Rabbi Tovia Singer will go down with people who don't read their bibles from Genesis 1 to Revelation. I am sorry to say because it's painful. Rabbi Tovia, so when is your Messiah coming? Jesus the King of kings and the Messiah is coming soon, are you ready? He is coming as King and not as a suffering Messiah like he did the first time. Can you give an answer why certain portions of the bible such as Isaiah 53 and Daniel 9 are among the forbidden Judaism books? The answer is that they are the most strongest evidence that prove that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Please be open minded people and read the whole bible and not only certain portions of the Old Testament. You will miss out on heaven because of another human being.

So, how can a Jew like this self-proclaimed know-it-all rabbi and you all who put your trust in his words explain how in the world that a false messiah and his twelve "students" (fishermen, tax collectors, sinners, etc) and other jewish laymen let billions of gentiles to call Hashem God the Father? Meanwhile this rabbi and others, calimed to be real Jewish rabbii have been struggling to make Hashem's name known by following their Judaism. Whether you want to admit it or not, you make your "Hashem" so exclusively Jewish that it is hard to accept him as a loving God.

You are to teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. Jesus was not boastful. When He said to Peter, "flesh and blood had not revealed this to you," He is simply saying only by the power of the Holy Spirit you can know and understand that.

@@lisamounts6555 "HASHEM" is used in place of G-d's name (the tetragrammaton). We do not usually use any of the other names in conversation. The reason is each name for HASHEM reflects another aspect about him. The four- letter name, which does not mean "the existing one" it is actually a contraction of "he was, he is, and he will be" which in a limiting way means "eternal." That name addresses the attribute of mercy. "G-d" in Hebrew is "Elokim" and this name represents the attribute of strict justice. You can understand why we much prefer to use the name of HASHEM in hopes of telling into his abundant mercy. I also want to caution about the casual use of and pronunciation of the tetragrammaton. The name was only pronounced by the high priest in the holy temple. If you follow the ten commandments there is a prohibition of using G-d's name casually. When speaking English Jews always say "HASHEM" when talking about G-d. Yes, if you are talking about HASHEM, definitely call him HASHEM.

Hashem helps indicate specifically the Jewish deity of Israel, when speaking Hebrew at times I think if we didn’t have another name for the Tetragrammaton it’d be very confusing explaining to Muslims, Hindus, Christian’s, what deity you’re speaking of when speaking in Hebrew.
I’m simplifying heavily but it’s really just a means of differentiation.

The five books of Moses had been written so much later than the "creation" of the world, the "great flood", the patriarchs and even Moses so that the time gap between Jesus and the gospels is negligible!

This is later confirmed by the birth story of Jesus in the gospels.
All his disciples including 500 other eye witnesses that witnessed the resurrected Jesus went to their deaths proclaiming the same, including a zealous pharisee called Saul who killed and imprisoned Christians for their claim later witnessed the risen Jesus, completely changed his attitude, wrote majority of the letters in the new testament proclaiming Jesus as the messiah and God and went to a gruesome death for proclaiming the same, people don't put their lives on the line especially for barbaric deaths for a lie, look at the name of the LORD for example, why is it that the only letters we have of his name YHWH in ancient Hebrew pictograph say "Behold the Hand Behold the Nail" for me this very name is fulfilled in the very thing that Jesus came to do in order to as he claimed in ancient times make the sins of his people white as wool, I made up my mind doing my own unbiased research on the matter and whoever would like to do the same the choice remains yours in deciding but bare in mind this is a matter of remaining in sin and paying for it yourself or accepting the free gift that we ourselves cannot accomplish in this wicked world, one more thing, how much more beautiful that his hebrew name is yeshua, it literally means salvation.

If he is the creator? Since I gather my info especially of genesis from genesis, it nowhere says that he consults angels he speaks to himself so to speak when he says "let us", but before that we are introduced to one prevalent part of God as a whole "the Spirit of God" hovering, "ruakh Elohim" breath/Spirit, another evidence for this is that dialogue he has with himself about destroying Sodom and Gomorrah before he tells Abraham, why would Moses record that? Your spirit knows you because it's part of the whole of you, thus the Lord himself says in the latter days I will pour my Spirit on all flesh, does this mean rejectors of God? The miracles He did, and the walking on water (Matt 14:25 and Job 9:8), saying that He as the Son of man will return on the clouds of heaven (Matt 26:64 and Dan 7:13-14), Matt 26:63-65, were all confirmations by Him of being The Messiah and G-d. My question is what did Jesus do wrong??he didn’t kill,he healed,he made the blind to see,healed the leopard,he try to bring his people back to God but was rejected just like all the prophets sent to Israel. Did they listen to the prophets?? No. Reading Moses I cry cause I hear Moses pleading to God not to destroy his people for making a golden calf. They couldn’t elven wait 40 days and they were punished 40 years. I can understand why many Christians (or ex Christians) saying that or thinking that…it’s normal.
But for me personally, I don’t see it as “who was I talking to” all this time. Even if it is somehow proven Jesus wasn’t God or even the Messiah, my intention wasn’t to “Jesus” himself per se. My prayer intentions were to GOD himself (It just that we were taught that he’s in a triune fashion). But if he’s not, that’s better to me and simplifies things. It’s always been honestly confusing to all of Christians honestly. So, I don’t see it as a big deal honestly and it makes more sense.
I think Tovia Singer is just jealous of Jesus. Millions love Jesus, millions are willing to die for Him. Millions love the God of Israel because of Jesus. 2000 years after his death and resurrection He is still changing lives, He is still bringing joy to the soul of people. Contemporaneous history. - History is not written on the day or second it's made. According to historians, most old history is centuries off from the event. But, these were living contemporaneous witnesses. We don't know when they wrote down what they wanted to recall before finalizing their work and testimony. How is there over 300 prophecies written throughout the scriptures about Jesus Christ the Messiah and all separate gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John do verify and show proof that Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of His first coming.
The key example I have is Isaiah 53, written nearly 700 years before Jesus Christ first coming. It happened, as portrayed in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They do not contradict, they prove what indeed the prophet Isaiah said in the 53rd chapter. There were many witnesses that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He appeared to over 500 people.
Also, almost every one of His disciples except John died terrible martyrs deaths and did not deny that Jesus Christ was Messiah. The LORD and Savior of all who would believe in Him. He completed His mission perfectly, sinlessly. Why would he defend himself or argue about whether he was God or not? He was fulfilling all prophecy about himself, to a tee. The ones asking wanted to stone Him, He was destined to die on a cross, and read Isaiah 53 and the last 3 verses of Isaiah 52.

And this is why the gospel of Jesus Christ is rejected by many, because they do not believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God is the Messiah. There are many who are seeking the Truth, and why are there prophecy that is being rejected that happened to Jesus Christ, witnessed by many, credible accounts written down by many even outside of the disciples accounts. And there are more and more artifacts being found all the time. Never once has anything contradicted Jesus Christ and His birth, death, and resurrection.

When I first converted, Rabbi Singer was right, I wanted to think Jesus was a rabbi or teacher of some sort. As I spent more and more time as a Jewish women, over the past 12 years, I realize he just doesn't really matter to me. To me, Trump was famous for the "Big Lie", but Christianity is the biggest lie. I wish I wasn't taught all that junk as a kid. Now I am making up for lost time, reading the Tanakh and learning Hebrew.

I repented for my unbelief and the spirit retuned. The spirit and Jesus are one with God. “HaShem made Moshe elokim unto Pharaoh.” (Exodus 7:1) The question, “who was Yeshua,” is not offensive to ask. Maybe Yeshua was merely a prophet as the Beit HaMikdash was still standing, but his teachings were obviously corrupted over time. His answer was pretty terrible. He maids it clear he was the messiah and was going to establish his kingdom . Difference is, people were supposed to be spiritually aware enough to figure it out since his presence was not like of any teacher or prophet before , this is why he said flesh and blood didn’t reveal it to him, it was a understood without him trying to overtly convince anyone
Don't forget... there also have been secular writings of Jesus's death and resurrection.
Eye witness accounts have been written (gospels) and have been rejected by Jewish scholars. And also secular writings because they don't want Jesus as their messiah.
It always seemed to me that the accounts found in the NT could explain who Jesus was and what happened to him much better than any other hypotheses. The man was 30-33 yrs old, he preached with shocking authority and shocking clarity and yet appeared mystical to all which only added to his charisma. Then there were the last moments of his life on earth, which were so bizarre and fast-paced and yet were so internally coherent that if someone or some people were to make all this up they would have to a pretty wild imagination and a genius at story-telling (and have a very specific agenda). I think if someone seriously sat down and opened the gospels with an open mind and went through the entire story from beginning to end they would realize there is truth in there. The messiah did come and free (part of) the Jews from stagnancy and close-mindedness, and helped propagate the best of the Jewish laws and philosophies to non-Jewish people for the good of the world.
At least to me as a non-Christian the gospel stories made a lot of sense to me. The Trinity is where I stop. May God guide us all to the truth.

If the point of the Gospels is to convince us that Jesus is the Messiah, then who ever made up the Gospels should have understood that Jesus should be constantly saying “I am the messiah.” Our supposed eternal soul depends on believing something that Jesus never says directly. Not even once. The fact that millions of people over hundreds of years believe something about a man 👨 that he never admitted, even though their so-called eternal soul hangs in the balance, proves to me that Christianity is a deception sent by The Most High.
