- Dr. Rocco Errico clarifies the original intent of biblical texts by comparing Aramaic texts with Greek and Hebrew versions. He shows how ancient idioms have been translated literally, thereby confusing many present interpretations. His goal is to reach a better understanding of the Old and New Testaments by interpreting these idioms correctly.
WHEN I THINK HOW MANY YRS U HAVE STUDIED ARAMANIC N NOW YOUR TEACHING ALL OF US THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR US. IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. AS IT HAS CHANGED MANY OF US I WANT TO THANK U WITH ALL. OF YOUR TEACHINGS
The problem here is stated at the outset: “original Aramaic texts.” There are no such extant texts. The oldest manuscripts we have are all in Greek and Hebrew with very few phrases written in Aramaic. His entire premise is working from the assumption that the gospels were originally recorded in Aramaic and translated into Greek. That’s not necessarily the case. It’s well known that the Apostles themselves did not physically write the gospels. They passed them down orally and they were eventually recorded, most likely, in Greek and Hebrew. Just because Jesus spoke Aramaic doesn’t mean the gospels were originally recorded in his native tongue. If I wrote a story about a French person, it doesn’t follow that the story would be best understood in French, even if the story was originally told to me in French. Ironically, in attempting to translate the gospels into Aramaic, he is likely committing the same mistake he claims the supposed Greek translators made, namely, misrepresenting the gospels. Now, if there were physical evidence for his claims, I’d be open to hearing that evidence. But as of now, all he has is a theory, and one should always be weary of theories without evidence to support them.
I realky appreciate Dr Rocco's teaching and it all makes sense to me now. Amen.
No point at all in these philosophies if we don't live out charity and gifts of the
Can't get enough of your teaching Aramaic. Thank u once again Dr Rocco Derrick.
Jesus did have a theology just like other Jews of his time. Compare the Bible to second temple Jewish writings.
Eastern religion in Aramaic ☹️no proof original scripture was in Aramaic nor new testament language, tho there may have been many ways to interpret foreign languages. May not be truth but can instill any belief...many think they have the correct wisdom.☹️ Like Ethiopians have their own Bibles with a mingling of many other doctrines☹️
Excellent teaching. He confirmed everything I’ve been saying for years.
I strongly recommend writings of Rudolf Steiner on the Gospels and the Book of Revelation. They cast a strong light on the evolution of humanity in the past, present and future, its changing states of consciousness
Great teaching...Great information
Same to all other comments,

Sir while agree with you on others I would strongly disagree on hell fire, moses leadership the depletion of Egypt economy, splitting of the Reed sea, Joshua commanding the sun to stop, so and so forth..this were not just psychological or idioms..
if the Orginal was Hebrew does it really matter what the Arabic or Aramaic says?
In regard to Hebrew qinah the meaning is very strong. See Isaiah
