What's good bro. I'm digging the new Bel Air. Critics are going to critic. It's a good twist to the original.

Grew up on the fresh prince and when I heard there was a remake thought it was gonna be trash cause most remakes usually just money grabs.
Personally I found the new flaws and stuff the characters had super interesting and more relatable to what I know. Especially with people who have money and power (black white or purple).
As far the “gay agenda” I thought it was cool cause being relatively young that’s what I’ve experienced with people my age tryna figure themselves out in a world that is more accepting of it.
Imma white guy so def coming at this at from different perspective than you. Personally I’ve been enjoying it but understand some of the problems ppl have.
Great video keep it up 👍

Bel-Air is a decent show. But, you have to be willing to purge your mind of how the characters were portrayed in The Fresh Prince.
The differences between the two shows can be attributed to the fact that one is a drama and the other is a comedy. Another glaring difference is that there is a 30-year gap between the two shows. A lot has changed in three decades.
For the most part, the character "tweaks" in Bel-Air do not bother me. Hilary in Bel-Air is a more realistic portrayal of how an affluent, young adult would act in 2022. And, as such, Bel-Air Carlton acts like a rich, Black teen would act who was raised around rich, White teenagers.
But, Dubb, I would be remissed if I did not discuss how the LBGTQ agenda was shoehorned into the show. There is absolutely no logical reason why Ashley, a preteen, has a crush on another girl.
This is a textbook example of lazy writing. In the first few episodes, I wondered why Ashley was sort of an afterthought. They rocked us to sleep by portraying her as wholesome and innocent. I started to think that there would be no story arc for her.

I agree somewhat with your take on Ashley... But are we trying to say the context and thoughts during her convo with Hillary are out of bounds and unrealistic?
Whether we like it or not the LGBT community is loud and proud. We can't continue to act like they don't exist and want representation through television just like every other group. Again... I don't necessarily agree with it, but this situation was lazy writing like you said. Ashley definitely is an afterthought in this show.
This seemed more of a "hey... this is what we'll do with Ashley" rather than the usual, "let's force this agenda down their throats."

Agendas so no, I don't agree with you. You should have viewed the full season before this review.

I think if you're gonna make a statement, make a clear one. It's almost like you missed the point of my commentary.
