Thanks for showing one of my favorite series so much love over the years. Konami might not care about it anymore, but amazing remixes like this give me the biggest smile. The remix is perfect, excellent job!
Not trying to advertise but have you Heard of Bloodstained? It’s the spiritual successor and still receiving updates from most of the same people that made SOTN.
@@Carikenja I own all three Bloodstained games, and while I loved them all, it just sucks that we're never getting a real Castlevania game again. A real shame that a series with such a legacy will have Lords of Shadow 2 (a title I found middling at best) as it's final game.
@@Zapperrix I just pretend Lords of Shadow didn't exist; depending on how you see things, the last game is Adventure Rebirth, and the last game you can get without trying to buy a console that hopefully has it is Order of Ecclesia.
I believe it was to be similar to Rondo Of Blood gameplay-wise, and I'm pretty sure there do exist sprites for Richter, Maria, and a rival character of sorts to Richter. I think the name was planned to be Castlevania: The Bloodletting, though I don't know if it was an official name or if it was a name given by fans, given how little we know about this initial 32X Castlevania project.
I am in full agreement, this is better than the official mix. TheLegendOfRenegade has a knack for capturing these songs and converting them to Genny sound fonts in such a unique way.
Did you guys know that a madman/hero is remaking SotN for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive? :D You can find it by searching on RUclips: "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Remake for Sega Megadrive/Genesis - Dev Diary 1"
Been playing through the Castlevania series over the past few months and have fallen in love with it. This satiates my primal needs for bopping remixes.
Very nice. In my humble opinion, your YM2612-style remix/cover of this track from _Castlevania: Symphony of the Night_ sounds more "courageous" than the original. Keep up the good work.
Symphony of the Night! Love this castlevania game because it brings so much nostalgia and within mixture to the Sega Genesis music format that’s amazing! Good Job 👍🏼
I don't know if you know this but there's a guy working on a project to port this game to the Mega Drive, search for it if you're curious about, I think his name is pigsy. Btw nice remix
Lmao you funny.. i owned both you wrong both had positives n negatives. Most ppl didnt know how especially in europe too program the Genesis sound chip. Also the Snes was release 2yrs later after the Gen thats alot of time in the technology game. Sega made the Genesis too take on the Nes which it did and Nintendo counted. Then Sega started tripping..blah..blah..blah....
If you are a programmer then speak with property, if what you say is due to an expert then close your mouth, here the suitable ones make the most of the virtues of the two consoles, sega with its powerful processor and snes with its beautiful sounds as you want ...

RIP Castlevania, Silent Hill, & Metal Gear 🥀

Yet it such difference games early beta.

The rival Hans later reused as fake Trevor sprites.
This should totally be in that MD de-make of SotN that's being made! Rock on dude
I'm sorry the WHAT?!

Me: talking with friend about Symphony of the Night and how I played it in childhood
Renegade: YOU WANT IT???? IT'S YOURS, MY FRIEND
Death went and took my Alucard weapons. Can't have shit in Castlevania.

This guy is probably the reasons this remix is in my recommendations
Pigsy!!! He is also remaking GG Shinobi into MD/G Shinobi!

This was the second Castlevania game I played besides Bloodlines and I say this track is fire!

Nice rendition ! I love Castlevania tunes with the Genesis chip sound !
Sounds just amazing, congratulations
I usually prefer the SNES soundchip, but damn, the hard-edged "Genesis sound" just fits this song so perfectly.
tight gives me a 32X feeling
Indeed an entrance. What an epic entrance.
Yes! Always great to see a remix from _Symphony of the Night,_ it's a superb game.
Demon Castle Zone. THERE! Got something out there. lol
I imagine this is how Castlevania 32X would have sounded.
Awesome remix. \m/ it sounds badass sega genesis style.

You couldnt even loop this?
You didjt knew the saturn version has a loop end that flows better?
Please stop crying. Sega is past.
Man, since 1991 I have felt so sorry for you Sega Genesis owners. Genesis sound and music was so inferior to the SNES
Lmao you funny.. i owned both you wrong both had positives n negatives.

After 30 years it’s way past the time! Let it go!
@@RolandoMarreroPR you right ...like Frozen.. LET IT GOOOO LET IT GOOO
So why Genesis sound is like arcade? And snes had muffled sound?
