I just found your channel and your studio is beautiful. I cross stitch and also enjoy quilting. Kim Diehl and Jo Morton are two of favorite designers. I went back and looked at your first video. I think I spied a Smores quilt by Jo Morton. I will definitely be regular viewer. Great job!

Gorgeous studio. For the squeak in the vintage boxes, just rub old colorless candle or beeswax on the edges. And beeswax will smell good too.

Like several others, I stopped by after watching Brenda and Laura rave about your craft room tour! And when Brenda gives you marching orders you do it! What an amazing area you have for crafting. I would love to see a weaving video as that is on my bucket list of something I’d like to try. Slowly making my way through all your videos and enjoying them very much. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Janome MC 6600 is the machine I have as well. I am very happy with it. Your space is wonderful.

@@mountaincraftsstudio I have an appt soon to have my machine serviced. I don’t use the foot pedal, just the start/stop button and it is becoming a little finnicky. Not always controlling the stopping in particular.
@@christinecurrie7553 I’ve had mine for at least 15 years and I’ve probably only used the stop/start button once. lol

I’ve noticed we had some of the same things. I like seeing how people organize things as well. I think I got the fabric basket idea from Lori Holt years ago. It was a life changer.
You have such a nice space for all your crafts! Someday I hope to get mine organized better, but find it is more difficult when you are a multi-crafter. Would love to see your weaving projects, as I also have a loom and do some weaving.
It really is a struggle with multiple crafts. You want to have things easily accessible but that’s tough if you have ten hobbies! Our last house had a walk-out basement, I had three different rooms that I could spread things out in. When we moved here And had everything in one spot I realized I need to reign things in a bit. lol
@@mountaincraftsstudio Am really trying to rearrange and at the same time eliminate a few crafts, but it's sometimes hard to downsize our stuff.

I love your studio! So nice and clean and organized! I love all the old furniture and boxes and things ... when I move into my farm house and get my husband to build me a studio ... im gonna have lots of antiques everywhere ... ive never done weaving ... I would love to see you weave ... that is something I've been wanting to try
Thanks. I love all my old stuff. Most of it has been junk pieces that we’ve salvaged and repurposed. So much less expensive than buying new things and they have so much charm.

It’s a struggle with this many hobbies, right? And all my knitting and spinning is still in the house!
@@mountaincraftsstudio mine is all in one room (except the long arm) and I’ve been neglecting my knitting/spinning/weaving and concentrating on quilting and cross stitch. I love knitting shawls but I have stacks of them.
@@melodiethomas659 I’m the same way right now. I rarely leave the house since the pandemic started so my need for a shawl has reduced drastically. lol
What a warm, inviting space to create all the things. It's too bad we didn't meet up when you lived in Indiana. I'm in Noblesville and love quilting, wool applique and needlework as well. The old Quilts Plus was one of my favorite shops. We could have gotten in alot of trouble together!!
Well, you’ll be happy to know that we are still here in Indiana only an hour from Noblesville! Our cabin in Alabama is our winter getaway. I was just at Always in Stitches last week.

I love your studio. It’s so well organized. I wish I knew how to do half the crafts you do especially rug hooking. Always excited when I see you’ve posted new video. I think the quilt on the wall would be fun to make
Thanks, Wanda. Rug hooking is about the easiest thing I do. The hard part is finding supplies for it. I’ll put a video together sometime for you.

You have a beautiful studio! I do a lot of the same things as you do. I had to give up my loom though because I just didn’t have room for it with my longarm and spinning wheels. So many projects. At least we weren’t bored during lockdown!

Loved your area. If wishes were horses, I would have one just like theirs. (I have only table looms though.) fyi I have heard that rubbing bar soap on wooden drawer runners will make them glide better.
