completely changed and I never watched again.
I will never forget Nick Gas. That’s where I watched all of the Nick game shows like Figure it Out, Double Dare, Guts, & Legends of the Hidden Temple.
There on PlutoTV, and Legends of the Hidden Temple is coming back.
Yyyeessssss
y e s ℹ️ loved (Nick-Gas) as a kid 💯
I noticed a huge problem with Nick GAS in the 2000s as Nickelodeon was no longer airing any game shows. This meant no new programs for Nick GAS and the station would die from it. Nick was falling apart in the 2000s with no game shows or no classic kids shows to air like they did back in the 1980s and 1990s (Lassie, Brady Bunch, Patty Duke Show, Dennis The Menace). They just filled the time slots with more SpongeBob & Fairly Odd Parents.
They mention UPN but didn’t include it on the list. Didn’t even get an honorable mention. Also I think I’m the only one who remembers it but there was the “Intro TV” station back in the early to mid ‘90’s. They aired a video game show called “Twitch” with Matt Gallant as one of the host.
UPN needed to be mentioned! It was the network for African-Americans and was #1 as a Racially Diverse TV Network
@@Snowboi1963 No other broadcast network at the time had more black shows than UPN.
I remember that UPN in fact when UPN and WB both launched I actually thought this network's going to overtake the WB for sure because on those early nights UPN had amazing shows like Star Trek Voyager where the WB had this absolutely annoying show called The Wyans brothers. But then the WB eventually got amazing shows like Reba, Sabrina the teenage witch, Buffy the vampire Slayer amazing shows that were definitely must see TV.
But if you're going to talk forgotten that works what about PAX. There is no network today like PAX.
Voyager & Enterprise are definitely the UPN shows I loved
My favorite (upn) show was (Everybody Hates Chris)

Another honorable mention is THE BOX. It was a call in music video channel. Used to love it!
I miss the days of watching the Comedy Network and finding all those random old sketch comedy shows from all over.
Also, I used to call the TV Guide Channel “The Channel Channel “, because simple minds= simple amusements.
I can remember simping for Morgan Webb
also when FOX and CNN were actual news channels

The WB in a nutshell: The TV network and where kids enjoyed their favorite cartoons while their big brothers and sisters waited until Dawson's Creek to come up
I was watching WB from the beginning, when they had all the Black sitcoms. That was what the channel was originally known for.
@@brandonpage7087 before that was Fox, Martin, Living Single, Roc, New York: Undercover

That SNC weatherman was Bob Richards, who was my hometown weatherman when I was young. He died a really tragic death.
I thought he committed suicide after getting caught cheating on his wife.
I remember coming home after school and turning on G4 and watching X Play… time flies I think Fuse was another good channel
I used to LOVE G4! Before looking online, we got our cheats from that channel, plus in-depth reviews for popular games, news about gaming and even conventions, and so much more!
Theyre back and on twitch and youtube now!
G4 was a safe haven for us gamers and comic book nerds. So hype for their comeback

The Hub was something special. Too bad it was a bit ahead of it’s time
Just a heads-up for anyone watching that's epileptic or has photosensitive epilepsy, HUGE WARNING AT 0:47 b/c of the lights from the concert!
I remember the TV guide channel when it was just had a blue background. Then music later on.
And of course they wouldn’t mention the Wayan Brothers for the WB channel
Remember watchingThe WB with Pokemon reruns and Mega Man NT Warrior on afternoons, thinking Friends was a The WB show from the 2000s. It just kinda fit the young adult vibe and it was allways advertized. Then I found out it was actually syndicated and that it began in 94 a year after my birth. Ironically, Warner Bros. actually did distribute Friends, though it was on NBC.

P.S. born in 95 if your wondering, but no really fuck the cable provider.
ℹ️ was always curious of what happened to (Jetix) honestly dog.
Like, honestly, that would be worse than scoring the miracle touchdown... and then missing the game tying extra point with no time left. That's right, I'm using a football reference for this one.
Oh man, I remember G4! The only series I liked to watched on it was X-play! I always loved seeing Adam Sessler and… I forgot the name of the woman, but I remember her face and personality on the show, but I could never forget Ratty!
Damn, that show shaped my childhood when it came to gaming. I’ll never forget that review one of a game, where Adam introduced the whole thing in a calm voice, like he’s introducing you to the events and activities of a family vacation. I’ll never forget how he just calmly says ‘Kill look-a-likes’ in such a calm yet enthusiastic tone like he’s introducing the crafting activities. I thought it was Postal 2, but the review I found online differs from what I remember. Either way, it’s a memory I will never forget.
God, I’m old, but I don’t feel bad about it. 😁
I have seen a lot of old Dumont programming. My husband loves to collect the kinescopes and filmed tv episodes that he can find. Always cool to see the old shows.
I miss Jetix so much
Jetix is part of my childhood. I used to watch Jetix every night on Toon Disney as a kid.
Jetix 😭
I remember when they changed it to disney xd. They said they'd be dojng both but eventually went full disney

I still find it hard to call Animaniacs a "children's" show. Backyardigans was a children's show; Animaniacs was an everybody show, since everybody can enjoy it.
Imo I used to find Backyardgians as a "children show" that anybody of all age can enjoy it's probably cus of the witty, and good humor.
@Chris RJ Thank you!! My words exactly! I find a lot of animated shows to be like that. Hell, there are even some live action shows on kids' networks I couldn't call children's shows.
@@YakkoWarnerTower I know right. Same here. I STILL find The Backyardigans to be that way. I thought for sure I was the only one. Lmao😂

It's a edgy
WB was the best for sure but it didn't really change that much to CW the WB was already about dramas and Super hero shows dating back to Smallville honestly. That show paved the way for every DC and Marvel show you see now.
The CW was just The WB and UPN merged together. Most of the shows from The WB made the switch and only a few from UPN did Veronica Mars,America's Next Top Model,Everybody Hates Chris and The Game. UPN had a long legacy of black tv shows and science fiction (and shows that were cancelled by other networks when The WB cancelled Buffy and Rosewell UPN picked it up) and The WB was known for teen dramas, fantasy teen shows and superheroes so even almost 15 years later The CW really still embodies the essence of The WB and UPN....well except that The CW hasn't had a sitcom since 2009.
Pretty much except the one big difference is now days some of the shows on cw are a bit overboard with the wokeness depending on the show. I dont mind it if its natural but the shows that force it(looking at you supergirl and bw) wind up hurting the shows ratings from fans feedback theres a problem. Flash and Arrow aren't as bad with it but I miss when they just focused on fictional stories like Smallville and Buffy and SUPERNATURAL.
The Jamie Fox Show, Happily Ever After, Sister Sister, Smart Guy, Superman, Men In Black, Pokemon- The WB was on 🔥 back in 90s
Ah. Noggin I loved it so much. Oswald, go Diego go, wonder pets and so many amazing shows and moose and zee were great mascots.
Ah yes... waking up on Saturday mornings to watch Kids WB in my pj's. Shows like Yugioh, Pokemon and Mucha Lucha... sigh. Good times.
Same here , and it's sad because I don't watch channel 20 anymore, because that were the WB used to air on channel and the reason why I don't watch channel 20 anymore because it's dead
One you forgot to mention was UPN, it shut down 2 days before WB and shows from both networks ended up on the CW
G4 still hurts me to this day. The all gaming channel had to resort to reruns of Cheaters and COPS until it went out. I am however, very gleeful to see G4 getting a second lease in life, albeit thru RUclips and Twitch. It's only a matter of time til' it becomes a real channel again, especially now that gaming has become more profitable.
It will be back this fall.
@@Tyrone181 when and where?
@Lucifer Five Someone with a Brian lol. Am I the only person on the internet who goes back and reads what I typed before posting it?
The best defunct channel for me was in the late 80's/early 90's and it was called "The Jukebox" and later "The Box". It only played music videos and you would have to call and enter the 3 digit code to get your video played. It was $1.99 for 1 video or $5.00 for 3 videos. My mom would let my sister and I call as a reward when we did something great. Unfortunately, the school district found out that kids were skipping school to watch it all day and somehow got it removed from Comcast and later killed the channel altogether. I still have music videos on an old VHS tape with the videos scrolling at the bottom. That was seriously the best channel ever!
I miss vh1 and cmt when they were actually about music
I miss Kids Wb and Fox Kids they were awesome especially since during 2000 through I think 2005 I didn’t have cable. Plus it was thanks to both those channels that I got into Anime.
I REALLY miss Jetix (earlier Fox Kids, now Disney XD; Toon Disney in USA) and Jetix Play (earlier Fox Kids Play, now Disney Junior)
They both defined my childhood and ran the best cartoons.
When they were replaced, I almost cried. And that was when I was 8...
I watched these since I was born
These were also most viewed kids channels in Europe next to Cartoon Network
I especially miss Oban Star racers on Jetix
I miss Noggin, Oswald, Wonder pets, Dora, Backyardagains, I miss these days. I remember their so long for now message, I was sick laying down watching it when I was a kid, it’s sad, great fun cartoons. I miss OG boomerang aswell.
me to :(
Damn bro. Me too
Same, dog :)
The Wayans Bros. The Jamie Foxx Show. The Steve Harvey Show. The Parent Hood. No one seems to remember that those black sitcoms are what made The WB in the first place.
Yes…this…And UPN…Ironic that when they merged, all the black shows were done away with 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
I won't forget MuchMusic USA. It was the only place to watch music videos featuring exclusive Canadian artists thanks to a countdown show. Not to mention UPN, which had black sitcoms, Veronica Mars, and my re-introduction to anime in syndication.
I firmly believe Spike Network belongs on here.
That is now the Paramount Network.
@@LooneyCartoonMan I know, but if Comedy Centrals predecessors were on here. TNN turning into Spike and then Paramount Network should be as well.
@@okaeT TNN was once The Nashville Network...they basically showed a lot of Nashville-themed shows, & Country music videos...& then they started showing ECW every Friday
They later became The National Network once the WWE came to the channel...and after a while, became Spike TV...& now it's the Paramount Network
Ah I remember tv guide channel. When you wanted to know what was on you had to wait forever for it to scroll back around to the channel you are looking for
The only one that gives me nostalgic was Noggin. So many memories.
Ong
You never once mentioned the Box (whose tagline was, "Music Television You Control"), TNN, Spike TV, or UPN. I feel those would have fit into the favorable mentions far better than some damn Puppy Channel and "Hawkvision".
I remember Noggin and when it changed to NickJr. I’m glad it’s coming back in an online format.
@Maaliyah The Noggin streaming app came out in 2015. Did you not hear them?
If Discovery Kids isn’t here, I’ll be disappointed.
Edit: it wasn’t on the list, but at least you guys mentioned Noggin and Toon Disney. All 3 of these channels were staples of my childhood.
Discovery Kids changed its name to The Hub Network in 2011 and then in 2015, they changed it again to Discovery Family (still exist today). Discovery Family felt like it’s the kids version of the TLC network.
@@KadeemG61 To be fair, Watchmojo included Toon Disney and the WB on this list even though they're completely different channels nowadays.
I am also disappointed Discovery Kids wasn't on here.
ℹ️ actually thought (WeatherScan) was gonna be on the top-ten list.
Same!! The good ole days with Creepy, Scout, the castaways from flight 29, you name it!
I wish Nickelodeon GAS existed still I loved watching those Games Shows & other shows. They would really have good ratings if they brought it back.
Me too!
It's going to be on paramount plus im assuming
Last time I checked, Nickelodeon GAS was on Pluto TV.
@@eldempsey8605 serious that’s awesome I’ll have to check thanks for letting me know
@@eldempsey8605 thanks. I had no idea
Kids WB (along with The WB) is my nostalgia channel, and while it is sad that it no longer exists, it was such a great channel, with Pokémon and Animaniacs.
However, one show that I remember watching was "Jackie Chan Adventures". Kids WB owned this cartoon and is one of the underrated TV Show.
One of my other favorites originally from Kids WB was "Static Shock", a DC cartoon and one of the best superhero cartoons like The New Batman Adventures
Game Show Network used to be my go to channel for almost every classic game show! Glad Buzzr is around.
UPN should’ve it at least been given an honorable mention. It did bring us shows such as Girlfriends, Veronica Mars, Everybody Hates Chris, And a majority of popular black sitcoms form the 90’s and 2000’s that are still popular on streaming today.
#8: I wasn't a big video game player but still enjoyed watching G4. They even occasionally shown some good anime.
#5: Comedy Channel is where I discovered MST 3000.
#3: Wasn't that the Channel that shown Captain Video?
#1: And we finally saw Michigan Frog talk.
Just make sure to 'watch out for snakes.'
Hmm you forgot about Spike and “Blue Mountain State!” Now you have a cookie race!
Bruh just don't eat the cookie lol
SPIKE evolved into PARAMOUNT Network. Most of SPIKES programming plotlines can now be seen on the VICE Network; or as I call it, the pothead channel.
And the channel that predated it, The Nashville Network!
@@misterxar Luken Communications and Jim Owens Entertainment tried their hand at reviving The Nashville Network as an over-the-air TV station, accessible to everyone using a TV antenna, in 2012, but in 2013, Luken changed the name of that channel to Heartland.
The only channel that comes close to the style of classic TNN these days, is Circle, a new country music/Southern lifestyle network 50% owned by Gray Television and 50% owned by the Opry Entertainment Group.
Oh SPIKE TV that channel that played CSI reruns (Original Vegas [I say this because the reboot, that has some of the legacy characters started two weeks ago] and Miami if I recall).
I remember trying to record those reruns.
Spike TV Was My Jam From MXC To TNA Impact and Blue Mountain State also Jail and Afro Samurai originally known as TNN
Early cable subscribers may remember Home Theater Network, a competitor in the late 70s and early 80s with the likes of HBO and Showtime. Its limited daily programming ultimately doomed the channel and was rebranded The Travel Channel which exists to this day.
G4 and Toon Disney sounds so cool, I’m upset that I wasn’t born yet when it was still there. I remember watching Avatar: The Legends Of Korra, Beautiful Bones And Generation X in Tsunami and Garfield, The Lemmings and Wacky Racers in Boomerang.
Thanks for reminding me that the pokemon theme song is forever stuck in my head Watch Mojo
